Lynda's is a drive-up shack very similar to the coffee huts in Anchorage. It's super convenient and super tasty. Could be the most authentic Mexican food in all of Charlevoix. They offer a full menu of choices and the portion size to dollar ratio is fair. They move pretty quick, so your through the line and on your way to enjoying this treat...fast fast fast. They're a very pleasant family. Happy to make it your way. The smoker behind the building is a nice touch. The result is aroma sensational! Yet again, best Mexican cuisine in charlevoix and state!!! Barbacoa burrito and tacos were excellent. The meat was seasoned to perfection and was so tender I barely had to chew. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it. The hot sauce is truly hottttt, makes you rethink your life it's so hot (and later too if you know what I mean lol). The tacos were served with cilantro, onion, and lime... to die for. I will continue to give all my money to this fine establishment. read more

Ordered a chicken burrito and the chicken was extremely dry, almost hard. Flavor was meh at best and pretty bland actually. No real seasoning or spice and the salsa included on the side was just as tasteless. Food was prepared quickly and was nice and warm. Shocked at all the strong reviews. Maybe I was there on an off day or too close to closing (it was 45 minutes before their posted closing time). Based on this one experience I wouldn't recommend. read more

We came out to Lynda's tacos for dinner and they didn't disappoint at all. We tried the Chicken, steak, ground beef and 2 other beef and it was amazing! The service was great and quick and the location was easy to get in and out of. Will definitely be getting this again! read more

Lynda's tacos is beyond good! Sadly we get here once a year but it never disappoints. The three of us try something new every year and have not had one bad item yet! I had the veggie taco, Augh, I could eat these all day. The rice they serve is better than most sit down restaurants. Burritos are massive, filled with a ton of meat. Guacamole, yummmmmmmy!!!!!!!! I made the mistake of ordering chips and salsa as well. She gives you a huge container of chips and plenty of salsa. The three of us barely made a dent in it. We will be back again and again! It's one stop every year we look forward to. read more

This is not your ordinary fast food, yet it is truly food made fast. All the favorite Mexican dishes made from fresh ingredients (BBQ meats, made from scratch refried beans and salsa, etc) and served by friendly and efficient staff. The price seemed reasonable for the quality of food ($40 for two chicken burritos, two pork tacos a side of beans and two sodas) and we finished our meal feeling quite satisfied. The drive through is the restaurant with one picnic table outside to sit. Grab your food and find a park with a view to enjoy. read more

Solid place to check out in Charlevoix. It's located in a trailer truck in the middle of a parking lot and looks very unassuming. The food is cooked fresh outdoors. It's great to stop at for a quick meal. We ordered burritos and tacos and were all very happy with our choices. The barbacoa burrito in particular had flavorful and tender meat. Definitely recommend giving LTs a try. read more

We came upon this little gem purely by chance, after picking up some midweek groceries while on vacation. LT Tacos is the real deal, y'all. We ordered chicken tacos on flour tortillas and then a variety of steak and ground beef tacos on corn tortillas. These are authentic tacos with loads of flavor, fresh ingredients and homemade fresh & warm tortillas. My daughter got the steak salad, it was a large portion and delicious. We were super happy to find this treasure and will be stopping by again before heading home! read more

Nice place. Fast, and drive through. Hard to beat for an authentic experience. In an area without much diversity in food, we were excited to find this place. Portion sizes are kind of small so I'd suggest ordering at LEAST 3 tacos. Flavors were great! read more

After all the excellent reviews. I just had to try this place. Unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed. My beef race was excellent. However my steak fajita taco was not. I bit into 2 rock had pieces of what I'm guessing was grizzle. Not sure I want to risk another visit. read more

I found this place while cleaning my clothes. Thought was a choice hut. Only to read sign to notice tacos. Rub my hands together and said let's give it a try. Now I don't know of variety changes there is no sign with menu. Well I walked up so might be with drive thru side. There was 3 selection of meat to choose from and none being carne asada. So I was like hmmm. A taco place with out a regular choice? So I said ok there's ground beef not fan at what I can whip up at home or get at taco bell. There's chicken hmm pastor yes 2 and roast beef. Hmmm? Give it a try and might I say was pretty good. Kind soft but full flavor. Awesome thing was they gave me a little container of there homemade guac. So went along took it home. And devoured it. Now if for sele tion they have which is not a lot. It was tho very good and worth placing 5 stars and long story telling of my food tasting. read more

