First, I have to say that the cashiers and employees in their garden centers have always been courteous and helpful.  Unfortunately, they are about the only ones who are! We had a disastrous experience when we purchased a traitor.  They assembled it but when we picked it up, the lights didn't work.  Rather than bring it back to Lowe's and assuming it was a quick fix, my husband brought it to a dealer (where we should have gone in the first place).  They called us and showed us that not only were the wheel nuts not tightened or the bearing, but the lights were reversed and the tire valve stems were ON THE INSIDE! It cost $300 to have all Lowe's mistakes fixed.  They offered $100.  We refused.  They called from corporate and offered $150 and said we had until the end of the day to accept the offer or they were withdrawing it!  My husband told them to SHOVE IT.  We learned our lesson about purchasing large items at Lowe's. Today I went to Lowe's Garden Center in West Wareham.  The gift card that I had used previously there had a balance of $50.44.  I checked the balance online before I left home.  IT WAS DECLINED!  I went to customer service where a testy woman told me that I had never used it there and I had to go online and purchase a Lowe's gift card with the balance.  I told her that I definitely had used it there a few weeks before and it said right on the card "Cashier: Select Credit".  She was so smug and dismissive that I left and figured I'd sort it out with the card company. The trailer issue could had killed someone if it lost a tire while on the highway but it didn't matter to Lowe's.  They obviously hire not just unskilled help but totally unhelpful and unprofessional help! Now, once I use the balance on the gift card, I'll never shop at Lowe's.  It's not worth the aggravation. read more

Just had to take 3 days off of work to recieve my appliance. 1st day wrong appliance, 2nd day pretended not to verify that day eventhough I have emails and txts to verify. Now I'm taking a 3rd day off of work so I ask how am I going to be compensated? There response was I must accept the delivery and then we can talk about that. I called the store manager directly. She tries to help and gets the same response, so she advices she will help above and beyond what they are willing to do over the phone. They offer me $50 gift card for 2 whole unnecessary days wasted waiting. The manager that said she would help all of sudden cant come to the phone after I spent an hour trying to reach her. left on hold for 30 + minutes multiple times to call back and be told, she's outside because "big wigs" are coming you should call this number. The same unorganized delivery people who can not help. I'm cutting my losses. keep you $50 gift certificate. DO NOT FOR YOUR OWN SAKE ORDER from this store. your time is more valuable. read more

Is there a reason why this place doesn't have much staff walking around? I swear everytime I go and need help I can never find anyone and when I do find someone and ask they always act like they're so busy saying they're doing something. Can I kvetch without being called a Karen? First world problem, maybe. Managing my abundance, maybe. It's been 17 years since I bought a washer/dryer, so I needed a new one. I wish I'd read these reviews before! I took advantage of a sale at this Lowe's, only to have one thing after another go wrong, over many months. First they didn't send the stacking component when the installers came, so they wouldn't install it. It took six weeks and many hours on the phone to get the service people back out with the part and to install it. Meanwhile, I couldn't use the washer/dryer. Then the clothes would only come out hot. And it was loud on the spin. It was rinsing in hot water. After thinking this was the new boiler problem, I discover Lowe's installed it wrong--hot and cold lines were switched. The washer has always been loud, but is now so loud while spinning that I'm afraid to use it. After talking to Lowe's and being told I needed to deal with Samsung, I spent an hour (and a whole wash cycle) on a video call with a Samsung person to decide whether it needed servicing. It obviously does. They've wasted my time on two separate days sending two separate companies out to repair it. Both times the company couldn't repair because they said they needed things from me that Samsung never told me I needed. One was to have the dryer and washer uninstalled. After waiting for hours and making sure I was home from work, he came, looked at it and left. I can't uninstall alone, so I called them back and asked if they could send out a second service man to help lift the dryer off so they could figure out was what wrong with it. Yes! they said. We can do that! They'll be there Monday. Waited all day for the guys to show up only to have ONE guy show up and tell me the same thing the guy last week did--if it's not uninstalled, he's not going to work on it. In addition, he said even if it was unstacked they wouldn't be able to work on it because someone made a note that I needed my receipt, with two explanation points. My receipt is not here--it's with my taxes. Plus, it's not true. It's registered and under warranty. WTAF. So now I have to do this a third time to get a new service company out here after I pay someone to uninstall it and have it sitting in the middle of my bathroom, reminding me of my mistake. PSA. Don't buy at Lowe's. Don't buy Samsung. Pfft. Shop Local. read more

