Got to the cashier- She said because the two went marked she would not do the 50% off-yet I had a photo of the one I purchased last week.. So disappointing as we have never had any problems.. I came into this store looking for a specific item I needed more of. I'd purchased this item from a different location two weeks prior, but figured I'd stop at this location since I was on this side of town. I saw an elderly, gray haired employee walking my way and asked if he could point me towards the direction where this item would be. (location layouts differs for each store) I explained what I was looking for. The look this man gave me, pissed me off because he looked at me like I was dumb. He said there was no such thing and he'd never heard of such an item. I told him Lows carried them and that I had purchased them at another location. He proceeded to tell me that every location carried their own product. (How stupid did he think I was) he then asked me if I had an I number like it was my job to know it!! I thanked him (for nothing) and walked way. Found them in garden Ps. The other store was no better. The older, gray haired employees seem to get bothered when asked for help. read more

When they called about delivery on this Wednesday I told them please 8 Am till 11. Girl on phone said all set just got notified it's 10:30 till 3.00. I wanted to buy a patio table & chairs, I started at the Reno store- who said they had it it stock, but could not find them & had sold their display. So I went online & ordered it from Lowe's.com, only to receive a note the next day- that apparently they did not have it "in-stock". So finally I find it at Sparks Lowe's. I order it online and it says "available in stock". I go to the store, I'm thrilled ed they actually physically have it in stock! I am standing beside the display table, I want to load it, I have paid for it..:but they won't let me take it because it's the "display"- (since it doesn't say "for display only" they are in violation of federal bait and switch laws). They already have my money, I want the table & chairs I paid for, but they won't let me load it! I spend thirty minutes trying to escalate with the management to have them deliver the table I've paid for- frustrating, infuriating bureaucracy that goes beyond bad customer service to possibly violating the law. I will never come to this store again, and will continue to bring my business to Home Depot. Anna you were great at the counter, Vivian you clearly could not care less about me as a customer. Shame on the manager that hid in the back office and kept sending you out to deal with this problem. I had no idea how bad a business could be. Shop elsewhere. read more

Do not buy major appliances from Lowes My dryer went out and I ordered a new one. It took 2 weeks Installation was easy and they were in and out within 15 mins Unfortunately the dryer didn't work. I called in 72 hours after it was installed and they told me their policy was 48 hours, I had to go through the manufacturer. It will take GE 2 weeks to send some flunky out to determine that it's the thermostat. Then another week or 2 to order the part. Then another 2 weeks to do the repair Lowes does not care. They got their money I hope it was worth it to them to lose a customer over it read more

Order was supposed to be delivered by noon today and it's 1:30, still no delivery. App scheduled delivery time changed, store said it was supposed to be here by noon and don't know what's going on. We've been waiting since 8am and nobody knows what's going on. This same thing happened a month ago! My husband took the day off work to be home for the delivery and they never showed. Staff at the store were rude and acted as if we were putting them out by looking into the order. The delivery never arrived and had to be rescheduled for 3 days later delaying our project. read more

I had the best service in Lowes today! I needed to exchange some blinds, and the blinds were quickly returned. When looking for the blinds I needed, I was quickly helped by another associate and she made sure I had the correct blinds I was looking for. I bought a few other items I needed that were more affordable than stores closer to me. I enjoy lowes over other home improvement stores. read more

While prices are generally fairly priced! The service at this location is pretty poor! Rarely find a smiling face, seeing employees on their phones while customers waiting for help. If you're on a break then go be on a break, not milling around registers ignoring customers. Trying to get via telephone is an absolute JOKE!!! My wife and I agree that you should NOT buy any appliances from the Lowe's at the Legends in Sparks. We were extremely disappointed and frustrated by the lack of follow-up by a Lowe's sales associate. Though polite and friendly, he lacked basic knowledge of the oven/microwave wall unit we bought. We were led to believe we would need electrical outlets for the appliance and even got an electrician to give us an estimate for it. It took a full week after my wife and I initiated the purchase to learn that it was four-wired and hard-wired _ and there was no need for electrical outlets. We and the electrician had to verify the info ourselves by phoning GE. This is something the sales associate should have been able to tell us from the start. A complete waste of time for us. He also billed us the regular instead of the sales price for the appliance (which he corrected after we told him about it) and incorrectly told us the installers would be unable to do the wood cut to make the appliance fit our cabinet. It took a phone call from me to a competent Lowe's installation support employee for us to finally learn installers would do the cut. Lowe's needs to do a better job of training sales associates in follow-up and dispensing basic, accurate information about appliances. read more

