Topic- Shady business practices. Purchased brand new Audi SQ7 from here 2 years ago. Purchased went smooth for the most part. While in finance I purchased the service contract, at which time since we don't put a lot of miles on the SQ7, the finance representative made a change to the contract so it would include the braking system. I confirmed that it would include brake pads and rotors. He said yes. Jump 2 years later, comes time for the brakes to be done, have the SQ7 at South Coast Audi and they are saying the rotors are on included in the contract. So I call Audi Pacific to speak to someone in finance to confirm. Call them in Thursday afternoon and talk to Ceaser, but finance was not available, so lI explain the situation and left my information for a call back. Wait until end of the day and still no call. Call the following morning at 10.23am, talk to John and again explain the situation, but finance is still not available, I'm told I would hear back from someone today. Call back at 3.22pm and again surprise surprise finance is not available. Call back again at 8.00pm, talk to Jackson, if memory serves me right and again have to explain to another person, who is not finance the situation and let them know my complete disappointment. He states that he will be in the next day at 12.00pm and that he'll make sure someone contracts me. Low and behold end of the day Saturday, now 3 days of this and still no one calls back. Now Sunday, call back to speak to the GM, of not there, so it's John again, the original person I spoke to and I lay into him about my disappointment and finally say that I need to leave reviews about my disappointment and the lack of customer care they have. As I'm writing this review finance finally calls back, but at this point I'm so angry that I let them know I'd rather burn them with reviews and pay the $2300 for the service than deal with them again. All and all, don't believe what anyone in the finance department tells you, it's a lie. I wouldn't purchase anything from this dealership again. read more

Just checked the website and saw Mo is still there. I highly highly highly recommend NOT shopping at Audi Pacific. We were NOT happy with our experience with Mo and have so many choice words about his character. I bring this up now because my husband and I are expecting our first and wanted to see if Audi would be a good fit for out family car (in our family, we've already had 3 Audis so we are familiar with the brand). We knew we did NOT want to shop at Audi Pacific and went to Audi Santa Monica instead. Really nice dealership with a great showroom and friendly staff. I was able to get a service appointment quickly and was in and out in under three hours. The waiting area is clean and comfortable with coffee, water, and nice bathrooms, and Anel was especially helpful and pleasant. The reason for the 3-star review is the loaner car situation. I couldn't get a loaner no matter how I tried -- online, over the phone, or in person -- and I wasn't even allowed to get on a waitlist. I was told to call back in a few weeks, which was frustrating, especially since someone sitting next to me got a loaner the same day without any trouble. This matters because I'm dealing with what I believe is a wheel bearing issue, which is a serious safety concern and not something you want to put off. I appreciated being offered a shuttle or Lyft, but this is LA and having a car is pretty much essential. Overall, the staff and facility are great, but the loaner policy makes it really hard to rely on them. What makes it even harder is BMW down the road gave me a loaner with no problem. read more

As a loyal Audi customer, I'm very disappointed with my recent experience at Audi Pacific Torrance. I recently returned my previous Audi and entered into a new lease for an Audi Q 3 Purchasing a vehicle is already a very stressful process, but I was excited to feel I had secured a good deal and was happy with the service I believed I was receiving at the time. During the process, I was told numerous times by the sales team and finance department that everything was going to be covered and there were no additional charges or concerns. Based on those verbal assurances, I proceeded with confidence. After the return and lease were finalized, I was later presented with a bill I was not expecting. When I raised the issue, I was provided copies of the signed paperwork showing nothing in writing that the charges were covered. However, I was verbally assured multiple times throughout the process that everything was included. When I followed up, I was advised to "pay the bill and we'll see if you get reimbursed," which is not acceptable customer service. Additionally, when trying to contact the facility to speak with the general manager, I was repeatedly transferred around and no one seemed to know where he was. When I attempted to leave a voicemail, the system cut off before I could finish. As a return loyal customer, this experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. read more

I am very disappointed in my experience with Cesar Vargas today. He reached out to me in the morning to respond to my inquiry. I informed him that I had an appointment in the afternoon to look at a used Q5 at another Audi dealership. He asked about it and understood that other than rims was the same exact vehicle I was looking at just with higher mileage and a lower price. He asked what I was looking for in price and then said said that's not unreasonable at all and I will talk to my manager and have no problem getting you that price, but you should come look at this one first. I agreed and made an appointment. I messaged him that I had something come up and would be late to our appointment. I then called him before I left to confirm the time would still work and the vehicle was still waiting for me before making the hour plus trip to the dealership. He confirmed and said Ill see you as soon as you get here. I then received a call from him 45 minutes later saying he was sorry, but the car was just sold, and that a colleague was working a deal on the car and they just "shook hands" on a deal. Enraged I said "Are you kidding me". You confirmed before I left and are calling me 15 minutes before arriving to tell me this and didn't even hold the car for me while I drove there. His response was, "Well I could have just waited until you got her and told you, but I'm calling you to let you know". Also that it was Illegal to hold a car for someone in California if it was advertised. If that were true how and why does CarMax do it? He then said "Well you're almost here and I have a few options in black that I can get for you". The worst part is I sold cars for a number of years and sales people like this are the reason why car sales people have the stereotype of being sleezy and dishonest. I have been a loyal customer of Audi Pacific since 2009. My last purchase was in 2016 for the purchase lease of a 2016 Audi A6 Prestige that I had custom ordered. But now? They seemed to have turned into predatory vultures. Here's what went down. 1. My car is a 2016 A6 Prestige package, custom order. 2. In 2026 the car turned over to 50K miles - it sits in a garage most days. 3. Coolant light came on. 4. Took it to Audi Pacific to run diagnostics on it. 5. Two minutes after dropping it off - not exaggerating - I got a text from Pacific asking if I would like to sell my car to them for $15-16K 6. I said no. The next text said they could get me a better offer if I was interested. I said no. 7. A few days later I received an email video with the diagnostics of my car with a price tag of close to $8K for the following repairs: A) Replace Cracked Coolant Pump B) Replace Pipe to Coolant pump C) Replace temperature gauge D) Replace both top and bottom bushings due to cracks E) Turbo Charger Clogged All of that repair on a Custom Ordered A6 Prestige with only 50K miles that was pampered, regular oil replaced, new tires every 15K, housed in a temp controlled garage, etc, etc. I literally predicted this would happen the moment I received a text from them to purchase my car. Their thought process to entrap? We'll make the repairs half the value of the car so they not only sell their old car, but purchase a new one-in a panic. What did we do? We took it to another mechanic who works exclusively on Audi. His diagnostics? Replace the coolant pump and fan. The price? $1K We're buying a new car anyway because it's time, but unless I were to receive a phone call from Audi Pacific's manager based on this review, we're changing dealerships. read more