When/if you can ever find a staff member they are usually pretty helpful but if you have an issue with an appliance order good luck! We ordered a fridge and according to the specs online it would fit through our door ways, the delivery team refused to bring it in, we did our measurements again and a week later the delivery team refused to deliver it again! Dealing with customer service to solve the problem takes hours and hours and we still have no solution to the problem. I'm currently on hold and it's been 55 minutes after holding for 30 then being hung up on. We even went to the store and were sent to appliances to wait for a manager that never showed up. When they say they'll contact you it takes days, we are waiting on a refund for the first failed delivery and supposedly have an order for a totally different fridge being processed so we are out the $ of 2 refrigerators at the moment......still on hold and now it's been 61 minutes! read more

If I could give a 0 star, I would. in fact, I wouldn't even bother writing a review, but This is the most pathetic excuse for a home improvement store I have ever been to. My first and LAST experience has been nothing short of traumatizing as a first time home buyer. DO NOT GO HERE. My oven caught fire on thanksgiving, (11/24) so I went the next day to purchase a new one from Lowes. The only reason I even chose lowes in the first place was that I had a gift card. The first person I spoke to charged me for a new oven, a five year warranty and "haul away". they failed to tell me that I would need it professionally installed. So when they showed up the next day the guys told me I would need to buy a separate contract for them to come install it, at over 500.00. This would have been fine if they said it in the first place, but the MANAGER the day before failed to tell me, even though I said "I want to be all set, whatever I need just charge me! So I went back the next day, and I signed for the work order, as she was putting it away she said I had 3 days to cancel the work order. I WAITED A WEEK, and Called back. Spoke to the same woman, janette, who said "oh, you didn't know? It's gonna be about FOUR WEEKS" for them to install my oven. I spoke to a manager immediately after who promised me he would get it expedited, but THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE AN INSTALLER UNTIL THREE DAYS AFTER THE WORK ORDER WAS SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got a phone call three weeks after that, from the installer saying he would install my oven, which at this point had been sitting in my dining room FOR A MONTH, That he would install my oven on 1/4. So thank you for ruining not only my Christmas dinner, but my New Years plans as well!!!!! Oh, but the saga doesn't end here!!!! No no no! So the day of my installation on JANUARY 4th I get a call from the installers saying the hood range wasn't at the store. And they weren't sure when I could get it I have spoken to management who have all promised to reimburse me for my trouble, but no one has since reached out, even after leaving multiple notes on my account. It is now 2/5 and I have just gotten a call saying the hood won't be installed until MARCH. I never want to deal with lowes again. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars at Home Depot and have never had a problem. This was my first purchase from lowes, and it's taken A QUARTER OF A YEAR for them to complete my purchase, and so far no refund in sight, after multiple people in CS and management have promised to "make it right". To be honest, everyone in that should should be ashamed and embarrassed of how badly this was botched. And they should all be fired. I never want to deal with lowes again. This is a months long nightmare that JUST WONT END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I won't even get my hood installed for another month after this review. DONT CHOOSE LOWES read more

AO Smith boiler from Lowes died after 4 years. So we call AO Smith and get Return Authorization. But not so quick - Lowes says they will offer store credit only if we uninstall the boiler and bring it to Lowes. Why? So I don't sell it for scrap. Its a scam. read more

This is a very clean and well organized hardware store. The staff here is very great and assisting their customers and you can always find someone to ask where things are. Always has what I need. Been coming here to get all my paint supplies to paint three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large hallway. I have been to this Lowe's twice in the recent past to buy some items for some home improvement projects we are doing. This location is large and well stocked with a polite crew of employees. The only critique I have is less about this particular location and more related to Lowe's in general. I have found that the prices here are a bit higher than Home Depot but besides that they are similar in many ways. read more

