Apon entering we were promptly greeted by a very pleasant, knowledgeable, no pressure sales person. We told her what we were looking for and while we strolled around she went and found us some samples to look at. We spent the next 45 minutes walking around admiring the plants, displays, artwork clothing etc. We left with three plants and will definitely be back to shop the unique gifts they have.

It was a hoot. Great job by Moana Nursery and their staff in educating kids about planting a gardening, the importance of ladybugs, value of carnivorous plants, creating floral arrangements, and making home bird treats. While they are a little more expensive than a box store, they also have a program called Whoopsie Daisy that guarantees your plants or you can get a replacement. While I haven't used this program, it's great for beginner gardeners like myself. I love their selection on everything from soils, to large ceramic pots.

When I set out in this backyard adventure, I had 12 different bids. We live in Spanish Springs…read more(Sparks). We narrowed the 12 to a final few. One of those was Creative Gardens. Creative Gardens has an actual retail store in Sparks so you can always find them. We dealt with the owner, CJ, who was very knowledgeable on designing a backyard. He listened to what we wanted and then produced a virtual reality model of it on a large screen right there in the office. He had the ability to make real time changes as we requested them. This is a family operated business with CJ being the 3rd generation owner. His mom is the office manager and his sister runs the retail operations of the store. From the minute we walked in the door, they put us at ease and made us feel very welcome. The fact that they could make real world changes on the computer sold us on going with them. It was that and how well they treated us from the moment we walked into the business. During the build we had multiple changes and additions. The field supervisor, Jeff, is awesome to work with and doesn't know the word "no". He always says "we can do that". Their work crews were also great. Their crew leader, Cruz, can build just about anything and runs a tight ship. We really couldn't be happier with our backyard and the relationships we built with the Creative Garden staff. They have our full support and recommendation for their work. Oh and they are priced very reasonably.
