I had an appointment at 4 pm and they took me right on time. They also checked my tire air pressure. It was about $100 for the oil change.

Super quick! Very friendly as well :) they were able to get me in for an oil change right away!

Great service. Filled to the top of the full line and I got the compression gasket/spacer back as asked for.

I came to get an oil change here and was very satisfied with the service. Zach helped me out. His customer service and knowledge of cars is top tier. I'm not from the area and needed some work done on my car, he recommended Specialty Foreign Auto and I was very satisfied with their customer service and care. Whenever I'm in the area I will bring my car here. They're knowledgeable, kind, considerate, and very affordable. read more

These guys were great. They understand the concept of customer service and seemed fairly knowledgeable. I showed up a few minutes before my appointment to check in and they had my vehicly pulled into the garage within five minutes. They said it would take an hour and a half to change multiple fluids and they were spot on. These guys are a bit more expensive than the drive through places but the quality is much better. read more

when in town I take my car here to get an oil change. Great service, always going over and above. Reasonable prices as well. Today Zack was my mechanic, he provided excellent service. read more

Amazing customer service! I called 30 minutes before to see if they had any slots open to check the liquids of my car and they did! I did not wait long at all and was greeted by the tall man with a beard (I forgot to ask his name and I feel terrible about it). He inspected my car and told me everything was great after adding some air in my tires and cooler fluid. He was very kind and attentive! I would recommend this place highly. read more

Very fast and easy to set up appointments. Nice people behind the counter, they've never let me down would highly recommend !!

Super great place! I called and got an appointment the next day. I showed up early and they got me right into the service bay. Twenty minutes later I was done and out the door. The whole thing cost less than my car dealership oil change and they vacuumed the interior of my car. Nice people, great service! read more

BEST OWNER EVER!! OLD SCHOOL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! ABOVE AND BEYOND!! I just bought a car for my daughter and was told it needed nothing. After driving for 24hrs it was burning and leaking oil. Took into Lube Central the same day and Tom the owner went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me figure out what was happening. He found an axel bearing housing luckily in a plastic under pan and greased it up and reinstalled. He topped everything off including the differential which is what was leaking due to axel and made sure everyting was good. He told me his recommendation and I went from having an ulcer to feeling much better!! THANK YOU TOM I WILL NEVER GET MY OIL CHANGED ANYWHERE ELSE AGAIN!!! read more

I love coming here! The staff is nice and you can't beat their prices. I will come here as long as I'm in the area.

Passing thru during short stop to Redwoods National Park and needed an oil change. Lube Central had great reviews so we made appointment. The new owner was fantastic! He mentioned the air filter had not been properly installed and he was fixing it. I had last oil change at dealership and am disappointed they did not do a great job. He was very personable and showed great personal interest and customer service. Great price also on our F250 Diesel oil change. Would highly recommend! read more

Off Central avenue, behind the CVS is the best oil and filter change service in McKv. these fine folks have been around since 1997 providing a fast, friendly, quality service for all your vehicles oil and lube needs. Along with a few other vehicle service maintenances. Lube Central is usually pretty busy most days so making an appointment is highly recommended if not necessary. I've always been able to schedule an appointment for the next day or even late on the same day if it's not to busy. Monday's and Friday's are also the busiest days of the week here as this shop is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Our most recent trip, called on Monday for a Tuesday afternoon appointment - dropped the car off at the designated time, went right across the street and grabbed a cold drink and snack - literally by the time I finished I looked up and they were pulling my car out of the bay - all told in under 30 minutes. The best FAST oil and filter service in town and a great local business behind the Redwood curtain... 4.5 stars - rounded up for fast, friendly service. 00371 read more

Thank you for the great service and car care, I like to support local businesses. Always kind and they vacuumed out your car!!!! Love these guys read more

Great service! They were super nice on the phone, got me an appointment quickly, and were very sweet when interacting with face to face. The only bummer was seeing a Trump "keeping America great" bumper sticker on the company truck, but oh well. This is Oklahoma in the ocean, so not everything can be perfect. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for years to get oil changed in our cars. Love the employees, they are always on top of it and have excellent customer service! read more

These guys are great, fast, and honest and won't try to upsell you things you don't need. Trustworthy.

Went for an oil change, it was quick, easy, and they topped off all my fluids. Extremely nice staff, and the mechanic noticed a leak in my transfer case and did not charge me extra for topping it off. I was worried when he mentioned a leak, and asked what he thought about my upcoming trip across a few states. He gave some great advice, will def be back here again! read more

I brought my 2004 Tacoma in this week to get all the fluids exchanged - well Tom the owner said "Let me check them first" and he personally showed me they didn't need to be changed and let me see the actual fluids. A real honest nice guy. He even lubed my u joints! Well then he said he wasn't going to write it up and I said I should give you something for the 25 minutes he spent on my truck. So I gave him a tip and told him he gave me some piece of mind as we have a place in the mountains east of here with big snows lately so I use the 4WD a lot. I change my own oil so I don't use them for that but I highly recommend this place. This owner is honest and has integrity. 5 stars!! read more

Lube Central is quick and thorough! I got in right on schedule. They vacuum my car and give me a 'report card' of sorts on the maintenance of my car. They're clean and friendly. I was in and out within 20 minutes! Thanks guys! read more

