In my case, it is true, although I have been clean and sober for many years. Dr.Hepps and his team treated me with the utmost dignity and respect. I never once felt embarrassed or "dirty" with my condition. The office is full of friendly faces! Faces attached to friendly people, INCLUDING Dr.Hepps. I was put on medication for 8 weeks and today I am Hep-C free! The facility is super clean (with great art on the walls!) If you have Hep-C and are feeling weird about it, I encourage you to make an appointment to see this doctor. I promise, you will feel cared for without judgement! My life has changed! They say you don't know how sick you are until you get well and in my case this is so true! The treatment was a game changer! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!

Dr. Hepps told me that the medicine would be very expensive and if was too much for me to pay, he said there was alternative medicine. My co-pay for that particular medicine was $560 which I could not afford. I was given an alternative drug called Neomycin 500 mg which was generic for Mycifraden. At the time it was prescribed I was not informed that I needed to take it with another prescription. The neomycin prescription made me so sick to my stomach even when I took it on a full stomach. I felt nauseous. I called the office but could not talk to the doctor Hepps. He seems to be unavailable. I spoke to his assistant Anthony three times very nice young man, but I could not understand him because I am hearing impaired so he sent me a text message and tried to explain everything which was really confusing. Basically telling me I needed to take another medication with it at the same time with Neomycin. They ordered another medication for me, which was very expensive which I believe was the same medication because the co-pay was $560. Which I could not afford as I explained. I called office more than three times and leaving messages forAnthony to call me. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor on Thursday September 24, 2026. On Friday, September 25th a woman called me back and told me that she had received my message and would look into it and have somebody call me back by Monday, September 28th. I never received a call back. I called again approximately October 1st left a message with Anthony and as of today October 7, 2026 I have not been contacted by Dr. Hepps office. Now I am left with bacteria in my gut and no response from Dr. Hepps,. I find this deeply disturbing and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this office to anyone. I now have to start all over with another gastroenterologist because there is no follow through with Dr. Hepps. Lois Sefton

I hate to write reviews like this but the public should be aware of the danger of this place. So,…read moremy visit started with a phone call with a PA who was so nice and amazingly thorough. All the information and prep prior to my procedure was top notch. I didn't mind waiting a little bit late for my procedure to start. Although the facility is old and needs major updates, I was still pretty happy to be there - UNTIL I WASN'T. So after prepping and taking my last minute information, I was moved into the procedure room. As I was lying on my side, just about to be knocked out, I saw something move on the monitor. The camera probe was sitting on a desk top type thing and you could see what the camera sees on a large screen above it. It is a camera they use for the probe and of course everything in its view is enlarged. At first I thought it was a spider. The camera was locked on it and it started to move. I said the the anesthesiologist, "Look a spider! Oh no, wait thats a crab! Look you guys a crab!" But it had disappeared off camera by then and who knows where it went. Although the nurse half heartedly took a quick glance for it, they blew it off like I didn't really see it and then I was out. Okay, oh my God. Yes, it was a crab and it was moving. I wish I would have stopped the whole thing right there but it happened so fast I didn't really process it. I wasn't sure about saying anything but apparently there are no procedures in place to be sure something like this doesn't happen. Because it did - it happened. They better hope to God I don't end up with something after visiting this place. I'm not even kidding. Lawsuits require real damages and I better not have any. If I had known the possibility of picking up an STD was so easy at this place, I would have gone somewhere else. Avoid this place until they get better, cleaner safety standards in place. For real.

