Wow. Lucid is the car experience of your dreams. Hands down this was the best new car delivery experience we have ever had. Danielle made it so fun and sophisticated. She had yummy snacks which the kids enjoyed and even coffee. She also gave us the cutest Lucid bear ornaments! We just took delivery of our Air Touring and are so happy. We were lucky and got to meet the CEO Peter at delivery and he even signed the inside of the hood. Not everyday that you get to meet the brains behind the new technology company! So special! I thoroughly enjoyed my recent Lucid Motors | Torrance Cars & Coffee Test Drive Event. Upon entrance, I was respectfully greeted, asked about the vehicles I was interested in, and asked to completed a waiver via DocuSign. I'm sure the legal department will be happy to hear the team was on top of ensuring waivers were completed. I was introduced to Tim and then Quinton, who is knowledgeable, personable and very professional. Quinton took the first opportunity available to introduce himself and then launch into the specific differences between the Lucid Air Touring and the Lucid Air Pure. I learned a lot about the models in a short amount of time and was greatly interested in his perspective since he also has experience with Tesla. I drove both the Lucid Air Pure and the Lucid Air Touring, and Matt accompanied me on both test drives. I enjoyed both test drives, but was more impressed with the luxury and acceleration of the Lucid Air Touring. I also loved the "auto park" feature. Matt was an excellent guide and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle types. The Lucid Air Touring features 620-horsepower dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain, 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds, and an EPA-estimated 425 miles of range. It is Lucid's most efficient model yet, delivering 4.62 miles per kilowatt hour. This vehicle came equipped with a glass ceiling and luckily, also featured shades to keep the heat out. Apparently the shades are a new feature. The Lucid Air Pure achieves 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds, and an EPA-estimated 410 miles of range. Overall, I had a positive experience during the test drives. There were snacks available in addition to the coffee. The Lucid Motors team was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and available to respond to every inquiry. While I was impressed with the 2023 features, I am looking forward to checking out the 2024 models, as well as test driving the Lucid Air Sapphire.

This company is A+++!!! The vehicles are amazing, the service is great and the whole experience of buying a car from Lucid was the best I have ever had. Jeremiah was the first person we met as we walked in. We had an appointment and were offered water and to see the cars we were interested in. Jeremiah knew the answers to everything we asked. We went in and out of multiple vehicles and then went on the most thorough test rides and learned all about the car. As we were leaving, another customer was parking his Lucid from his test drive and the smile and double thumbs up he gave us on our way out was very encouraging. When we returned from our test drive, we were SOLD! We looked at all the available inventory that met our price range, features, colors, upgrades, etc. and found the car. We put a deposit down and went through the simplest application process online, it was terrific. The communication and customer care from Jeremiah and then Daniel was how all companies should operate. The time and detail to go over things and on-board us was incredible. Two days later, we went down to the Costa Mesa delivery facility where we were met by Cory. Everything was done online and the experience in the showroom was again, amazing! The car is beautiful, we are beyond happy and can honestly say, I have been a Mercedes guy for years and had an EQS purchased over the weekend and were driving off the lot and there was a snafu. We walked away and are so lucky we ended up with a car we are much happier with and service that has been truly unbelievable. Lucid, thank you! Jeremiah, Daniel and Cory...THANK YOU...amazing experience and we will be in the Lucid family for a long time now because of the incredible service, people and vehicles you manufacture!

[Review #689] 2022 Yelp 100 Challenge (10/100) I was en route for my son's lunch/playdate when he pointed out the Lucid Studio Torrance (www.lucidmotors.com) to me. What!?! \ ( ^ - ^ ) / I made mental note to drop by afterwards, but didn't have to because M was curious too. Back Story: I'm an amateur swing & position trader, & my son has been watching me research or set trades since he was a 3 YO (he just turned 6). I've been looking into alternatives tickers so that's how he was aware of Lucid Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: LCID). Initially, I thought the dealership/showroom was closed based on its layout/set-up, but saw a couple of people inside so I checked the door & it was open! ヅ The showroom was sparse (intentional?), contemporary, & experience-designed (see video). We were warmly greeted by Venus, who showed us the Lucid Air Pre-Production Grand Touring in Infinite Black. The Lucid User Experience consists of 2 sleek primary touch-control displays: Glass Cockpit (floating screen that sweeps around the driver) & Pilot Panel (centrally located in the lower console display) that's contoured for the driver & within easy reach. The high-tech, user-friendly Pilot Panel (Opening, Seats, Massage, Themes, Charging) was impressive! M was able to quickly grasp its functions, & especially loved the massage options: rolling (my fav), unwind (his fav), wave, stretch, & deep (& boy does it ever!). Too bad he's too short/young to sit in the passenger seat IRL. The car has ingenious storage in both the frunk & trunk that's comparable to SUV storage space; M climbed in both ends. LOL And they're accessible on a smart phone with the app, key fob, control inside the car, button mounted inside frunk, making the storage spaces so usable through multiple access options. We also walked around the experience room that showcases Lucid's Unrivaled Electric Vehicle Technologies (electric drive unit, Wunderbox charging system), Track-Proven Battery Technology (air batter pack), Vehicle Color Schemes, etc. According to their website, the Air has today's longest range, fastest charging luxury electric car with over 1,100-hp & EPA range up to 516-mpg that can charge about 300-mi./20-mins. Wow! (o_O) And for those car enthusiasts/speed demons, the car zips from 0 - 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. Want a speed reference point comparison? It rivals the Koenigsegg Jesko, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, Porsche 911 Turbo S 991 & 991.2, Lamborghini Huracán, BMW M8 Competition, but with a cheaper sticker price. ;-) There's 2 wheel options: 19" & 21" with removable panels that aid aerodynamics. But if you don't like the look, just take them off. Also, the 21" wheels lose more range so you get more bang (mph) on the 19" wheels. The innovative digital configurator makes it easy to design your Lucid Air tailored to your personal taste with the base model starting at $77K. Or you can secure your place in line when deliveries take place with a fully refundable deposit as low as $300 for the Air Pure, $1K for the Air Touring & Air Grand Touring. Production is starting soon with deliveries later this year. Venus tipped a SUV will be introduced in 2023. If you take the Air plunge, 3 years of complimentary charging is provided with Electrify America (this is a limited time offer when reserving the Air); there are 5 such stations in the South Bay area. I could see why Lucid Air was named 2022 MotorTrend Car of the Year. This start-up EV is a definite game-changer in electric vehicle, in looks, innovation, & sleek sophistication!! M races cars on the PS (such Driveclub, Forza Horizon), & rates them in real life; he scored the Air as nonuple (9x) legendary, his highest ever praise for a car! I think M might try to convince Uncle Jeff to trade out his Tesla. ;-) The Studio is open daily at 10:00 AM (Sundays at 11:00 AM) & closes at 7:00 PM during the weekdays & 6:00 PM on weekends. With personable customer service for a tailored relationship with you, you can bet on a luxury affair/an elevated car buying experience. Yeah, I know I was only browsing at this time... a stylish & sexy Lucid Air paired with Ms. Venus's superb customer care, this environmentally-friendly, high tech, gorgeous vehicle is something that I would aspire to own (hopefully in the near future)! At least I can trade LCID in the meantime to save up.

