Tried this place for the first time while in Windham. It's just a take out spot no place to sit down. You have to order online or go in an order. You can't order over the phone. Great prices for what you get. Any of their burritos are what you should order. So much food and great! Overall really good Mexican place!

It really was decent. We had two orders of soft tacos. Delicious. The young people behind the counter and in the kitchen were absolutely great. It was a toss up for a future visit, but then I saw on X what the owner thinks about me, and frankly 85% of the town of Windham where the business is located. No thanks. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

About half way eaten "Vegarritto" (vegan burrito)

5 star burrito! They have a fully vegan burrito called the "Vegarrito" it's huge and delicious, they did mess up just once and added sour cream but all is forgiven! Service is usually friendly! In a great location with picnic tables outside, attractive aesthetically and short order to eat time! I'm so grateful they're vegan friendly! You can order specific options on menu or build your own tacos, burrito or bowl too, all customizable, fresh and made right in front of you! Large portions! Plenty of options for sides and drinks too. My favorite Mexican place! Options for everyone! Been here countless times and it's always so satisfying! Good value; I would recommend to anyone! They also offer online ordering, enjoy!

The item on the right is obviously not the burrito I ordered.

I normally love Luchador and come here frequently. Tonight I placed a to go order for my family, drove 30 minutes to get my order and another 30 minutes home. That's when I realized that I did not get what I ordered. When I called the store, they told me I had to bring my food back to the store in order to have anything fixed. The problem, it's a 30 minute drive and it was 7:45 when we realized the problem. They close at 8. I'm definitely not doing take out again.

I am obsessed with this place! Food is consistently delicious & comes out quickly. Everything tastes very fresh, definitely try the guacamole!

I went to Luchador Tacos with my mom and aunt located on 781 Roosevelt Trail in Windham, ME. This spot features a great array of classic tacos, burritos and bowls with a California twist. For starters we got their version of nachos! These had nacho cheese sauce, house marinated steak, roasted green tomatillo sauce, and sour cream. I wished these came with more toppings but overall were decent if you are looking to satisfy your cheese fix 6/10. For main dishes we got the taco sampler which had three different tacos. One taco had steak and cilantro/onion, another taco had pork with pickled onions, and finally the americano taco which had chicken cheese pico de gallo and red hot sauce. I loved that you could get a variety of tacos in one plate! They also came with rice and beans-this was an overall great meal 8/10. We also got the classic Luchador Burrito this is their signature east LA version burrito that started it all. It had hand cut marinated carne asada, mexican rice, pinto beans, cilantro/onion mix, red hot sauce. This was the star dish of the evening! This had the perfect amount of spice and satisfied all my taste buds. I want to come back to this spot and try their steak burrito or their cowboy burrito (this one comes with french fries) and you really can't beat the price for the amount of food they give you 8/10. For dessert we got their churros. There were a ton of these for just $6 and had the perfect amount of sugar 8/10. Check out luchador tacos if you are visiting Maine or NH and need something good to eat for a really awesome price! Food: 8/10 Affordability: 9/10 Ambiance: 8/10

LUCHADOR TACOS HORRIBLE DRY TACO SAMPLER WITH VIRTUALLY NO PROTEIN PRESENT (ALL FILLERS) WINDHAM, ME.

This place leaves a lot to be desired both in food quality and customer service. I dined in for lunch with a friend. I ordered the Taco Sampler (3 tacos of Carne Asada, Carnitas, and Chicken ($12), accompanied with black beans and rice. The Taco Sampler came with a total of 9 soft tortillas!!! Talk about overkill with the ridiculous amount of tortillas. The scant amount of meat in all 3 tacos combined barely filled 2 tortillas! The Carne Asada was tough and overcooked. The chicken was bland and rubbery. The carnitas was dry and flavorless. The rice was so dry, rendering it inedible. The black beans were bland, overcooked and dry. My friend ordered a Chicken Burrito(12$), except it was all filler with only a few pieces of chicken. She said her burrito was exceptionally bland. This was one disappointing dining experience. I complained to the older guy at the counter about both the lack of proteins in our meals, and the lack of flavor in both dishes. He stated "oh that's too bad, maybe the kitchen had a bad day." What kind of answer is that??? Worst customer service ever!! My friend and I were in disbelief at such a rude and cavalier response by an employee!! I spent $25 + tax and both of us left Luchador Tacos hungry. With both horrible food and horrible customer service there is no need for anyone to patronize Luchador Tacos. Avoid at all costs!

Saw the chipotle grill near by and went to it only to find out it is not opened. Some of these locations I will not go to because they are unpredictable in their hours and quality of foods. I then looked for an alternative and was glad I found Luchador tacos. Their tacos bowl are smaller in size than Chipotle but their food is just as good if not better in taste. I got the Luchador nachos to share and it was delicious. It was my alternative pick as the carne asada fries was not available because of Christmas Eve not having fries in stock . The nachos chips I ordered was smothered in nachos cheese which was not salty . Often times these cheese sauce is. The pieces of steak added to the nachos was fresh and well seasoned. They also added a green salsa which was equally good and a generous serving of sour cream on the side . Overall I will definitely order again and looking forward to trying other stuff on the menu. I will frequent this place because the foods and ingredients are fresh and delicious. It is a mom and pop business and I will always support local family businesses.

Churros

Love that this is a similar style line up to Chipotle to build your own for fillings. You can see everything in front and then they also have a menu where there's some pre built with descriptions underneath if you don't feel like building your own. Inside is small, but they do have some tables off to the side you can sit at. The churros were delicious and loved the quesrito idea (2 flour tortilla with cheese melted in the middle used as the burrito wrap). I'm not a huge fan of corn tortilla as they break easily, but they did give me 2 and they were really tiny for my taco. My burrito was huge and very filling with generous amounts. The service was very friendly and everything came out at reasonable time and prices. They have a variety for rice, salsas, and meat to pick from too.

