I had an excellent experience with this electrician and highly recommend him…read more Out of all the contractors I've worked with, he was by far the most detailed and considerate. He took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, which gave me a lot of confidence in the work being done. I also compared estimates from multiple companies, and his pricing was very reasonable--especially considering the quality of work and level of service he provides. On top of that, he was extremely clean, organized, and efficient throughout the entire process. It's rare to find someone who combines professionalism, transparency, and craftsmanship this well. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for future projects.

After getting over a half dozen estimates for having an EV charger installed, I went with Cee for…read morethe install. I received quotes from a lot of the top Yelp reviewed electricians and man, even the top rated guys will try and upsell and overcharge. I chose a charger capable of load managing the output during charging, so you won't necessarily be using all 48amps at a time depending on your house's current draw. That allows you to avoid costly panel upgrades. Even after explaining this to all the other electricians who I got quotes from, most of them still tried to upsell. I got one quote for $13,000 to install my EV charger from a well rated 5 star Yelp electrical company. Cee understood right away and was experienced with the Emporia charger. He worked with me on everything I needed, showed up on time and did the job quickly and cleanly. He dealt with the permits and inspection as well. I consider myself pretty handy and do quite a bit of DIY, I trust Cee and his honesty in the work he did and what he charged. That's tough to find in tradesmen and what makes him so valuable. I will be looking to Cee for any more electrical projects I have moving forward. Thanks again Cee!!!

Needed an emergency service as I was getting a leak two days before Thanksgiving. Candis made sure I was first on the call list the next day (today, the day before thanksgiving). And Mary followed through to connect me to Wayne who was simply put - the Superman of plumbers! He quickly diagnosed the problem and strongly recommended that we replace the supply line and braided hose both of which were corroded and failing. In less than an hour, I was up and running with confidence. He also gave me a recommendation on what toilet to buy to replace the old one I have. The professionalism of Wayne and the team at Beacon (Candis and Mary) was fantastic!! I haven't done it yet, but plan on joining there preventive maintenance service of $180 a year. Thanks again "Team Beacon"!! 5+ services

$345 for a breaker reset. Beacon's pricing turned my stomach in knots. My elderly mother recently…read morehad her hot water tank replaced, and the plumber tripped a breaker in the process. I called Beacon to check it out. The electrician arrived a day later, probed the water heater momentarily, then unhooked a small tie-clip and flipped the breaker back on. The whole visit lasted maybe eight minutes. When I called the office to pay, the admin told me the "diagnostic and reset" would cost $345.16. Let me be clear that I fully expect to pay professionals for their time. But this wasn't an emergency nor was it same-day service, it was mid-afternoon on a weekday, and the electrical panel was right in the open. No parts need, and no special access required. Even if they billed me for a full hour that's fine, but charging $345 for a basic switch reset feels dishonest and wildly inflated. I'd strongly recommend getting quotes elsewhere before you let them through the door.

So, I first want to start off by saying that every single technician/expert that has provided…read moreservice to us has been FANTASTIC! Fullstop. This review is based on recent experiences with customer service representatives/admin folks. So it was during calls to the main number, and we reside in Virginia. We recently had a very expensive repair for a hot water heater that severely damaged our circuit breaker box. So the techs came out, did their thing and were phenomenal. However, in order for us to submit the repairs for reimbursement with our home warranty company, we require an itemized invoice. As per the egregiously rude phone reps we have encountered, there is a company policy against itemized invoices. Like, WHAT!?! I have never experienced anything like it in the history of working with service providers. There is always an itemized invoice. However, that in itself is not the issue. First, my spouse spoke to someone who said that it is only possible to obtain by escalating to a manager. So we waited and attempted to follow-up. Each time after we both tried to follow-up, we encountered some of the rudest, most unprofessional individuals on the line. Not to mention, AGAIN, how does it make sense that you are doing work of this magnitude and cannot produce an invoice that breaks down parts and labor!?! I am certain that this isn't the first time in history that the company encountered this kind of request when customers are dealing with insurances and warranty companies. It is wholly disappointing, when you consider that the individuals in the field doing the labor intensive work can be overshadowed by the policies of the company. I literally have no idea what to say at this point, but that we will be transitioning to Michael & Son's or another provider. Because who wants to pay this kind of money to be mistreated on the backend for something as simple as an itemized invoice. Such a shame!
