Exceeded my expectations! Didn't see these other reviews before going but when we heard about it we were excited to try it. Started with the house margarita and it was very good, well balanced flavors and not too sweet or a heavy pour. The chips and salsa are good, they use a fair amount of cilantro so if that is your jam you will enjoy the salsa. I enjoyed it personally. Ordered the cheese dip appetizer which didn't come but to be honest it was for the best. I had the cheese enchiladas with pork and they were sensational (pic). A bit atypical with the pork, onions and peppers on top but it was so flavorful! The queso they drizzle over it could be consumed by the bucket and the rice (and beans according to my wife) was great. I will say be careful of the plates, I swear they came right out of the kiln they were so hot! Saw another comment about a cold plate, well they certainly fixed that. Trust me be careful, especially if you have kids. But it kept the food super warm and was ideal for the queso drizzle. I liked the decor in the place, much nicer than the prior establishment that shall remain nameless. Seems like they have some things they are working out with some of the art on the ceiling and the lighting but overall it was a nice atmosphere with a balance of well lit and darker booths or tables. The staff is very friendly and helpful but you can tell they aren't super experienced. Not a problem, improvements come with time. Food came out fast was the star of the show. Short version: Absolutely terrible experience, customer service was simply nonexistent. Would not eat here again if it was the last establishment on the planet. Wish I could give 0 stars. Long version: We had a group of 8 (bachelorette party dinner), and called ahead to see if they could accommodate us. We were told they could seat us right away, that there would be no issue. We arrive and waited 10-15 minutes to be sat. Once we were sat at a table, we waited 20 minutes before someone came to take our drink order. Eventually, drinks were dropped off, and the waiter said he would be right back to take our order. 45 minutes after that, we had to flag someone down to ask if we could place our order. Our waiter finally returned to take the order. AN HOUR LATER WE STILL WERE WAITING ON OUR FOOD, with no communication from the staff. No one had been by to update us, refill our waters or bring out the appetizer (guac) that had been ordered when first arrived. At this point, we had been at the restaurant for 2+ hours, and still no food. Had to flag down the waiter (again) to ask if they could just put it in to go boxes and if we could pay while we wait. 30 minutes later we had paid and STILL had not received our food. Wait staff and management offered no apologies or explanation, and actually was pushing us to stay and eat there even though we had spent more than 2.5 hours there with minimal interaction/assistance from the staff. read more

This is kind of a tough review for me. I am thankful that there is a nice Mexican restaurant at this location. My sister had a coupon for buy one meal get one 50% off. She chose three shrimp tacos and they were beautiful big slices of fresh avocado on top with rice. I chose one of my favorites from other restaurants called El Pastor. It is a pork with pineapple in the taco tacos. Of course, initially we were served chips and salsa. I would rather have a much thinner chip because they were real heavy and thick, but the salsa was five star easily. They put an effort in. Now, if they could warm it up a bit instead of serving an ice cold that would be nice even in the summer for me. But I'm sure some people enjoy the cold style. The chips we got were all broken up, so it was very hard to dip salsa with them. The waitress brought another basket that contained whole unbroken chips. As per the coupon, we both ordered iced tea. It was the strongest iced tea. I think I've ever had in my life. Very thick very dark and with refills there is no ice added so after my second glass, it was just the hard-core iced tea. My sister and I traded one taco so we could try it. I didn't really care for the shrimp taco. It had good flavor, but one bite of my El. Pastor taco proved this to be. A godly combination. There was one piece of grizzly fat, but I suppose that's kind of understandable considering they are pork. I would like to see some beef el Pastor Store in the future, but I don't think I've ever seen it added. The beans and rice were done to perfection. The service was impeccable. The problem is that I suddenly felt very sick. My head felt tingly and odd my tongue tangled, and I had to run to the restroom. Just being honest, I do have a peanut allergy and I have not yet questioned the restaurant, as if they used peanut oil or any type of peanut based substance. They did offer to symbols of different dressings with each dish. I barely used any of mine and I didn't use my sisters which accompanied her shrimp tacos. What I had experienced was the same type of situation as when I have any type of nut based food. I am allergic to not just peanuts but all nuts affect me. Then again, as I stated, perhaps it was the extremely strong iced tea, which I don't think I've ever had before except Thai tea in Bangkok. But that was a long time ago. It's not my favorite type of iced tea to be certain. This is a fairly new opening for a restaurant. They were not very busy but increased so as it got later toward dinner. The restaurant was very clean. Admittedly, I will always wonder what gave me the allergic or explosive reaction. It has not happened to me very often at a restaurant. I have to say that's part of the reason I gave three stars is because something was just wrong and I'm not able to put my finger on it. If one were to research my reviews, I have never left a review like this. All the same, without the owner contacting me to advise if any nuts or nut products were used in the meal, I would have to say I would be hesitant to go back, but at the same time it was delicious. Except for the one fatty piece of meat that bothered me in my tacos, I would say that everything was seasoned and prepared very well.. I thought not to leave a review until I ask the restaurant so I will contact them and ask if they use any peanut oil oils or products. One last thing about the receipt. My sister noticed that it was $43 and that there was some type of gratuity that it said Only was placed after six person dinner. We were a three person and her 50% discount was not applied. The waitress promptly took the receipt and when she brought it back, it was $10 less. It might be something to check out your receipt as I seldom do. Good luck in your venture, as I'm not sure if something was old, or just a little bit too strong on the iced tea, or Whether something else had further bothered me. If I go back again....... Addendum: I called the restaurant and asked if they had anything with nut or peanuts in any of their meals. The man, the answered the phone said "uh uh ...no." So I asked, are you sure? " yes in monotone." I said "because I have the same reaction as I tend to have with my peanut allergy and I'm sensitive to all nuts" Again, all he said was, "no." I was left, not entirely feeling that I had spoken with someone if you get my meaning. This restaurant might be off to a tough start, but I noticed that previously in reviews, someone said that the service was horrible, and I felt that our waitress was impeccably good. read more

Very fresh and delicious food. Friendly and attentive staff. We will definitely return.

They have no flavoring in their meat. It's just they opened up a can of sauce, dumped it on top and heated it up.

The service was good, one bright side, they do provide chips and salsa I had a $16 wet burrito, which had to be the smallest corn burrito (I didn't ask for a corn tortilla) have ever eaten, and not hot at all, which leaves me puzzled since most mexican places plates are very hot. I noticed a plate of Nachos at another table, and it was a smattering of chesses and meat.. Entree's are definitely overpriced for what is served, you can get more food at Taco Bell.
