Nice, big Chinese restaurant with a good menu. Lots of seating. Very clean. Enjoyed the chow fun (a bit salty), the crispy tofu and bok choy with tofu. Love that they offer the brown rice. The bok choy was fresh and delicious. They were so accommodating with our vegetarian and low fodmap needs. Oh and the portion sizes are ginormous. Really enjoyed this place. read more

It's mediocre, which is being generous. The tea was the only highlight of our meal. The sweet and sour chicken sauce was the consistency of jello. Definitely won't be returning unfortunately. read more

The food was mediocre, at best. Definitely not worth a return trip. I suggest driving farther into town to find a better choice. Hook and Line, for example. read more

Asian diner with a. great menu! Los of pre-fixe items where you get to try a little of everything, but you make the choices! We chose family dinner e which is a lot of food.....a lot!!!! You get soup ((3 choices), two appetizers, either pork fried rice or chicken chow Melin. We chose chow Melin and it was delicious! Our main dishes we chose lemongrass chicken and general Tso chicken. Both were great, but I loved all the veggies in the lemongrass chicken. The general Tso is mainly meat. It worked out great! Service was delightful! Portions are HUGE! read more

Excellent food, service, and affordable family-style dining. We took plenty of leftovers home.

I don't have cravings for Asian food that often. So, when I had a craving for Kung Pao Chicken I gave Fresh Wok a go. While throwing out superlatives would be my usual, I will just say that I will have Asian food cravings a lot more often. Fresh Wok is where I will go to satisfy them! read more

The exterior of the building is misleading. The interior of the restaurant is very nice and they have plenty of seating. I would like to highlight their large booths and tables-great for big parties. The menu has many options. We ordered the Hot Garlic mix (beef, chicken, shrimp). It was very flavorful and not too spicy. It came with soup and rice choice of brown, fried, or steamed. Looking forward to visiting again and picking an other dish. read more

Customer service through the roof! My new favorite place for won ton soup. I have cancer and not much tastes good these days. When I tasted this soup it was as if the angels all started singing. Our waiter told us that his mother made all of the won tons. Thank you for sharing your mama's great food. read more

Fresh Wok is probably my favorite spot for Chinese food in Port Angeles. The food is good and the service is friendly. Portions are generous - you definitely won't leave hungry! The place has your typical Chinese restaurant ambiance, but I normally get my order to go. One slight downside is the combo orders that come with soup do not include the soup if you get it to go. read more

Visiting from San Diego, CA and OMG literally the best Chinese food we've ever had. The hot and sour soup is super flavorful. Our entrees AMAZING. The waitress was super sweet!! She gave me a bag of fortune cookies because I asked if she bought them from San Fran (there's a factory there that makes good ones) but nope! And asked if I wanted more, expected one more and she gave me a little bag of them. Would HIGHLY recommend. read more

We were visiting and were craving Chinese food . Checked this restaurant through google reviews .. actually from outside it looks a very normal restaurant but inside is gorgeous . Lots of space and well made interiors. Good place to sit and dine with family . They have lots of options for big family get togethers. They have beers and it was good . We got some general Tsos chicken , rice and few other stuff .. food was good . Quantity was also good . Service was good. I was being helped by 2 of them with a smiling face. Overall it was a good experience.. read more

The service here is great! Super friendly staff, super fast, very clean. The inside is pretty classic for a nicer Chinese restaurant. The food is just okay. Super generous portions for a reasonable price (slightly more than stated online)! Not particularly authentic or flavorful but will definitely fill your stomach and not empty your wallet read more

Fresh Wok - #1 combo. $17.50 ($19.50 counting tax) - Chinese Near Me - Port Angeles, Washington

Excellent food!! Great staff!! Always kind and courteous! Food is served hot and fresh!!

Friendly staff and large portions. However, the food isn't good. My Mongolian beef (supposedly spicy) had zero hot chilis or spice. The only pepper I could find appeared to be sliced red bell pepper, and the beef tasted old and was kinda sinewy and fatty. It honestly was like Safeway level quality as if it had been sitting for a day or so. It was the first time I didn't take my Chinese leftovers home, since it already seemed kinda funky, reheating again would do it or me no favors. The hot and sour soup was delicious. read more

Not great tasting food. In fact the shrimp did not taste fresh at all. But the portion sizes were generous and it was decent enough to fill our tummies. read more

The restaurant is nice & spacious; food is not bad (for a small town), and the 2 waitresses that work there are hardworking & provided very good service. read more

The restaurant is decorated very on par with the theme. It is spacious and has plenty of parking, and indoor seating. We were immediately greeted by a lovely server who explained the menu to us. We told her we had just finished two long hikes and were very hungry. She suggested a family meal since it came with plenty of food. We ordered family B which came with 2 cups of soup, 2 eggrolls/bbq pork, bbq pork fried rice, mongolian beef, and general tso chicken. Both entrees are labeled spicy but our kids (ages 1, 6, and 8) ate them just fine. The food was plentiful, delicious, and we were filled to the brim. Even had plenty of extras for the next day. Highly suggest this place. read more

Outstanding food and great establishment. Very cool aura, we stopped in to get take out and I wish we had dined in. Very friendly staff, Timmy talked to me while the food was being prepared and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. Hit and sour was amazing. Sesame chicken, amazing. Mongolian beef was just superb. Definitely recommend! read more

Huge generous portions! I loved the crispiness of the honey walnut shrimp, and the snow white delight came with a ton of veggies. Most meals also come with complimentary soup! We all didn't love the pork fried rice though, and preferred the steamed rice instead. We arrived right before closing, but they never once made us feel rushed to leave. read more

