Apparently its more than twice the floor space as their current location in Port Moody. They plan to open up a patio in the back of their location soon. As for their authentic Mexican food and service we would rate this place 10/10, only because it was a week day night and they've only been open 1 week in. They officially launch this August 28 with 1 free new flavored margarita with your meal. The bright decor and ambience was warm and inviting. It won't be long before this new location is shared with everyone. If you crave authentic Mexican food, this restaurant will meet or exceed your expectations.

Ambiance and Decor Si Senior Taqueria keeps things casual,…read morewith a laid-back, no-nonsense atmosphere that puts the focus squarely on the food. It feels like the kind of place where regulars come for their fix of hearty, well-executed Mexican comfort food. The space is inviting without being overdone--expect warm colors, rustic touches, and an unpretentious vibe that lets the food do the talking. Service Quality Service was efficient and friendly, as you'd hope from a family-run spot. Orders were taken quickly, and food arrived without unnecessary delays. It's not the kind of place where you expect white-glove service, but the staff makes you feel welcome, which is all you really need when you're here for the food. Menu Variety The menu sticks to Mexican classics, and that's exactly what you want. From tacos to enchiladas, everything is rooted in authenticity. The selection isn't overwhelming, but it covers all the essentials--just enough to satisfy cravings without feeling like they're stretching themselves too thin. Food Presentation Mexican food isn't about intricate plating--it's about bold, inviting dishes that make you want to dig in immediately. The enchiladas came smothered in sauce and cheese, exactly as they should be, while the shrimp taco was simple but well-constructed, balancing textures and flavors. Food Taste and Quality This is the kind of food that hits the spot when you're looking for something rich, cheesy, and satisfying. The al pastor enchiladas delivered that perfect mix of smoky, savory pork with a deep, flavorful sauce, all held together by gooey cheese. Meanwhile, the shrimp taco was a lighter counterpoint--fresh, well-seasoned shrimp wrapped in a soft tortilla with just the right amount of toppings. No unnecessary frills, just good, honest Mexican food made by people who know what they're doing. Portion Sizes Generous without being excessive--just enough to leave you satisfied without regret. The enchiladas were hearty, and the taco was a nice addition without tipping the meal into being too heavy. Price and Value For the quality and portion sizes, it's absolutely worth it. This is the kind of place where you can get a solid, filling meal without breaking the bank, making it an easy go-to for those craving good Mexican food in the Lower Mainland. Overall Experience and Recommendation Si Senior Taqueria delivers exactly what it promises: comforting, well-executed Mexican food that doesn't try to be anything it's not. It's not fancy, it's not reinventing the wheel--but it doesn't need to. The flavors are there, the portions are satisfying, and the experience is reliably good. Would I be back? Absolutely.

The ordering online process is great as you have the option to customize which as person with SERIOUS CILANTRO HATE is priceless. I got the notification that my order was ready like maybe 4 minutes after placing which again is a major plus because honestly who wants to wait for tacos??? So picking up the staff was friendly and I really really liked that they used proper taco takeout boxes. As frequent taco purchaser I cannot tell you how much proper packaging makes a difference when it comes to take out tacos. No big gooey mess and each taco is as perfect as it was meant to be. As a person who understands not everything has to be over the top complicated I enjoyed the simplicity and authenticity of these. Just meat, spices, red onion and lime. So delicious. They may not look like much but that would be an incorrect assumption. They are fabulous, in fact the cake back the very next day even though I live over an hour away just for round 2 of these beauties.

The food was delicious and portion sizes were pretty reasonable for price. We ordered the nachos to share between 6 people and we barely all finish it. We tried all of their tacos and our favourite with the deep fried fish! I also really enjoyed their brisket enchiladas and the new lamb quessabirria! We also ordered some churro which is delectable, didn't taste oily at all!! Since it was busy and we were a bigger group we were sat outside on the patio. Unfortunately that night was windy and the gap in the screen door made it pretty cold. We had 2 heaters which is great but unfortunately one of them ran out of propane. :(

Was in the neighbourhood and my boyfriend suggested this place as he used to go many years ago…read morewhile working on King George and when this restaurant was situated at its original location when it was a hole in the wall spot with plastic tables and chairs, plus a Mexican grocery store attached. We arrived around 7:45pm on a Saturday night and it was busy with a FIFA game on the TV. The staff were friendly and we got a table after they cleaned one for us. Really cute authentic Mexican joint run by friendly hard working Mexicans. Each table gets served complimentary chips with salsa, which was amazing. I asked how much to get an extra side of salsa and the waiter told me they don't sell it but for me, he'll get me another free side of salsa. My boyfriend ordered two soft tacos and I got the chicken enchiladas with green salsa plus a lingua (beef tongue) soft taco as I needed leftovers for lunch the next day. We also asked for waters and a grapefruit soda. The food arrived pretty quickly and I really enjoyed the rice, refried beans, and the chicken enchiladas. A lot of Mexican joints have dry chicken but the chicken here is juicy and flavourful. The beef lingua taco was okay - not outstanding but not bad. Their hot salsa and creama sauce were outstanding though - we asked for extra to take home with my enchiladas leftovers. One of the servers forgot our water, soda, and extra salsa but we managed to get it after awhile. He was extremely apologetic but no biggie. Great friendly service with solid food - this might be one of my favourite new spots in Surrey.

He threw a spoon at my mom's plate when we asked for one and he slammed the menus on our table. He got annoyed and borderline angry because we ordered multiple dishes because we wanted to taste different plates. Keep in mind that the restaurant was deserted and we were the only ones there so its not like the kitchen was backed up with orders. I was truly mind blown at how he treated us. My family and I are all about supporting small businesses but we will definitely not be coming back here. The food was disgusting!!!! The vegetables were old and mushy they looked like froze veggies, the rice tasted old. We order flautas with chicken and lets start by saying the chicken was nowhere to be found and they were burned and cold. The pozole was tasteless and was suuuuper watery.