During the ANNUAL Memorial Day Appliance sale my husband stopped at your store located at 2421 Cranberry Highway Wareham, MA 02571 on May 22, 2020 at 5:25PM. (Trans# 9182960) He placed an order for a Washer, Dryer, 6ft dryer cord, 6 ft washer fill hose, and required installation accessories. The transaction total was $1059.01. He ordered and than stood in line for 20 minutes for the cashier to ring up. Delivery was not to occur until JUNE 9th - already 18 days later. We received a call on the night of JUNE 8th giving us a 4 hour window for delivery - 8AM to Noon with a phone call when 1/2 hour from arrival. After waiting around all morning I finally contacted the delivery section of Lowe's at 12:55PM! I was informed that No Delivery - washer on the truck was damaged. Someone was suppose to call! James said at that time 2 were due on the truck later that day and we would get the first delivery on the 10th. He said would process a $100 credit to our Lowe's credit card for the extreme inconvenience. Then at 4:05PM again on the 9th we get a call from James - no washers on the truck, THREE are due on the truck Thursday (JUNE 11TH) and delivery will now be FRIDAY JUNE 12TH. He also stated the $100 credit was processed. It has NOT BEEN PROCESSED AS OF JUNE 11TH 5:30PM. Today, JUNE 11th, I called at 3:54PM to 3:59PM no one answered the phone in the delivery section. I redialed and the main operator finally answered and I was told we WERE SCHEDULED for delivery tomorrow and we would receive a call tonight with a 4 hour window. She then placed me on hold until 4:18PM trying to find one of 3 managers to PROCESS my $100 CREDIT. Finally she said she would email me when the manager processed. NO EMAIL AS OF 6:02PM. It gets even better - James calls my husband at 5:36PM JUNE 11th to say no delivery TOMORROW- there were no washers on the truck. He said there were suppose to be 5 (remember he previously told us THREE). My husband told him we were going home next WEDNESDAY - JUNE 17TH and we would require delivery prior to then. James told him the washers are to be on a truck Saturday! At this point what are we suppose to believe- the story changes as many 3 times in one day. If this is representative of the CUSTOMER SERVICE Lowe's provides we certainly will not consider Lowe's for our new appliances for the entire new house we are currently building in Saratoga Springs, NY. I am requesting Executive Level intervention in this untenable situation. UPDATE - Lowe's North Carolina corporate office stepped in and solved this situation satisfactorily and followed up to check on resolution. Their intervention was greatly appreciated. read more

I ordered a range on line. It was delivered yesterday. Without the new cord...That was sent out in the mail??? One of the screws would not budge, so I could not even install the old cord. I made two calls yesterday, and they said they would send out a cord and someone to check it. Today I called and no one had any idea what I was talking about. Six phone calls later (I had to cancel a work appointment- that cost me $75.00)...No wait, this is now seven calls /transfers (I am typing this in real time). I finally spoke to James (who was very nice and had the details) and he is sending out an other cord and an installation person. Thank you James. However I am NEVER USING LOWES AGAIN read more

Terrible experience. Ordered backsplash online for delivery and they were the closest fulfilling store because they had the quantity I needed. Received a call shortly after that they did not update the correct quantity and actually didn't have what I needed. Was told a manager would be ordering more and it should arrive in time for when I needed it. Fine. Haven't received any updates and then received an email that my order would be cancelled the next day if I did not pick up my order. I then called the store to confirm it was in-stock (it wasn't), and nobody knew what I was talking about. One woman in particular was INCREDIBLY rude and sassy and couldn't confirm that my order wouldn't be cancelled and transferred me abruptly to another woman. Called back again to see if there was an update and this new woman, again, had no idea what I was talking about. I ended up cancelling the order and placed it at another Lowes location with much better customer service and management skills. read more

If you want to settle on something you dont want. Go to lowes. They could care less about parts. Now I am not talking about a switch for a lamp from 1920. I am talking about parts fo drains, or 15 amp breakers. They actually stock these, but THEY ARE ALWAYS OUT. They never simply let the computer re-oprder the parts. I have never seen a stupider staff, manager or inventory control system. This is one of the WORST stores around. How hard it is to reorder sold items? Wonder why Lowes, Wareham gets such bad reviews? They deserve it. Wouldn't recommend them for any install project.

Last August we bought and had Lowe's in Wareham install an Armstong laminate floor. Soon after the floor started to creak. We contacted Lowe's and a representative came out. He agreed that there was a problem and sent out an installer to check it out. The installer agreed there was a problem. They said they contacted Armstrong who said the floor wasn't guaranteed against creaking. Now we have a very expensive floor that neither Lowe's or Armstong wants to fix. I always thought Armstong and Lowe's would stand behind their products but don't count on it. Both companies have now lost our business, although we are going to pursue this. read more

