This place is ok. I don't love it. After reading some reviews I see I could have had a worse experience. I bought floors for our 3,000 sq ft house (minus bathrooms) from here only because they were the only ones who had the specific look that I wanted. I tried to find it elsewhere but could not find it. The sales man was nice but I felt like it was commission based and he made it appear like he was cutting me "one hell of a price" (he repeated often) when it was probably just the normal price. I don't like stuff like that. I do appreciate that they work with synchrony bank and I was able to get a 0% 2 yr loan for the floors and install. I would have never been able to afford it otherwise. And I hate paying interest. The install went pretty well. I did have them come in three different phases over time. Like 6-9 months of time. When you are remodeling the whole house and Taking out walls that just how that works. The install guys didn't like that becuase they couldn't get paid until it was complete. I was like, well I have paid so it's not my issue. I have gone back to this place twice to get some matching extra baseboards. They no longer have any record of doing my house or any product I bought from them becuase they switched software companies or something. That's super shady. Especially because I was supposed to have a warranty. This made finding matching baseboards hard. Luckily the guys had left one small cover piece for when I redo the bathrooms. Like a perfect cut to get started. The second time I went to get baseboards this new worker ( they have high staff turnover) took forever to pull up my account and said that some other baseboard was what I bought. He brought it out. No way was that what I bought. They had it wrong in their system. I had to drive home, get the little scrap and bring it in. Next the lady helped me and she got what I needed and loaded it for me. When I got home I saw one of them had a huge gouge in the bottom of it (solid wood). Back to the store I had to go again. Definitely check the baseboard they are selling. I often see it scraped, stained etc and the sell it like that. It really should be a brand new perfect piece if your buying it new. read more

It's more of a commercial type product rather than a home type product (Ricardo, insert name of product here) and I really love it. I want to first preface that this is my FIRST EVER review on here. I don't leave reviews.. until now thanks to this experience. Things started off great- Evan cut us a deal on the cost of the LVP flooring and they were able to get to work on our home within three weeks. He also worked hard to get us the LVP we wanted since it was currently out of stock at their store. This was for a 900+ square foot home minus bathrooms. Things that went entirely wrong during the project: When the workers showed up, they didn't even know what rooms they were demolishing- we had to tell them everything. Major holes in the dry wall were left behind the oven and fridge- please see pictures. Broken kitchen sink knob- no longer can get cold water. Glue stains on floors that were impossible to get out. Sand/dirt covered everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. 3 sweeps and mopping and still it is everywhere i.e, no clean up. Broken laundry doors. Poor communication throughout entire project- i.e., unsure when they were coming to start the job, (which we needed notice to figure out our work schedules) they didn't communicate which direction the floor was going, didn't communicate about us trying to stay in the home during the demo and what that entailed, not returning calls without pestering. Yes, the entire house got done within TWO DAYS- demo and completion of floor install BUT it felt and looked rushed due to all the damage. Please see below for the NIGHTMARE PART. You won't even believe what happened: they took the refrigerator water line and not only didn't plug it back into the fridge, but they SEALED IT INTO BRAND NEW BASEBOARDS IN OUR KITCHEN CABINET and therefore UNDER THE BRAND NEW FLOORING. We had ZERO idea because the fridge was back in place and plugged back in and they didn't communicate anything about the appliances. So, for 6 ENTIRE DAYS, every time we used the sink, water was pumping underneath our new floors. When we finally realized what happened because water was flooding up through the planks, we moved the oven back and just stepping on the floor, water would gush out from under. My husband had to literally take a knife to cut the baseboard open to pry the waterline out from it. The worst part is it took everything for me to fight them on this. They minimized the entire situation and made me feel like an idiot the entire time. At first Oscar would say "it's not our job to plug in appliances after the install" which we later confirmed was incorrect- they were supposed to. Also, that was not the point- the point is that they sealed it basically to go under the new flooring. Who does that???? Why???? I eventually talked to Sorin, his boss, who only agreed to pull up a small section of the kitchen LVP and fan it out and reuse all the padding and LVP that's been SOAKING IN WATER for 6 DAYS. The sub flooring was soaked and despite the fans, it has continued to smell in our house. After fighting these guys for days and feeling unheard, unseen, made to feel stupid, I began to feel honestly depressed. I don't make a lot of money, and this has been a dream of mine to do- it took me four years to save up for this. Finally, I tried calling Evan from LL Flooring again and he finally picked up. Despite his condescending tone (and despite him being "buddies" with the contractors) someone finally listened, and he agreed with me, that the contractors, Artisan, should not be using the old LVP and padding that was soaked. Finally, a small win. Finally. SOMETHING. Now that they've finally agreed to redo the kitchen area, my husband cannot get ahold of Oscar to coordinate him to return. Oscar responded saying that he has "too many big projects to do" and isn't sure when he can get his guys back to fix the damage. We have a family trip we've taken time off for this weekend so are we supposed to cancel our trip now because they don't want to prioritize completing the original job and fixing the damage they caused? Talk about making us feel secondary this entire time. Talk about only prioritizing making money and not the customer. Once they finally returned to reinstall everything, the section under the fridge is now uneven and certain planks sink down when you step on them. After saving up for four years and paying in full, this is the experience we got? The floors aren't even finished correctly and we already have issues with it. So incredibly disheartening, stressful, and depressing. I would not recommend this company. Well turns out, they're going bankrupt anyways- I see why. read more