Here's where i get my oil changed. They're very nice, quick, and don't try to sell you what you don't need. Make an appointment, and get a coupon from the tri-city weekly (available online too). I drop my car off and go get lunch at the pizza place, or check out the conscious home store. minus one star for being a little bit pricy for an oil change ($29 with the coupon). read more

I have been taking all of my vehicles to Lube Central ever since they first opened and have never been dissatisfied with their service... friendly, efficient, and thorough. They let you know whenever they spot a problem (worn belt, oil leak, etc.) and never ding you for something you don't really need. The only drawback is that they don't have any weekend hours, but, hey, this is a locally owned and operated business and everyone deserves a break! If you go there, tell Tom that "Wayne sent you." read more

Lube Central - Oil Change Stations Near Me - McKinleyville, California

Company was open until 6 (apparently), so I called 2hrs ahead and reserved a time at 5 for a simple oil change. I was driving up from LA and got caught in Eureka traffic so arrived at 5:15 only to be told they had shut down already. I checked my watch, checked their stated hours, but wasn't going to fight with someone who was about to work on my car behind closed doors. I accepted they would rather inconvenience a reserved customer in order to get out 45min earlier. Would not recommend. read more

Nice staff, quick oil changes, simple and sweet. You need to call ahead, it is not a jiffy lube but most of the time they can get you in the same day or shortly after. read more

Great little waiting room and the friendliest staff. The guy was helpful in explaining to me what exactly he did and even offered me advice for any further complications that could arise. I got an appointment same day, but I called right when they opened. I won't take my car anywhere else for an oil change. read more

Amazing!! Really, how can a oil change place be amazing?.? I know, crazy right but they are. They know a lot and don't mind teaching a guy a little if time allows. Go to these guys and you won't be disappointed. read more

I took my car here a few weeks ago because I was looking for a place we could take the car for regular oil changes in McK. Their waiting area is small, but they have a nice salt water fish tank that entertained my son while we waited. They were very quick and did not try to convince my car needed additional services (something that sometimes happens to me when I take the car to these types of places). The price was even a little cheaper than the place we used to go in Eureka. We will be bringing the cars back. read more

I've never written a review before but had to after coming here. I had the best oil change experience of my life. I arrived a little early for my appointment and wasn't expecting to be seen til then, but I was out the door in about 20 minutes. My air filter was embarrassingly bad so they asked if I wanted it changed but put zero pressure on me to do so. They even showed me the new one they were putting in so I'd know exactly what I was getting. They also top off all fluids that need it and fill the tires. What I paid was the same as I paid previously at a place in eureka for only the oil change, no air filter replacement and that place took two hours. Lube central is an incredibly helpful and courteous business. I'm never going anywhere else for as long as I'm in the area. read more

Great place to get your oil changed. They keep their appointment times on schedule and work swiftly.

My boyfriend referred me to Lube Central, I'll come back again, it only took an hour for them to change my oil (they topped off all of my other oils, and filled my tires..awesome), and they told me what was wrong with my car. The price was reasonable too(: good service. I dig the aquarium too. read more

The day before we were going to be leaving for a Thanksgiving road trip, the oil change light came on for our C-Max. I usually do my own oil changes but due to time and weather, I wasn't going to be able to get it changed before we left. On my way to work I noticed Lube Central tucked behind Miller's Farm. I went down at noon thinking it was like the other quick change places and no appt was necessary. I found out they were, but they were able to squeeze me in that afternoon. Work was done quickly and best of all no upswell. I will definitely go back if I need another emergency oil change. read more

Amazing great service! They have always addressed all my concerns and questions for past 6 years. They don't push any add ons and are completely honest about your car needs. Just like many I don't give out too many reviews but my service on 10/7/16 was absolutely wonderful. Scott helped me find the answer to my weird vent smell and was willing to double check my car after he had already done so. I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality service. read more

I've been coming here for the past few years every time my car needs an oil change. They are fast, friendly, and don't try to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need. They will top off any low fluids and let you know if they spot any problems like a leak. This place has pretty much restored my faith in places that just do oil and fluids. I can't recommend them enough. read more

My oil change was so fast, I couldn't believe they actually did anything. But they did! And they were quick to get me out and didn't try to push other products on me, or tell me "X fluid is low" when I know how to check them myself. read more

Ive been taking my truck here every 3000 miles for years. The service is quick and professional. Their waiting room is small, but comfortable. No matter what time my appointment is (early or late), or how busy they are, they are profiscient, friendly, and helpful. Most importantly: they have made me aware of small potential issues with my vehicle, but never tried to "up-sell me" on services (important, as I know close to nothing about cars). Highly recommend. read more

I recently took my car to Lube Central for a much overdue oil change on the recommendation of a friend. The experience was wonderful, I was in and out in about 10 minutes (I had an appointment), and everyone I talked to was very friendly and helpful. They did not try to sell me ANYTHING besides my oil change... I was shocked. The stellar service is even worth the drive from Eureka, I definitely recommend it. read more

Great and friendly people working there very professional. I have had no trouble with this place what so ever. I bought a toy truck a while back and had them change all the fluids, including gear boxes and the price was reasonable. 5 stars :D read more