Worst customer service and delivery. Order a refrigerator on Friday June 30th one day delivery was advertised at Wareham Ma store. We had to call to find out when we were scheduled. We were told between 230 and 4:30 PM. When the refrigerator did not show up at 4:30 we called the store to confirm delivery they told us that we were the third on the list to be delivered before the end of the day. At 7:30pm the refrigerator was still not delivered we called the store to find out the truck had broken down and the refrigerator was not coming. Had we not called the store we never would've known the refrigerator was not going to be delivered. After speaking with the store manager he told us they would not be able to deliver it on Saturday but we would be the first delivery on Sunday. We then received a call saying they were delivered between one and three. Obviously not the first delivery, they just called us again and told us we might get it by 5 o'clock today. Needless to say the customer service and delivery at the Wareham store is atrocious. BUYER BEWARE. we will never order from Lowe's again. read more

We thought going with Lowes would make our kitchen renovation a dream... it was a total nightmare. My wife and I own 5 properties and I've had hundreds of thousands of dollars of work done over the years. However my regular contractor moved away & I didn't know who to call to have our kitchen renovated. I've never used a big box store & after this experience I will never use Lowes again. I have to say that Mike Leonard (designer) and Russel Fitzgibbons (sales) were both knowledgeable & very helpful until the end. The reason we went with a big box store is we were sold a lie. We were told that by having Lowes do everything we'd save sales tax on everything (cabinets/appliances which was true) & that all the contractors who came to our house would be licensed, insured and background checked (not true we had the most incompetent, unlicensed people, uninsured workers that showed up to do work). Yes the subcontractor for Lowes has insurance and is licensed, but then to save money they get whomever they can to do the work & they do it as fast as they can. We had $60K+ renovation (down to the studs) and permits weren't obtained, floors weren't leveled, walls weren't prepped, cabinets were literally thrown up without measuring etc. Less than halfway through the project we couldn't take it any more. The subcontractor for Lowes put in a hood vent, cut a hole in the roof & that night rain water poured into the attic! When I contacted the contractor they wanted to just caulk it & they weren't sure if it was their fault! Our house was a disaster area & we didn't know where to turn, but things were so bad, we would rather take our chances with the unknown than with Lowes. I had kept a log of the issues with Homerun Handyman who Lowes hired & sent this over to Lowes Corporate, thinking they would be helpful and understanding. The reaction from corporate Lowes was appalling! After Shanjae from Lowes Corporate read the issues that we had with the sub-contractors poor workmanship and "shaking us down" for more money (outside of the Lowes contract) we felt they would be as upset as we were. Corporate wasn't upset at all... in fact they told us we waited too long to contact them & they never had an issue with this contractor before (which wasn't true). As it turned out Homerun Handyman's electrician told us of a major issue Lowes/Homerun Handman had with another police office and a kitchen remodel. At one point Lowes Corporate even contemplated calling the police on us when we asked to have their subcontractors tools picked up... they felt we were refusing to give back the tools? The bottom line: Lowes in my opinion & the opinion of contractors I've talked with hire contractors that are willing to work for lower rates. As a result, the consumer suffers from rushed jobs and inexperienced or inept contractors. Don't think you are going to save money... you won't. What ever contract you negotiate, it's going to cost you more. Don't think that you are going to be covered by Lowes Corporate for anything that goes wrong... when things went wrong with our job... they didn't care and didn't help. read more

Worst customer service ever! Ordered a fire pit online that was supposed to be delivered by the Wareham, MA store. But of course, no one called. So I called them, only to be told my order had been delayed a week...not their fault, of course, because it was coming from a vendor. Flew all the way from CA to MA to be here in time to assemble the kit, and now I have to go home before the new delivery date! Cancelled it, of course. I stopped in this store (Wareham Lowe's) last weekend to buy a shed , some paint and enough plywood and exterior grade 2x4's to do some work on our cape home (after driving by the Home Depot) and met the rudest woman I have ever met . She was in the paint department . every question I would ask her I would get the eye roll and just a real attitude , that was enough for me. I left and drove right to Home depot on the other side of town and spent over $2500.00 . I wish I could have got a hold of the manager of that store when I got back to the house , but I couldnt find any contact info on the website . I will never shop at Lowes again because of this woman's attitude . I also tell anyone who will listen about her . I've never had a bad experience at a Lowe's until now, when I've had 2 in a row. The first time they had only one person on register with a huge line. Sorry I am glad this store is there but I am tired of going into different sections only to see the same items (usually smaller parts in plumbing) are out of stock. I am talking about 1/2" sized fittings and COMMON items. I have shopped there for 4 years and this has been going on. There is no reason this should be happening since their inventory should be replenished when they sell items . Multiple times I have gone in to find the same empty box for more than 3 weeks.