I don't normally post bad reviews... instead I like to reach out to the company to express my bad experience. In this case, I feel like I have to reach out to potential customers and let them know about my experience with this Lumber Liquidators. My wife and I needed some flooring, so my brother and my wife went to this location as my brother recommended Lumber Liquidators since he has used them numerous times. This unfortunately was not a good experience as he tried to work with the manager to select a good product that was in stock. They were showed some samples, but the manager couldn't answer some simple questions regarding the padding. My brother asked if he could see a real piece instead of the sample, but the manager said we would have to purchase a whole box. She mentioned this was thick padding and was a good product and easy to install. Since we were in a bit of a time crunch, we trusted her and purchased about 40 boxes. As soon as my brother opened the box and began to install, he realized the padding was super thin and it was not that easy to install. My brother has installed a lot of flooring, so I trust his judgement regarding this. The color was off from the samples that were shown to us. My brother didn't feel good installing an inferior product, so we decided to take the flooring back to see if we could exchange for another product. My brother tried to explain the situation to the manager, but she said that a 25% restocking fee would be charged. Normally, we understand that, but in this situation, we felt this restocking fee could be waived. At no point, did the manager say we could purchase another product and that this fee would be applied to it. She said we would have to pay this fee regardless of what we did and did not mention we would receive credit towards another purchase. She was very unprofessional about this whole situation, so my brother tried to work with another employee, but there wasn't anything in stock that my brother felt comfortable purchasing. I reach out to customer service, but they just backed the store manager's account of the whole situation. They offered for us to purchase another product and have the restocking fee applied to the purchase, but we were already soured about the whole situation that we had gone elsewhere. I get this whole restocking fee or as the store calls it Shipping Fee, but in this situation with the product already on the shelves, there was not any "Shipping Fees" needed. I got the whole run around about them having to rewrap the pallet and then reship it to another store, but this product was already in the store sitting in their warehouse. What would they have done if we purchased 1 box? Would they have opened the shrink wrap to retrieve the box from the pallet? I just felt there could have been some comprise to this situation. We ended up having to purchase the 1 box we opened, the 25% restocking fee or "Shipping fee", and we originally purchased a floor cutter. Almost $1k in total that we paid. Looks like they got the best of us. Y Yes, I'm bitter... Please do your homework before going to this location and be on alert when dealing with the manager... she doesn't really know what she's selling. Instead, I would get with another one of the employees who is more knowledgeable about the products and the policies. read more

