A few weeks later, correct carpet arrived, move furniture again. Installers did a great job but error-(supplier) did not put enough carpet into the order the order was short. Currently sitting with one lovely room that is carpeted and a master closet with no carpet. Repeat calls to get an answer on status. Very difficult to reach anyone for help- 15 minutes or more for a phone that rings or dropped into a queue repetitively, until finally reaching someone in the store for help. Informed carpet ordered to finish job- mid-May at the earliest to have a job completed that was initiated in March. Nothing more than a "sorry for the inconvenience". Once is a fluke twice is a pattern. I hope that the supplier issues are resolved and no one else has to endure this comedy of errors. The Installers (Reno Flooring) have done a great job and have attention to detail. Installers are very nice and they did their very best to complete this project. I feel sorry for the installers- this probably cost them valuable time and money too with these supplier issues.

Harbor freight is a good place to get some needed tools in a hurry. The quality is not the best. I…read morewas in the middle of nowhere, had to buy a socket set to put together the cargo carrier that slides into the hitch. The socket set would not switch from tighten to loosen very easily. And once switched, that socket would skip while tightening. Also, the freshly opened socket set box would not close. The latches were not lined up correctly. The nice thing about Harbor freight, as you can return stuff without much of a problem. It's like they understand sometimes the quality of their stuff it's pretty low. I also bought a hydraulic jack and when I was jacking up the truck, the seal popped on the jack and hydraulic fluid spilled everywhere. Yes they did take it back, however, you want reliability and don't want to have to make two trips. Some things that I bought that worked quite well were the dollies and the rack that fit in the tow hitch to carry luggage or other things on the back of my van. When you do buy something that actually is working. It's a good value compared to other companies. Mostly it's hitting and miss though. The workers are nice, and as well, when you order something oversize, they always have someone help you to get it out to your vehicle and help you put it in your trunk. Finally, I still enjoy the monthly coupon. Coupons where you get some free stuff when you go in. Over the years, I cannot tell you how many free things I got from Harbor freight. Free is free. That is the best value lol. Would recommend downloading the app so you can see their weekly/monthly ads . You can search for stuff online and buy it. The app will also tell you which stores have the item you need... the app almost always has a 10% discount on one item. That helps when you purchase something that cost over $200. Bottom morning, I will still use Harbor freight for items needed quickly, but I don't care if they last .

While they are a little more expensive than a box store, they also have a program called Whoopsie Daisy that guarantees your plants or you can get a replacement. While I haven't used this program, it's great for beginner gardeners like myself. I love their selection on everything from soils, to large ceramic pots.

Angela is an incredibly talented designer with an amazing eye for detail. When the polished version of the tile we wanted wasn't available through the Reno store, she went above and beyond by coordinating with the Salt Lake distribution center to have it shipped directly to our home. She even worked to offset the shipping cost by reducing the price of the material, which was incredibly appreciated. Throughout the entire project, Angela helped us coordinate tile selections, grout colors, caulking, Schluter trim, and all of the countless design details that can easily become overwhelming. She was conscientious, responsive, proactive, and always followed through on everything she said she would do. What impressed me most was her level of customer service. At one point, while traveling through California on a weekend, she personally picked up the Schluter trim we needed from another Floor & Decor store and brought it back to the Reno store so it would be available for our project. She routinely answered my calls and texts on her personal cell phone, even outside of normal business hours, simply because she genuinely cared about making sure our project was successful. That level of dedication is almost impossible to find today. Building a home is one of the most stressful things I've ever done, but having Angela on our team made an enormous difference. Over the course of this project, she became much more than our designer--I truly consider her a friend. I can honestly say I could not have completed this project without her.