I thought I would give this dealership another crack since they are the closest to my house and it was raining. I had a decent experience last year with my RS eTron GT Project_513/2 for SW updates/recalls, but then they (and other dealers in LA) were not able to figure out an issue- even with Audi Technical Support and Customer Experience Center- that's a different issue. But the service director, Paul Lee personally came out and sat with me to identify and discuss the issue and since it was the 1st time seeing this issue on a very rare car. Yesterday, I brought my 2023 Q5 in Pacific Service since the power telescopic tilt button on the Q5 was not in its proper position- slightly depressed in and angled down so one could not lower the steering wheel. I only chose to go to Pacific since it was the closest dealer in the rain and they said getting a loaner "hasn't been a problem." [Background, car was at Audi Long Beach the day before for oil change, but I forgot about the steering column button issue]. Upon arrival, I was greeted and met Service Advisor, Jonathan. He seemed nice enough. Once I told him of the main issue- he went to physically inspect it and got the shop foreman to look at it to see if it was something easy to fix. [and another on-going MMI and Bluetooth issue that's known across most Audi platforms.] He came back and said that it looks like "outside influence" and that's not under warranty. It would cost $310. "If it was something easy to unbolt a screw, I would just do it for you, but you have to drop the entire steering column." I declined. He also said that if your car was just at another dealer- you should go back to the selling dealer (not possible since in San Diego) or the most recent service dealer since you have a relationship with them on THIS car. This button is on the lower left side of the steering column and slightly recessed. One of the clips on the inside was not holding it in proper position, but the inuendo that "we" broke this is absurd. There's no physical damage. This is the 1st time (and likely last) that this car has been brought to them- I had a terrible experience with a previous service writer several years ago on my eTron SUV where I asked for my keys back and would not return while he was still working there. He reluctantly wrote up the paperwork for the MMI/Bluetooth issue. One plus- I did get a loaner. (Ebin was great- 5 stars to him) When I returned in the afternoon to pick up the car- pending software solution- and they would promise to call me once SW update available (I've been promised that on my previous Audi's and still waiting for those calls). I will appreciate Jonathan's frankness. He said that I should take the Q5 back to Long Beach or BH since I have had the car serviced there before and since I have an established relationship with them on THAT car- they had more leeway to offer "goodwill" and cover that issue. I was shocked that when he told me that the button was now inside the steering column since the foreman pushed it in while trying to assess. When I actually got into the vehicle- there was now an open hole in the lower steering column and a loose button. Since this was caused by the foreman and it was returned this way- this is not returning the vehicle in the same condition as it was brought it. Not taking responsibility since I declined their $310 charge. Not acceptable. What's more outrageous- I took Jonathan's advice and went back to my regular service advisor at Long Beach today. (Charles is awesome). He not only greeted me when I pulled up- he already saw my note- personally took the vehicle straight into the service. In 15 minutes, the car was ready. Not even paperwork needed since it was a single Torx screw to remove the lower steering column plastic panel and put the power control button back into proper place. I even got a snack in their new comfortable, location. I won't be returning to Pacific- fool me once, fool me twice. read more

Booked a service for my E-tron GT for 02DEC. My retractable spoiler was giving a malfunctioning alarm. When I booked the appointment online, there was no option for a loaner vehicle. On the day of the appointment, I called and asked if a loaner would be provided. The service rep mentioned they were booked out for a couple weeks. I said that's fair and asked if they can book me an appointment on the earliest date a rental is guaranteed. She said yes and booked me out 2 weeks (16DEC). On the day of the new appointment (16DEC25), I arrived and dropped off my car. The service rep stated that I would have to join a waitlist and could potentially get one the next day as it was close to closing. I mentioned the discourse had over the phone to which she apologized and insisted that the phone representative should not have rescheduled and guaranteed a rental as they are booked out months in advance. Unfortunately, that didn't help me as I needed a car for work at 4 AM. I had no choice but to retrieve my car. Frustrated, I called Audi Long Beach and they guaranteed me a rental on Thursday (18DEC25). Hopefully, I don't run into the same issue. If i don't, looks like my Etron GT and Q5 will now be serviced in Long Beach as I can trust their service representative to give accurate information. read more