Now it's an eatery inside several rooms - a part of the largest distillery in Michigan. The BIG room, on a colored, swirling and polished cement floor is decorated with couches, picnic tables, a large screen for videos and corn-hole boards and other games. My spouse and I ordered a quesadilla filled with chicken, avocado, peppers. onions and cheese ($16). YUM. Prepared on a 10-inch tortilla, it was served with limey-tasting sauce of sour cream in a tiny ramekin. We picked it up at the window in the long hallway on the side of the distillery and ate at a picnic table with our bottles of Mexican Coke and Lime Jarrito in the big hall. Although the price is a bit more than we usually spend for a top-notch quesadilla, we probably will return for fish (cod) taco $6.00. The only major drawback is the distance between the parking area and the restaurant and distillery. It's up a myriad of steep steps, although there is a drop-off area near the building for those who are physically impaired.

I ended up getting the Vegan Crunch Wrap Royale and the Smoked Potato Taco and OMGEEEE...both were fiyah...and for those who don't know that means they were DELICIOUS ON TOP OF DELICIOUS!!! The flavors were on point and the portion size is plentiful and I had to get a to go box! My husband knows when I like my food because I do a "happy dance" and I was indeed dancing!! I've tried both vegan tacos and they were delicious, with slight preference on the smoked potato one. My husband had the chilaquiles taco and street taco delux, and he also enjoyed his. The only problem was that they are very small for the price, so it definetly didn't satisfy our hunger. W decided to split a vegan crunchwrap and that was the hit of the entire meal. Very good. Combined with one of the home made salsa, it was awesome. We also had a couple of beers, and this was a great but expensive meal. For that reason it won't be our frequent spot to visit.

Inside, a taco truck is in the corner and a bar is in the middle. There is also a really cool balcony area.

This is a wonderful place for quick and delicious Mexican fare. Everything is cooked on site. The burritos are sizable - the shredded beef is my favorite. And I love that the tortillas are grilled a bit to make them a tad crispy. The owner is always so nice to chat with. Look for the freestanding "drive thru" log building in the parking lot. read more

Eventually, drinks were dropped off, and the waiter said he would be right back to take our order. 45 minutes after that, we had to flag someone down to ask if we could place our order. Our waiter finally returned to take the order. AN HOUR LATER WE STILL WERE WAITING ON OUR FOOD, with no communication from the staff. No one had been by to update us, refill our waters or bring out the appetizer (guac) that had been ordered when first arrived. At this point, we had been at the restaurant for 2+ hours, and still no food. Had to flag down the waiter (again) to ask if they could just put it in to go boxes and if we could pay while we wait. 30 minutes later we had paid and STILL had not received our food. Wait staff and management offered no apologies or explanation, and actually was pushing us to stay and eat there even though we had spent more than 2.5 hours there with minimal interaction/assistance from the staff.

Now it's an eatery inside several rooms - a part of the largest distillery in Michigan. The BIG room, on a colored, swirling and polished cement floor is decorated with couches, picnic tables, a large screen for videos and corn-hole boards and other games. My spouse and I ordered a quesadilla filled with chicken, avocado, peppers. onions and cheese ($16). YUM. Prepared on a 10-inch tortilla, it was served with limey-tasting sauce of sour cream in a tiny ramekin. We picked it up at the window in the long hallway on the side of the distillery and ate at a picnic table with our bottles of Mexican Coke and Lime Jarrito in the big hall. Although the price is a bit more than we usually spend for a top-notch quesadilla, we probably will return for fish (cod) taco $6.00. The only major drawback is the distance between the parking area and the restaurant and distillery. It's up a myriad of steep steps, although there is a drop-off area near the building for those who are physically impaired.