I've been seeing Dr. Buch for almost 20 years and I had six or seven gastroenterologists in the 10…read moreyears before that. I saw him again this morning and couldn't remember if I'd left a review about him before so I'm rectifying that now. There are so many reasons why I would recommend him so highly, but here are just a few: He's extremely caring and he pays attention to your questions and concerns. There are very few doctors who do that today but he has been like this from day one. He's kept my gastrointestinal condition under control for many, many years and when I have a flare-up, he always makes a great suggestion that gets rid of it quickly. He spends time with his patients and does not like to be interrupted when he's talking to them, which is extremely rare these days. He makes suggestions about supplements to take to help your condition and your health in general. This is the only doctor of mine who does that. He makes colonoscopies completely painless. He is an insanely gifted diagnostician. He has always figured out solutions to every GI problem I've ever had, but it goes much deeper than that. Years ago I had been though several months of specialists who could not figure out what my condition was. Even though his it's not his area of expertise, he asked the right questions and within 5 minutes he'd figured out that it was a severe case of costochondritis. Again, not even his area of specialization, but he figured it out and referred me to another specialist. That specialist was very kind but could not figure out how to cure it, but I found another professional who eventually cured it. The last time I came in I had a completely unrelated foot problem and Dr. Buch gave me two suggestions that fixed that problem as well. His staff is very attentive and kind as well. If you ask them a question, they will ask Dr. Buch and he will give a specific answer on what to do for your current medical issue. His years of experience are demonstrable and if he does not know the answer to a question, which is pretty rare, he will find out and have his staff get back to you quickly. He is smart, reliable, caring and so knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone and the friends of mine who I have recommended to him in the past have always thanked me for it. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a lot of problems by making him your gastroenterologist. My favorite medical professional, because he has earned it.

I met him in Northridge hospital ER exactly a year ago when he took care of my elderly mother, admitted with a recurrent upper GI hemorrhage. She had been scoped before, and no source of bleeding had been identified. We had almost lost hope in obtaining a valid diagnosis let alone stopping the bleeding. Providers had given up on my suffering mother and were treating her like a hypochondriac... Then came that young yet fearless Dr. Naim. He acted like the person in charge. He is not someone who will accept missing a diagnosis, and this is a trait so rare nowadays. He studied my mother's extensive imaging history. He also called me and explained elaborately his assessment and plan to me. He is a natural teacher. He scoped my mother and found a 3-mm gastric ulcer that he clipped, and we never saw a trace of that again. So thankful for Dr. Naim's care of my mother who soon later passed away for an unrelated reason. Physicians need to remember that how they treat a patient may be the last act of mercy or battery in the patient's life, and one of the last memories the patient's survivors are left with. God bless your hands Dr. Naim.

I've never met Dr. Arasheban personally, but I've been a physician for over 10 years and have encountered many patients who have him as their doctor. What has always stood out to me is how consistently they speak about him with a level of appreciation and trust that goes beyond simply being satisfied with their medical care. That kind of relationship between a physician and patient is increasingly rare. The impression I've gotten over the years is of a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients and takes personal responsibility for helping them navigate their health. That deserves recognition.

I have been a patient of Dr. Armin S. Arasheben for approximately five years. When I first became…read morehis patient, I was very satisfied with his care. He was attentive, professional, followed up on my lab results, and made sure important primary-care matters were addressed. Unfortunately, my experience with the practice has gradually changed significantly. Over time, the office appears to have shifted away from the level of personal and professional medical care I initially received. Much of my care has been handled by nurse practitioners, and I have had several experiences that raised serious concerns for me regarding attention to detail and professionalism. On multiple occasions, incorrect prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy, and I was the one who noticed the errors. When I brought one of these incidents to Dr. Arasheben's attention, I did not feel that my concern was taken seriously or adequately addressed. Initially, I treated it as an isolated mistake, but over time I experienced additional issues that caused me to lose confidence in the practice. Most recently, when I asked about my overdue annual physical, I was told that it was my responsibility to keep track of when my annual examinations were due. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the level of care, I was essentially told that if I was unhappy, I could find another primary-care physician. After being a patient for five years, this was extremely disappointing. In my experience, the practice today feels much more focused on running and expanding a business than providing the attentive, disciplined primary care that I received when I first became a patient. Based on my recent experiences, particularly the repeated prescription errors and the response to my concerns, I can no longer recommend this practice as a primary-care provider.
