Club sandwich on Texas toast.
Tomohisa W.

Food was ready within 10min after making order. Very filling sandwich with crispy bacon, tasty ham and crisp lettuce. Fun to switch from savory sandwich to sweet fruit to creamy egg and potato salad until it was all gone. Work from home is nice when you can get a great lunch so quick and easy.

The place is nice . Spacious and the Patio is a nice place to hangout when it is sunny. The place is laid back and it is full of people working and busy eith their computers. There is a lot of pastries and coffee choices. I loved the Chicken sandwiches. The Italian Soda was really good.

Cute little cafe with a delightful ambiance. Friendly staff served me a great everything bagel with vegan cream, lettuce and tomato

The veggie burrito I got was good, the ingredients were very fresh. My only issue is the burrito was not spicy enough, the salsa given with the burrito was mild. I also got a vanilla latte and it was made well. They used good coffee beans.

Small latte. Seems bigger than small

Walking by, I smelled something really good, I didn't have time to find out what it is or eat but it prompted me to get a latte. Usually I don't review latte but this latte is quite strong. I'm surprised to find such good latte at a Mexican Cafe.

Garden Club, fruit salad, potato salad.

Was in the area and stopped in for a sandwich. Got the garden club with a fruit salad and potato salad. Sandwich was good, potato salad was a little over-dressed, and the fruit was fresh and delicious. The staff were pleasant, decor is cute (especially the bathroom). As I was leaving, I smelled something cinnamon-y like French toast... smelled so good. A little expensive at $20 (i live in Sac, so that might just be a standard price for SF), but otherwise a nice little spot.

Iced chai latte

Great find in the neighborhood for a delicious lunch in a casual atmosphere. Order at the kiosk or the counter, easy to customize your order. Recommend the iced chai latte, Belgium waffles & BLTA sandwich. Large sandwich, ate half, and enjoyed the other half to-go. Slow service for food and coffee dining in, but very friendly staff. Check out the design of the restroom inside, fun aesthetic! Enjoyable, would return.

Chicken Pesto Sandwich

Ive been a loyal customer of their's for a while now- what keeps me coming back is the quality of food and great service. If I have time, I would go to L's caffe before work or during lunch; if I'm pressed on time I door dash to my workplace. My favs are the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and the Jalapeño cheese bagel w/ cream cheese. I had salads from here too and they do not disappoint.

In researching places near where we were staying, we learned about the Italian deli and shop. We were looking forward to stopping by to check out the store and grab lunch. The store itself is very cute and charming, full of so many items - fresh meats and cheeses, imported olive oils, pastas, desserts, wine, and liquor to name a few. There is an area where you can get coffee drinks and there is a deli area for ordering sandwiches, pizzas, specialty dishes, and salads. The variety of options is plentiful. I ordered an iced coffee beverage, which was great. My significant other and I ordered a sandwich to go, which we were splitting for a light lunch back at the hotel. The person helping at the counter was not very friendly or helpful with questions. We asked for our sandwich to be made on the Dutch Crunch bread, as we were looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, when we got back to the hotel, it turned out that the sandwich was made on a regular ciabatta roll, which was not fresh. Additionally, the sandwich was mostly mixed greens. For the price, I expected more meat. With so many great food options in San Francisco, it is likely we won't stop by on future visits to the City.

Portion size was perfect as well. The best sandwich I had in SF and one of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere. Service- I got here early as I knew the line would get long. I paid for 1 hour of parking and was lucky the meter maid didn't come by since it took about 1 hr 10 minutes including the 15 minute wait for the sandwich to be ready, and the walk over. I ordered their most famous sandwich, the 49er which is corned beef, pastrami, brisket, white American cheese, cherry peppers, coleslaw, 1000 island, board sauce, on a French roll. For $24 I was expecting a larger sandwich, it was only about 6" long. It's a good sandwich, I would rate it 4 stars, but honestly the coleslaw and cherry peppers didn't contribute enough to the flavor - it needed more tanginess. A positive was that they give you two pieces of pickles to help balance the flavors, but I would not order this sandwich again, nor would I go back to Deli Board since it wasn't worth the wait. Their Coke is in glass bottles which looked cool but not at all recommended for cars since it tipped over too easily.

Between the two, it was genuinely difficult to pick a favorite, a strong statement coming from someone who's particularly opinionated about her sandwiches. To be frank, this blows Deli Board out of the water. I'll find that sometimes sandwiches don't exceed the sum of their parts, but Dolores Deluxe does a wonderful job balancing ingredients and doesn't rely on any "dirty" sauce or "comeback" sauce or whatever indulgent sweet/spicy mayo-based concoction prefixed with whatever provocative adjective as many artisanal sandwich restaurants seem to do nowadays. It's simply an amalgam of fresh ingredients that speak for themselves. The Bergeron, for instance, includes pluots, American cheese, and a kohlrabi slaw, unique ingredients, sure, but used not in the name of gimmick but for sheer flavor. The owner is also super sweet, and I'm happy that people showed up in droves for the last day of this decently viral crab Rangoon sandwich. Will definitely be back for a Dolo sandwich picnic again.

And don't even get me started on their banana pandan pudding (okay, ALL their puddings are amazing) and chocolate chip cookie -- an absolute MUST. They also have some of the most unique snacks I've never even seen or heard of before! Ramsey is such an incredible chef and creator. You can tell how much thought and passion goes into everything. Honestly, some of these sandwiches could easily cost more considering the quality of the ingredients and craftsmanship, but they keep them so reasonably priced! If you're a foodie, you NEED to check this place out. Dolores Deluxe deserves all the love and recognition!