Done my research and figured I should look at the car in person. Scheduled a test drive, got confirmation via email and phone call. Arrived on time at my appointment, absolutely nobody at the dealership acknowledged my presence. Very strange feeling to be willfully ignored. Tried calling the sales representative and the dealership, no answer. After waiting around the showroom for half an hour I left. I guess Lucid is such a nice car they deemed me unworthy.

Well, It's been a week now since owning the vehicle and so far everything's been running good without any issues. Happy to say we got a keeper! So it turns out that the vehicle we were interested in did not work out with the previous buyer who bought it impulsively. Sebastian kept in contact with me to let me know that the vehicle would be available for purchase again. Alejandro & Javier assisted me on the day of sale. Miguel, the manager, spoke with me personally and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Because of these guys, my faith has been restored. I recommend them and will for surely be buying a vehicle with Hertz again. Thank You so much fellas, keep up the good work!

I would advise purchasing the extended warranty, but they will lower the price with some pushback. As soon as I got home with my car, one of the headlamps was not working. Turns out to be a technician fault, as the connector plug was removed during the engine cleaning process before putting the car on the lot. Always ask questions for a full demonstration of all mechanical and electronic systems. These are fleet (rental) vehicles, so their history is unknown, but they do a good of servicing while in their possession. Once you purchase a vehicle, you'll be directed to a 3rd party provider for service. They won't tell you this until you have an issues and request support. I'm not disappointed with the vehicle, but honest up-front should be a priority.

Immediately after purchase (drive home), the truck began experiencing a highway shudder issue along with multiple check engine codes related to engine timing. Another Chevrolet dealer identified concerns, and after a long process of follow-ups, inspections, and repeated conversations, Martin Chevrolet eventually admitted the vehicle had excessive timing chain slack and failing camshaft actuator components requiring major repairs. To their credit, they ultimately covered the repairs, which included timing chain work, solenoids, airbag-related repairs, and additional diagnostic work. However, the process to get there was exhausting and took approximately a month with poor communication and constant uncertainty about what was actually being covered. Things got even worse when I picked the truck up after repairs. Within minutes of leaving the dealership, the truck would not start and had to be towed back. The final invoice documented that the battery cable ground had not been installed to proper specifications after the repair work. On top of all of this, I was told the dealership would cover the rental car while my vehicle was down, only to later discover the rental company charged my credit card for the entire month-long rental bill - over $1,200 out of pocket - because the dealer refused to pay. While I appreciate that the dealership eventually performed the repairs at no charge, the overall experience was stressful, time-consuming, and handled far less professionally than it should have been. No customer should have to go through this much effort after purchasing a vehicle from a dealership.

Thank you so much for being very responsive to my questions and transparent with pricing! I am very happy with the service you provided and I would be happy to recommend you to anyone I know who is looking to buy a car in the future. Kenia is one of the Internet Managers at the Manhattan Beach Toyota dealership and I was mainly communicating with her through text messages. I found her through an affiliate website. Right away she was very responsive in answering me. No BS, no games. She told me the car I wanted was out of stock but she would let me know when it was available. It took a few weeks but she helped me find the car that I was looking for instead of just trying to sell me one that was currently available on their lot. When I came in for a test drive she did not rush me. I felt no pressure at all as I was walking around the car. After all the paperwork was signed, instead of just giving me the keys to drive off, Kenia took the time to show me all the features of the car. For months I had reached out to many dealerships within a 100 mile radius asking for out the door pricing. Some dealerships wanted me to make a deposit upfront, others tried to push options I did not want and refused to remove them when i asked. Most dealerships would stop communication if they did not have what I was asking for. It was like pulling teeth trying to get transparent numbers with other dealers. Kenia really stood out because there was no hesitation with providing the final out the door pricing, and it still beat out most of the competition. Everything she presented was clearly laid out when I asked her to break it down. If you are buying a new car, make sure to do your research! Know what you want, get comparables from other dealerships, and do not rush. Be patient! If you do find the Toyota you are looking for at a different dealership, I would still recommend giving Manhattan Beach Toyota a call and give them a chance to earn your business. You might just be pleasantly surprised with the experience.