Not only did the burnt crust eliminate any fish flavor, that's all we could taste for the rest of the day. Both of us started getting stomach pains on our long drive home and were ill for the rest of the night, unable to eat dinner. We don't know if it was caused by the burnt fish or the coleslaw we only took a few bites of. We are new to the area and drove 45 minutes just to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, the positive reviews and photos on Yelp were only of breakfast, not lunch. The breakfasts that were still being ordered at noon did look good. And staff was friendly and attentive. We considered sending the burnt food back but didn't want to wait another 40 minutes to have it replaced. And the "no whining" sign was not encouraging. So we risked a bad experience and paid a terrible price by eating slivers of a meal that should never have been allowed to leave the restaurant kitchen. Two stars is very generous on our part.

Well the chicken burrito supreme was supposed to be no beans extra sour cream. Well I got no sour cream and extra refried beans. The second order was a K7. The chicken tasted burnt. The Oil has just sat there too long at too high of a temperature. The coleslaw I got was sour no date on it. The macaroni and cheese was all dried out and crusty. My dog loved it the mashed potatoes and gravy had a really weird taste. I ended up feeding my dogs KFC. After spending $33 and not being able to eat it. I'm pissed. A great experience - food and service!…read more Parking - It can be tricky and because there are other businesses nearby, please be very careful to not park in reserved spaces - some are labled and some are not. A friend had parked and a salon worker came out to inform her it was reserved parking. We arrived mid morning on a Sunday before "tourist season" and we were seated pretty quickly. As Jeff D mentioned - It's cozy in here. It's smaller dining area with a combination of low tops and high top tables. It only felt crowded once a large party of above average sized guys came in...I think they were 8 - They were football player sized guys, With that said, we were able to squeeze by them when we left. I had to get a table pancake (shared) based on the yelp photos and descriptions people had shared. It was fluffy and delicious. Was well cooked, not overcooked or undercooked. The breakfast plates are great. Yummy potatoes, next time, I am going to try the regular homefries. The bread....YUM...it's housemade!!! Great portions, great price and great service! When I'm in the area, during non-tourist season, I look forward to visiting again!

I will also say knowing this is a sports bar like spot I didn't have the highest expectations to begin with. Which I appreciate when a spot surprises me and blows those expectations out of the water. That did not occur here! It was our second choice for dinner tonight due to our first spot having a wait. So firstly for a positive I will say Deck House does have ample parking and lots of space for people to eat so that's a plus. Also if you are looking for a classic sports bar vibes with many tvs on the walls and plenty of bar seats this may be your spot to catch a game with friends. Overall for our experience service was slow, they were friendly it just took a long time for food and other tables received their food much faster after shorter waits. My wife got the Braised Beef Short Rib and it was cooked well and was extremely tender, she enjoyed it very much. I got the Lobster Mac which was good but much smaller than I expected and some lobster pieces were tough due to their large size. Our meals and then two margaritas which were decent were almost $100. We did get some of the more expensive meals off the menu but I do believe for the price we could get better food elsewhere. I'm glad we tried it but nothing would be worth revisiting for. Hopefully if you visit you have a better experience!

I seriously can't wait to go back. Located in Windham and next to a go-kart + mini-golfing spot, odds are you've also driven by this restaurant. The views from the deck are spectacular, and I can't wait to go back during the fall foliage season. The indoor space is also lovely -- it feels like a giant cabin! We loved the vibe: it's cozy, lowkey, and casual, which is precisely what we were looking for. The service was excellent from the minute we walked inside. The hostess was accommodating when we asked to sit at a different table (better views!), and our waitress was kind and constantly checking on us. The menu was more extensive than we expected. They have it all -- an impressive starters section, plenty of pub/tavern food, and even dinner plates. They also had a full cocktail menu (all reasonably priced), plenty of local beers, and wines. We had the strawberry margarita with jalapeño-infused tequila ($10), and it was delicious (albeit a bit small for a marg, but it was also only ten bucks). Our burgers ($18) were great, but unfortunately, a bit overcooked. The fries were just okay, nothing to write home about, and portion-wise, smaller than what we expected. We also ordered their four-cheese macaroni as a starter, and that was delicious! Overall, however, we enjoyed our time and can't wait to return!

We came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, expecting it to be packed. It was actually pretty quiet and service was exceptional. There were a couple of drink specials that we had to try - a Mexican Espresso Martini with honey tequila and cinnamon simple syrup and a spicy pineapple margarita. Both were amazing. Chips were warm and salsa was good. After we ordered, the food came out quick - shockingly so. Both my chicken tamale and Chile relleno were smothered in this amazing red sauce with nice chile flavor. The relleno had a very satisfying cheese pull and reminded me of what I used to get in Southern California. The chicken in the tamale was a little dry, but I used the red sauce to solve that problem real quick. The dish that I was a little disappointed in was the birria taco - the consomme was very oily and didn't have that depth of flavor that you expect from this dish. There also wasn't nearly enough cheese. The braised beef inside was very very tender and tasty, though. The Pollo Sinaloense - a thinly pounded and breaded chicken breast topped with chorizo and cheese - was unique and delicious, and nicely balanced with a little salad and Spanish rice. The restaurant itself is bigger than it looks from the outside and the booths are nice and comfy. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. They seem to have a great happy hour and a huge menu, so we can't wait to return to try some more!
