I come and and the guy rings the bell for will call. Wait 5 minutes and no one comes. Ring again. Someone comes. He spent 10 minutes trying to find my order and couldn't. Then I had to wait 15 minutes in line and then someone wrote up my order and I went to pay for it. They told me I had to drive somewhere a few blocks away to pick up my items. Fine. I did that. And I get there and they say they are out of stock of 3 of my four items. Why did they just sell me out of stock items and not tell me. Now I have to call on the phone and convince them I didn't actually get the three items I paid for and they need to credit my card. I didn't have the time to drive 2 blocks and back wait in line again. Update: they don't take phone calls on the weekend, even though they are open. !!?! And all of this took an hour, which should have taken less than 5 minutes and completely messed up my whole day of scheduled events.

Manufactured homes are notorious for having the cream of the crap and oddball products for manufacturing the homes. Chris was the whiz that worked there, he was able to get the correct faucet stems and accompanying parts to make my plumbing job much easier. Unlike the large big box hardware stores that offer no customer service, Chris was able to grind/cut off the older faucet parts to find out what replacements I needed. This alone was value that a big box hardware store could not offer. These guys are great at this store.

Kruses always has the best selection of baby chicks in the area, ranging from all the expected breeds to those wacky and rare ones too. Seeing all of them made my head spin because I really had no idea what the breeds looked like as adults nor what kind of eggs or temperaments to expect. The staff was super helpful and showed me a big chart on the wall detailing it all! We ended up with 10 and 2 ducks, representing 5 breeds! I decided I wanted a third of one breed (buff brahma) and sent a friend to get it but they sent her home with the wrong one. Oh well. We got an extra solid egg layer so it makes no difference. I hear they can get just about any breed you want, so be sure to ask. I'm headed back soon because I need some more food for these little gals! I love Kruses!

He received all the help he needed, but my experience was completely different. The moment I picked up an item in the camping aisle and handed it to my husband, who was carrying the basket, I noticed employees watching me. One employee kept their eyes on me for over 10 minutes. It got to the point where I had to make eye contact and stare back because I felt so uneasy. As a brown Asian customer shopping with my Caucasian husband, I couldn't help but feel like I was being singled out. The employees were constantly talking on their radios while watching me. They may have thought they were being subtle, but it was obvious. Whether intentional or not, I was left feeling as though I was being treated like I was stealing, and it completely ruined my shopping experience. No customer should leave a store feeling singled out or uncomfortable. This happened roughly 2-3 weeks ago, and I haven't been back since. Even though the store is only about a minute from my house, I refuse to shop there again. There are plenty of other places that know how to treat customers with respect.

Some items were sold out, probably due to Black Friday sales. Very friendly staff. Smaller store. Can be a bit of a "squeeze" getting around the clothes.
