    Americano iced
    Danny L.

Friendly service and good coffee. I appreciated the quick chit chat about coffee and matcha with the manager. He was super accommodating and always had a genuine smile during our conversation. I ordered an Americano. It's about what you expect from a medium to dark roast! I like how the location is within an HEB. Super convenient way to enjoy a quality drink while shopping. Because it's within a grocery store though, you don't really get that coffee shop feel or vibe (though understandably, that's not why people would go to this location). If you feel like getting caffeinated before shopping at HEB, Katy Mills, visiting Dig World, etc., come stop by! They have other specialty coffee drinks with flavors that you may enjoy!

Ok- my review is due for an update. I feel like they now have staff in place that is golden. They're super friendly and efficient. After our 2 years going here, they know our names, even when we call on. Once you go here, you won't be able to do those large chains. It's simple ingredients, but soooo good! My only wish, they opened a little earlier. Some of those early mornings on the road I have to skip coffee here because they don't open until 6:30am.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST LOCATION! Customer service is on point! They always ask how your day is and just hold a conversation. You aren't a number here but a person they want to get to know. I pass 2 other locations to come to this one when heading out of town. And as always, coffee and food is always delicious!!

not bad for a coffee shop inside of a grocery store :) The staff was super nice and offered honest input. They worked with me on level of sweetness to make sure I was happy with my selection. I was really interested in the black drinks as that is their signature but was a little bit disappointed in how gritty they drinks were.

Coffee is so good! I got the Iced Montblanc (charcoal powder, cocoa nibs, vanilla, milk, espresso) and til this day I am still thinking about this coffee. It's not too sweet, and you can still actually taste the coffee. My husband got the Iced Caramel Macchiato and he said the same thing! The caramel wasn't overpowering the coffee. We also got some fresh coffee beans to grind at home and one of the workers had recommended the Pan Pacificopeia which are the exact beans they use for their drinks. I will say, even the beans are exceptional! Will be returning whenever we're back in town!

Luce has some of the best coffee in Houston, and their menu is incredible. I love the creativity in their drinks. Staff here is so friendly, and I got a really good recommendation, which I believe is the island latte. I love the coconut milk taste, and it was very well balanced and creamy.

    That's sediment tho.

Interesting placement of this establishment tucked along an entry/exit way of a super market. $5+ for 16oz is pretty average rate for standalone spots like this. Coffee was generally okay. Good flavor. Just enough cream/half and half. What I didn't like was all the coffee sediment at the bottom.

100% recommend. From being greeted to enjoying my order. It's a cute location inside of HEB packed with lots of flavor. I came in wanting to try something different abf I got just that plus it was delicious. Check out some of my photos

California Dreamin (hibiscus lemonade) White Mocha Latte iced

I didn't realize this was here, but hidden gem! The California Dreaming Lemonade was Amazing Its house made lemonade not store bought The iced white mocha latte was good once you stirred it up. Its pretty but you gotta mix it. I used oatmilk and it was better than Starbucks! So creamy and smooth. They had samples of the Island Coffee and it was good too! Prices are not bad - $5 for lemonade, and $6 for coffee (plus $0.90 for milk alternative) I will definitely be back to try the Texas Rising (grapefruit & lemonade) Young lady behind the counter seemed to really like her job, had good knowledge base as we asked a lot of questions about each drink. I like how they have pictures to help you decide instead of a list of names. Im very visual and that's what caught our attention for the lemonade. Hipster coffee shop vibe, but simple and grab and go style. Not somewhere you hang out for hours.

What a surprise to see a coffee shop inside HEB especially a small local cafe. Glad to support local businesses. I got the "cream americano" iced and it tasted great! The people were very nice and it looked very neat and pretty. They also had breakfast tacos, pastries and kolaches (Texas sized haha) looked delicious!

Wow, I was impressed with the Mountblac coffee that I got. What a cool place with lots of different drinks! They have Matcha too! I love how it's inside H-E-B. The staff was super friendly and took the time to explain the drinks for me. The drink looks so pretty and even better. It tasted amazing, see my expectations. I would come back!

    Steph B.

Super good coffee and very pleasant baristas. I wish they had this inside my H‑E‑B!! I had a cappuccino and enjoyed it while shopping. After check out I had to return and complement the two ladies working here in their great attitude and coffee.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The Dubai crepe was super rich and creamy and nice large portion size. The strawberry mousse cake was frozen solid, so I was not able to eat it right away but it was a lovely mousse with jelly fruit filling and a thick chocolate crust. Also got a bag of chocolates, which are weighed by the pound. The only qualm I have is that the chocolates are not labeled, so when you mix them all together, it truly is a bit of a Russian roulette on what you'll get. Everything was super yummy. Will definitely need to be back!

It was my first visit--I ordered an almond milk cappuccino, an iced banana bread latte, and a chocolate croissant (note: the full kitchen opens an hour after the shop). Both drinks were fantastic--well balanced, and the banana bread latte really tasted like its namesake without being overly sweet. The croissant was average, though I appreciated the smaller size compared to the oversized ones you usually see. The barista was knowledgeable and genuinely engaged with customers, which made the experience stand out. One downside: the Wi-Fi was slow, even when it wasn't busy, so I ended up using my phone hotspot. I'd come back to try the matcha and explore more of the food menu.

Given that weve had to give up so much in the coffee drinking experience we try and get what we do consume to taste as fresh as possible so weve turned to getting our decaf beans roasted locally. Weve tried a couple of places in Houston and just recently came across District Coffee. Once we checked their website and made sure it was swiss water processed and not bathed in paint stripper chemicals we decided to give them a try... the head roaster Alex is a humble guy who has a family operated business near the 249/Cypress area. I drove out to the District headquarters to pick up a pound of decaf and Alex gave me a tour around the facility which was modest, but professional. Before i left, Alex asked about the reason for decaf and i explained that we mix it with regular to create a half caff blend and with that he walked over to a bin in the shop and pulled out an additional bag of whole bean half caff blend of their signature roast and said it was "on the house" since i had come all the way out from the Sugar Land area. Wow. Now that was unexpected and also very nice considering gas costs near four bucks these days. We just had a pour over cup of that this morning and it was very, very smooth. If the regular whole bean decaf is anywhere close to the smoothness of this signature half caff roast we will most likely add District coffee to our regular rotation of coffees for our morning routine. Thanks Alex. Good luck to you and your family and we'll spread the word about your brand. Take care.

This is a great place to come study or do work on your computer. Some tables have outlets too. The service was good. No complaints. I came here because I heard their matcha is good. Each matcha is $8.5. They claim to use ceremonial grade matcha but under the matcha latte list, there is only one drink labeled CG (ceremonial grade) while others do not. The CG is the basic and they use agave for sweetening. They also don't hand mix per cup. It is pre-batched. I'm not a pre-batch hater although I do prefer each cup to be hand mixed, so I will give it a chance if it tastes good. The CG latte was surprisingly smooth and pretty good! Not bitter at all imo, but it was slightly grainy. They used the perfect amount of agave to balance. It wasn't sweet either. Just perfect balanced flavor for a regular CG matcha latte. The other matcha latte I ordered was the banana. It is SO GOOD! A lot grainier than the CG, though. But I would definitely order that again if I come to Katy. It has a cinnamon flavor in it (probably why it felt grainier than CG) and mixed with the banana flavor was just very yummy. Highly recommend!