I was double-billed for a patio table and chairs. I called the Sparks, NV, Lowes store #3034 customer service number during working hours at (775) 412-4540, but no one answered after the menu selection was made. I purchased a patio table and chairs online at the Sparks, NV store for $1106.68 on with assembly and delivery. However, I didn't accept delivery off the truck at my home due to shipping damage on the patio table, and the delivery personnel returned the entire damaged shipment to the Sparks Lowes. I immediately called the Sparks Lowes customer service rep and she said she'd make a credit card refund of $1106.68, and for my trouble offered an undamaged shipment at the reduced cost of $986.14 with a new credit card charge. I accepted this offer and an undamaged order was subsequently delivered. The customer service rep assured me that I wouldn't be double-billed, but she failed to refund the original charge on the damaged shipment of $1106.68, AND also charged me the adjusted offer of $986.14. My credit card dispute center deferred to the Lowes store. Now both charges are payable on my CitiCard statement for my one order. I emailed Lowes customer service at customercare@lowes.com, but except for a receipt email, received no response. This purchase turned into a needless, continuing, unresolved nightmare with a damaged delivery, duplicate billing, and unanswered customer service telephone calls and emails. Purchased a washer and dryer 4 weeks in advance and was able to pick if I wanted it delivered in the AM or PM. I picked AM. They use a 3rd party and it was horrible. The night before I received a text that it would be delivered between 3-5pm. I called Lowe's at 8 am that morning and asked what time I was scheduled and they said 12-3. I had let them know the situation and that it would not work. It had to be in the AM. It got changed two more times and I pretty much gave up on it. They were delivered at 5:00pm and I was so disappointed. I will never recommend Lowe's and everyone should know ow the 3rd party delivery sucks read more

BEWARE OF LOWES This March we decided to purchase a new Refrigerator from Lowe's and move the Frigidaire side by side stainless to the Garage it's (for Sale 450.00) and take delivery on Monday March 31. The refrigerator arrived and the bottom door had a 2 foot scratch. I did not take delivery and was told Lowe's would contact me.Two days later no contact and was given a credit. NO PHONE call they don't even realize the amount of time and preperation it takes to prepare for a new refrigerator. Clean out the old find a spot for the old before it arrives. I could not get to upper management or talk to a supervisor at that level. I don't understand how that product got out of the store and why I was not contacted. BEWARE OF LOWES. If I could give Lowes in Sparks and in Reno a -10, that's what I would do. I went to the Sparks store this morning and the Garden Shop was locked. So I went into the store and into the Garden Shop and a vendor had piles of merchandise all around the register area. I went back into the store and asked customer service was the Garden Shop closed and was told that they were an employee short and could put someone at the register and told me to push 650 pounds of pavers to the register in the main store. I'm 75 years old. I pushed 650 pounds of pavers yesterday into the Gaarden Shop parking lot and it was hard much less push them through the main store. They said try Reon. I go to Reno, guess what, Garden Shop is closed so I go into the main store and went into the Garden Shop and was told to push the 650 pounds of pavers into the main store. I was also told the same thing I was told in Sparks that they were short a cashier and couldn't open the outer doors. Also, they were restocking stuff in the Garden Shop too. What are the odds 2 stores with the same story? I asked for a manager but never got one. One guy did try and help and told me to get the number and he would let me pay here and get someone to load the pavers and put the out the back garden shop loading door. He called the same lady I spoke to in the garden shop, who came up front and told him that she told me to push the pavers through the store. I went to Home Depot and was talking to another customer who also just came from Lowes and had a Garden Shop Issue just like me. He said they just don't care and I think he is correct. Not a problem for me anymore, I'll never shop at Lowes again. If I can't find it somewhere beside Lowes, I'll just go without. read more

