Surprisingly good Mexican takeout place in the curvy building where Boundary turns into 29th/Joyce. Don't let the dumpy exterior fool you. Parking is available in a lot next to the building, as well as the side streets. The place is literally just takeout. The inside is just a small standing area and a counter. No seats at all. There is exactly 1 standing table (no chairs) out in front. Staff are friendly and helpful. Special mention. Food is quite reasonably priced. I had the quesa tacos. Nice and filling, and loaded with melted cheese. As the place is takeout only, the guacamole and sour cream were served in large packets. Good enough for me. The food was juicy and super messy to eat. Thank goodness for napkins. I'd definitely come back for a Mexican fix. Recommended.

Not bad for a grab n go spot. You go in and place your order via a touch-screen kiosk then wait outside for your food. There is no seating inside. Quesa tacos: Flavourful, but a bit dry so be sure to use all the sour cream & salsa it comes with. Beef birria burrito: so filling...stuffed with beans, rice and meat. Salsa: Even though I like spicy, I recommend the mild salsa. The spicy salsa had an unpleasant taste.

This spot is a must for Birria tacos!!! In my top three for sure in Vancouver. This is a small take out joint that has a high top outside that you can congregate around to eat on the spot or you can just take it to go. We ate ours immediately, on a cold night eating cheesy juicy and flavourful Birria was truly perfect. The beef wasn't dry at all, and there was a ton of cheese, some alittle crispy which I love!! We also got the Spicy salsa and it was hoooot which I really appreciated as most places don't give you the spice factor. They nailed it! Everyone was super happy with their order and they came out fast! Need to go back to try a burrito asap!

Cool self-serve kiosk - this is a micro kitchen and there is no-dine in or seating. Take out only, and there is a long table outside, but there is no overhead cover, so I wouldn't recommend unless it's warm outside. Quesa tacos were pretty good, with a good portion beef inside. It can get a bit dry, so I'd use a generous portion of sauce or salsa. Burrito was pretty packed with toppings too.

Love it! Good portion sizes and they've got all the salsas/Mexican creams you need. All the food was beautifully presented and the taste was so delicious - I'll be back! On Taco Tuesdays they have a discount for their tacos. Parking can be a bit difficult to decide on depending on what side of Boundary you're heading up on. For the most optimal route it's easiest to to drive along Boundary south bound to be able to stop here easily.

Quick and convenient service but only take outs. Parking lot on the side and bus at walking distance but not a very accessible area unless you drive or live close. Good texture and tastes really good. Not the best taco I've had in general or even in Vancouver but it's a close top 2 or 3. Burrito is big and full of ingredients. It wouldn't mind going again if I'm nearby but not something I'd travel for.

I had a pick up order, they were really fast on it! Did not leave me waiting haha You can't really sit inside, just order basically, but they do have a standing bench you can eat ur food outside. But I took mine to-go/pick up. When I got home it smelled really good. I got the chicken tinga quesadilla. It filled me up! Comes with sour cream and mild salsa. I added the hot salsa on the side for extra. I thought it was gonna be like a medium spice but it was spicy! A good kick that's for sure! Lol lil spicy for me but I enjoyed it, nonetheless. Would recommend it! It's wallet friendly I'd say :) I ordered the birria beef tacos the next day. I got it without cheese. I added extra cream on the side and hot salsa.it Taste yummy! It's flavourful, got me full. I would order again maybe with the cheese next time :)

Portions are huge. I'm a big eater and I was full after eating half of this burrito. Absolutely enjoyed this meal and will definitely be going back 5/5 for getting the hang out of your buck 3/5 in terms of flavours it wasn't anything that made me go wow. Don't get me wrong it was still super tasty and delicious! Maybe I got the wrong thing but I'll definitely be going back to try again

Got the burrito and the nachos. The burrito is pretty dry because there isnt any sour cream inside it and to add sour cream you have to add extra. The burrito itself is already expensive so not worth it. The nachos has too much black beans and just honestly basic. The spread of the cheese should be better so that each tortilla chips got the cheese. Well the black bean covers it all but its too much too so a no for me. Not recommended from me. Chipotle is way better. Cheers!

I am so so glad that I finally tried Border Burrito! I've driven past it many times but finally decided to go last night. My boyfriend and I really wanted to try it but we didn't know that they don't have seating inside, luckily I live really close by. For myself I got the beef tacos ($11) and my boyfriend got the beef burrito ($12). My beef tacos consisted of soft shell corn tortillas, slow cooked beef, cilantro and onions and mexican cream on the side since I didn't want any spicy salsa. The burrito also came with the same thing except it had rice, cheese and greens, and black beans. We were so surprised at how huge the burrito was, my boyfriend was only able to eat half. They marinate and cook the meat really well here, everytime I bit the taco it was so juicy like birria sauce. The mexican cream was sooo delicious with the tacos, it balanced out the flavours really well. I definitely will return to try more items on the menu as it is extremely affordable.

Our server was attentive and around when we needed something but never interrupting, and his recommendations ended up being some of our favourite dishes. The anchovy olives were a standout, super crispy, packed with flavour, and not overly fishy at all (great if you're a bit hesitant about anchovies). The mushroom toast was rich, savoury, and full of umami. Just a heads up not to let it sit too long since it softens the bread. The tuna tartare was fresh and well-balanced. Not my personal favourite served on toast, but still really enjoyable overall. The paella was excellent, perfectly cooked shrimp, tclams, and crispy pork belly chicharrón that added the best salty, fatty crunch. The roasted cabbage completely surprised me and was easily one of the best veggie dishes I've had in a while. I could have eaten a whole plate of it. We wrapped things up with churros and shared a pitcher of sangria. For three people, it came out to about $68 each before tip, which felt very fair for how much we ordered. Would definitely recommend.

As well, the manchego was so tiny it was like a shaving . The bone marrow amounted to about three teaspoons of marrow. We were so sad and dissatisfied. The patatas bravas was okay. Unfortunately we do not have a reason to return.