My first time at Fresh Wok would have been fine if not for the snotty waiter. He seemed almost annoyed when I came in, which is understandable since if it weren't for me he would've had the whole place to himself. I wanted to get one of the combinations, but it turned out that you can't pick the flavor of chicken wings in a combination, so I chose to get the butter garlic wings instead of a combo, and also got the hot cinnamon donuts. When the wings arrived, they had vegetables on them, including bell peppers. I told him that I wish I had known it comes with bell peppers. I said, "I know you're not going to change your menu just for me, but you guys might want to consider putting a description of the chicken wings on the menu sometime, because when people think of chicken wings, they don't think of them being topped with bell peppers". He replied in a snotty tone, "Well, that's Chinese style. This is a Chinese restaurant, and most dishes are going to have vegetables on them". After I had had a few minutes to think it over and knew I could respond calmly, I walked over to him and told him, "I don't want to make a big thing about this, but a lot of menus have descriptions on them to help people know about dishes. It's not such a weird suggestion. You're attitude was uncalled for. Telling me I'm in a Chinese restaurant when I clearly know that, was just snotty and unnecessary." He was calm about it when he said, "Okay, that's fine". Not "Sorry about that". "Okay, that's fine". It could have been worse, but it wasn't great. When I was done, I asked for two small to-go boxes and received one medium size box that I couldn't really close and still keep my chicken and donuts separate. I asked for two boxes twice, but to be fair, I'm pretty sure he didn't hear me, since he started talking while I was asking for them. He did try to be pleasant to me when I was paying the check, but I felt like he'd had his chance to make things right with me, and he didn't use that chance. Making small talk is not a substitute for an apology. I actually liked the onions that came on the butter garlic chicken wings, and if I were ever going to come to Fresh Wok again, I would absolutely get the butter garlic chicken wings again and just ask for no bell peppers. I would get the donuts again as well. That's hypothetical, of course, because I'm never coming here again. read more

Fresh Wok - Mongolian xtra spicy - Chinese Near Me - Port Angeles, Washington

Good old take out Chinese when you are in a hotel can be quite the convenience, especially when the food is halfway decent of course. We ordered chow mein and mapo tofu. It was enough to feed a family of 6 for starters. They dressed the tofu up with veggies and basil of all things, in mapo tofu? Well it worked just the same and was a nice touch. Sometimes to go Chinese food can just be so so and you expect nothing more of course, and other times you can be pleasantly surprised. read more

Wow! Super impressed with this restaurant but also so ashamed I've lived in this area so long and haven't come here. From the atmosphere all the way to the food, we were so happy with everything. Not to mention how clean the restaurant was. It looks like they are family friends with larger table set ups and booths. Good portion sizes. Quality food. We will back! read more

Visited this place after going to Olympic Park. We had a huge group of 10 for Dinner. Service was quick and fast and we were always refilled with water and tea throughout service. Hot & Sour soup was very delicious and tasted better than most Chinese restaurants we go to. The wonton soup was also hot and warming to have. Portion sizes are huge if you can handle it and after a long hike, it's guaranteed to fill you up. Sweet & Sour Chicken was very crunchy and sweet, just how I like it. A good restaurant after a day in the park! read more

The food is tasty and the service is super friendly and efficient! The portion sizes are really generous which is great, I'm looking forward to my leftover Spicy Garlic Green beans tomorrow for lunch. We also had the wonton appetizer and hot and sour soup, the soup was a bit spicy for my fellow diner, but perfect for me. I will for sure be back here on my way through Port Angeles again. Really good food, portions and service :). read more

Big portions, friendly staff, I would go here every night if I could afford it :) thank you for a great service

Came here after a long hike in Ozette. I was pretty hungry and I was hoping for it to be good. It wasn't terrible, but it was very disappointing. I got the Honey Walnut Prawns, Sweet Pork, Pork Fried Rice, the Lo Mein, and the Cream Cheese Wontons. The Lo Mein tasted like it was boxed. The fried rice didn't even taste like fried rice. The prawns were severely over-breaded. The sweet pork was meh. The wontons were fine but there was something weird that I couldn't quite place my finger on. But none of it was really gross or inedible. The prawns were the highlight even though they weren't great. The honey sauce was very nice and even though the tempura breading was overdone, it was still good breading. Also they gave me WAY to much Lo Mein. An absolutely absurd amount. At the end of the day, I finished the food and it really could have been worse. read more

Visited from Austin, TX where vegan options are easy to come by. I get nervous ordering at restaurants, and explaining my dietary preferences for a range of reasons but I felt at ease with the waitress that took my order. She offered to get me a different sauce for my vegetable spring rolls, she explained what she would ask for the kitchen to be left out (broth, and add ins) and it really made me feel confident that she understood what I needed. The meal was great. Huge proportions that allowed me to eat it for leftovers which took the stress off of ordering one less meal while visiting. I was very pleased with my experience overall. Everything was clean, neat, and the staff was super accommodating. I would come back, and recommend to anyone, visiting the area. read more

Fresh Wok - Szechuan Tofu with white rice - Chinese Near Me - Port Angeles, Washington

We were in the mood for noodles and ended up here. The reason this did not get five stars is simply that we waited A LONG time for a carry out order. So this is not a quick-grab-dinner-stop. Not. At. All. But, I can say, after a VERY long wait on a Monday night, we were pretty pleased with our order. I wanted to get some things that we hadn't tried before. We tried both the vegetable and chicken fried rice. They are both really good. Our kids loved them too. We also tried the Szechwan Beef which was really flavorful. My favorite had to be a noodle dish which I can't find on their online menu, but it was a very thin noodle with chicken, prawns, and pork and a yellow spicy curry flavor. It was really good. I shy away from spicy foods, but this was so good. Last thing to note: We have a family of 6 at home and this was enough food for 3 meals. The portions are very large. I am a fan. read more