Went to Lowe's Sparks seeking molding for a bedroom. After walking from one end of the store to the other, I went to the service desk at the lumber area. I stood staring at the man at the desk waiting for him to acknowledge me. It was like he kept doing his invoices and was waiting for me to leave. He finally asked if I needed something. I explained that I did need some assistance in choosing a molding to match the piece I brought with me. He told me to go to aisle 46 and he would send someone there to assist us. I asked him where aisle 46 was and he directed me to go down the aisle and turn right. I went to the aisle and no molding was there. I went two aisles down and found the molding. After waiting 10 minutes, I looked at what was on the shelves and could not find anything. No one ever came to the assist us, so we headed out to leave. It is shocking to me that there were numerous employees standing around and walking around, looking bored. Not one of them asked me if I needed assistance or even made eye contact with me. I hope they are all looking for another job because that company is not going to last with the complete lack of and disregard of customers waiting for someone to help them spend money to pay their payroll. On the way out the door I did speak with a nice young man getting carts. I apologize to him for the way I unloaded on him regarding my experience. He was working hard and actually said hello. Good guy and you have him outside instead of inside helping customers. All the "drones" were inside. read more

I come to this Lowe's often for different needs. It's in a very convenient location and the parking lot is very accessible even during busy seasons. Most experiences are excellent and we have zero issues. I usually wander around for the most part haha. I've purchased a washer and dryer from them on two separate occasions and both were priced well, delivery was smooth, and the items have worked well. I purchased flowers for a small garden last spring and they had such a lovely variety! I can't wait to buy more this year (I unfortunately let mine go in the middle of summer - oops)! Our only not-so great experience was last year when purchasing black-out blinds/rollers for our windows. We had issues with inconsistent measurements/cutting, but they were always quick to remedy the situation. Staff have always been kind and helpful when needed. My only complaint is the price of their Christmas decor during the holiday season - I love it all, but for the most part it seems very overpriced. read more

Bought a fan 160.00 Paid them additional 250.00 to install No fan install. No one will help, the female manager is scared to talk and address this issue and getting the run-around. Told me to call a third party to get it done AFTER I paid them 250.00!!!!! Un. Believable. Horrid service and the adults take NO responsibility. I will return fan tomorrow and refund my almost 400.00 and a week of wasted time and frustration. Side note-the third party never calls you back....gonna head to Home Depot, don't waste your time at this store would give a ZERO star rating, but had to at least pick one star. Sad. read more

My new washer was set to be delivered between 2-6pm today, with a call 30 minutes prior... the delivery guy calls 5 minutes ahead to say he's on his way. I tell him I'm not there and give him my tenants name. When he gets there he says he won't take the old washer because there's water in the bottom. I send him away, with the new washer. He was EXTREMELY rude and basically hangs up on me. I called the store and the Manager went the extra mile, turned the whole thing around and needless to say- by end of day the old washer was gone and new one installed. However, the pictures attached show the condition they left my laundry area. The washer is sitting in 2 inches of nasty water and he dumped out the old washer on my lawn, leaving pieces behind. I am not likely to shop at Lowe's again where any installation or delivery is needed based on this experience. read more

NEVER buy kitchen appliances at Lowes. Got a new fridge from there last week, took over a seek to get it delivered from SLC because they don't stock them in the store??!! They got me out of bed at 8am on Sunday morning with a call saying they would be here in 10 min. No advance notice from Lowes. The delivery guys were nice enough but could barely speak English. They ripped all the plastic off the fridge with no care so now I have white plastic sticking out everywhere with no way to get it off, the doors are uneven, it's in the space crooked, at least that is easily fixed. The guys were nice enough but have no idea how to remove plastic wrappings, now I have a total mess to clean up. I was warned about Lowe's delivery people, I should have listened. read more

Will never purchase anything from them again. I own businesses and I know that employees are hard to find, but train the ones you do have. And don't give management titles to individuals who only answer is to blame others and then tell customer " you can always just do it yourself". We had ordered cabinets , and I went there to pick them up . I checked in , was handed paperwork and told to go to the lumber the next building over . Well , I did , I checked in and was told some would be right there. I waited more than 20 minutes and told the guy no one has shown up , he replied "I will call them " . Our refrigerator stopped working and we needed a new one. Saw one here on a good deal. The employee we dealt with was definitely helpful, however, that was the only good part of the experience. They told us it would be a week before delivery. That night we received a message saying our refrigerator would be delivered the next day. Then we were told 12 days until delivery. It was finally delivered. It was delivered by two guys: a silent guy, and one that complained about EVERYTHING. Complained about how they had to get it into the house. Complained about the fact that the refrigerator they were hauling away wasn't in nice condition knowing full well it didn't work and was going to be disposed of. Complained that our dog, which was in a crate while the delivery was happening, was barking at the strangers in our house. He yelled at our dog multiple times. I have a hard time believing that someone that works in appliance install and delivery has never encountered less than pristine appliances to be removed from a home or had to move a couple tree branches aside to get the appliances switched out. This goes beyond unprofessional. It was just flat-out unnecessary behavior. We will never be back to this Lowes for anything that requires delivery again. More than likely, we will just not go back for anything. read more

I had a problem with an order and she followed through to the end to resolve this. Everybody else just tells you you'll get a call back, and then nothing. She completely took care of my issue because she gave a damn. Now Lowes does not get the same rating . I would complain here but I don't want it to reflect on Candy. If you are looking to get wood here and have them cut it to certain lengths, don't get your hopes up, this isn't the place for you because they will cut your wood, charge you the full amount, and when you get home to build your table you realize OH! They fucked up! I'm sure their customer service could do SOMETHING about it! So you call because you spent fucking $50 on wood ,and the old man on the phone goes "well...we aren't here cutting the wood the precision, we just cut it so you can put it in your car" ...uhhhmmm are you fucking kidding me? You're not cutting them to the length I want? So why the FUCK are you idiots allowed to cut wood in the first place?! Doesn't make fucking sense and I am beyond livid. First time it took like (no exaggeration) 9 guys to figure it out and by the time it was done 1hr went by. One of the employees said "damn i wish people would work their own department. I'm going through a whole home renovation and the workers here did nothing but make it more difficult and stressful for us. My husband and I have a Lowe's card and will be canceling our account after our experience here. We have spent thousands at this store and we're spending more on a Saturday afternoon purchasing laminate flooring. Everything went perfectly fine and we made the final decision and ordered the flooring because it was not in stock. We got a call almost a week later on Friday from an employee saying they were not going to receive our flooring because they were going to stop using this manufacturer. Mind you we already paid the flooring in FULL. We decided to stop in and get this resolved since we already hired a contractor to install and could not cancel with them without having to pay fees. The installation was going to take place Wednesday the following week. We stop in and are directed towards Brian who could not be any more help than the dirt on my shoes with his condescending attitude. My husband and I chose a new flooring with no help of Brian who just made unnecessary comments for example "you really can't cancel your contractor" and "i don't think you can exchange your flooring". My father decided to ask Brian a question if we could take half of the boxes we needed and set the others aside for the following day since they would not fit in our truck. Brian's says "your making this way too complicated" I told him you guys made this complicated for us we just lost out on a week because we weren't notified sooner and we already asked for days off, hired a contractor, and rented a hotel room for a few days. This week could've been used ordering another flooring that now won't arrive on time if we decided to order now. After this we just asked him to bring it to the front of the store so we could load our truck and get out of there. We waited 30 min for someone to move the flooring to the loading area no one ever came. We decided to unload the flooring from the pallet to a cart and from the cart to our truck. We asked the employees what kind of customer service was this. As the cashier yelled at us and the employee who was in charge of loading made comments as he walked away. Going through a home renovation is stressful enough but having disrespectful people be of no help adds unnecessary stress. If you can avoid going here please do!!!!! read more

I went to Lowes in Sparks by Sheels with my disabled mother on a walker to buy a microwave range over for my kitchen remodeling. Got a good deal from their sale and lucky me it was even available in the store. It was heavy so the guy helped me put it on top of the cart. As we were going out the door an employee named Linda saw us and helped me push the cart coz it was so hard for me to drive the cart with heavy microwave and at the same time assisting my 85 y/o mom in the walker. After I got my mother in the car and put away her walker I found an item that I forgot to pay. So I told Linda to please return it inside. She said she'll look after my mom if I really want it and so I went back in to pay for it. That sure was very nice of her to do and she even went beyond her customer service. I hope her boss or supervisor see this review coz she deserve a job well done. People like her is an asset to a company and that is hard to find nowadays. read more

I have shopped at Lowes for years, I say around 20 plus I have always enjoyed a good deal from Lowes. But after dealing with the store and then the product vendor I will not shop at Lowes ever again. I purchased Three Blue Rhino propane tanks 1 I used and is now empty the other two are defective the valve Knob broke off of one when I tried to turn it on the other one the valve is stuck a quarter of the way open and will only allow small amount of gas out. Now my Father Day Barbeque is a wash and I want nothing more to do with Blue Rhino. At the store they will only trade for a new full tank. you can't even get the tank cost back so at this point I am stuck with two full defective propane tanks That I will have pay to get rid of. read more