I had been wanting to replace my floor since I moved here 15 years ago. I hate carpet. I installed it for a few months when I was younger and after tearing out carpets in too many homes I was convinced it was the nastiest thing in the world that just stores a lifetime of dirt. I love hardwood, but it's gotten so expensive and it's expensive to maintain so I checked out Lumber Liquidators and decided on CoreLuxe Ultra 8mm Tobacco Road Acacia. This is a vinyl plank with a distressed wood texture that looks amazing. It took the crew 3 days to install about 2000 square feet and when finished, my floors looked amazing, especially with the taller baseboards. I'm a foodie, and this may be my 1st review of a non-food establishment, yay me :) After the installation of some vinyl plank stair nose pieces, we noticed that several pieces had bubbled up. After speaking with the installer, he indicated it was a manufacturer (mfr) defect and that we would have to file a claim with the mfr to get the replacement pieces. He said when the new pieces come in, he would charge $200 in labor to fix it. I had purchased all of our flooring from LL of Reno. I called and spoke with Evan, he said that he would send me the stair nose replacement pieces at no charge. However, if we filed a claim with the mfr, he would not be able to help as the process would be in the mfr's hands; he informed me that I would be charged for the mfg. inspection and then would have to wait for the claim to be processed. I decided to forego the claim process and accept Evan's offer for the replacement pieces and just pay $200 to my installer to fix he issue without the claim hassle. This next part is the reason I had to share this review. Evan decided that he would also reimburse my credit card $200 to pay for the reinstallation of the pieces and added $20 for my troubles.......Wow! You typically only get that type of thoughtfulness/service from family. Lumber Liquidators of Reno just earned a lifetime customer, and I will recommend them to all my friends and family. Went in to check out their laminate flooring. A young man was helping me when another man jumped in to give me more details on each type of flooring. I was impressed with the top floor that he sold me on except their were very few choices to pick from. I mentioned that I did not like the one's they had and if they had other colors or styles. They didn't so I had to eliminate that variety. The next step down had lots to choose from in most colors and styles but when I asked the Manufacturer for these floors I was told it is their own product. He pointed to a name on the planks and I did not recognize the company. I know the main brands like Pergo and Mohawk but I knew nothing about the products they carry and even looked at their website to find more information but with no luck. The prices were the same as some of the other flooring companies in Reno and those places could tell me the Manufacturer. I really did not want to take a chance on a floor company that I had never heard of before and with no real track record when I needed floors that were waterproof. I have had bad luck in the past with waterproof floors buckling if water sat on them for any length of time and with kids coming over and a dog, I needed to be certain the floor would hold up. read more

"Looks like I'm the fool again, I don't like it." - Tom Petty Tom was talking about love, but for me, I'm talking about a national chain that simply has not lived up to expectations. Mind you, some of this is my problem, and so this will be a cautionary tale for you. This story starts over two years ago when we are remodeling my home. Lumber Liquidators is having a sale that is very appealing, and they are providing a great deal on financing. The process begins, and, as I'm a novice with a sort of odd floor plan, I have them come out and measure my house prior to my purchase to ensure that I get the right amount. The young man arrives at the appointed time, measures, gives me details about all I need, and I show up at the store and buy what he told me to. I'm spending something like $8,000 for the product alone, on sale. I finance a huge chunk of the purchase and pay cash for the rest. As home, do it yourself remodels go, this project took a long time, and I only recently finished the floor. Now here is where it get's frustrating. I've got over $800 worth of extra, un-opened, factory quality, wood left over. This is beautiful stuff, I have no qualms with the quality of the product. Now, I know it's been two years, but I'm thinking that there is something the store can do for me. I was wrong. No help. They told me to post it on Craig's list and a builder might want to take it off my hands. Yea, that's a great plan. I tell the Assistant Manager on the phone to please brainstorm all possible options and give me a call the next day. That never happens either. So, I buy $8,000 worth of floor, I pay $100 to have somebody they recommend do the measuring, I buy what I was told to buy, I store it properly for two years, I install it well, and they will not take back or credit me for the extra unopened boxes of wood. You might be wondering, 'what does the purchase order allow?' This is a great question. I re-read the agreement, and, sure enough, that's what is written in the fine print. There is a brief period of time, 90 days or so, in which to return unopened and new products. This is the part that I need to own. What was I expecting? I guess I was expecting compassion, a buyback program, some sense that they understood what I was going through. In short, something more than I got. Is the product good? Yes, heck I think it's great. My only hope at this point is that you get to benefit from my frustration. Read the contract, install in a timely fashion, and don't expect a lot of compassion from the retail outfit. I might buy their product again, but it's hard to imagine right now. read more

Found a good price on some flooring on their website and placed the order there. Be careful with their 5% off promo, it doesn't work on a lot of their flooring we were interested in. After placing the order the estimated time for store pickup was 5-7 business days. With a note saying they would call when it was available for pickup or you could check online. After waiting for 13 days and not hearing anything from them I checked online and it said it was all available but still call in to confirm. Called in and was told it was all there and ready for pickup. Make sure to call ahead so they can have your order pulled and ready, thankfully I told them we were coming down after we spoke on the phone for the order status. Upon arriving, there was no one in the showroom for a good 5-10 mins. An associate finally came out and directed us to the back for pickup. Come to find out there was still a part of our order that had not arrived yet so they advised they would have to ship it to us. A bit inconvenient but with the flooring having to acclimate we are hoping it arrives by the time we are ready to install it. read more

Lumber Liquidators- This locations has its ups and downs, like most places but there are most goods than bads. But from your first step in your welcomed by a wonderful staff whom are very nice polite an very helpful to every customer. One of the staffs approached my wife and I an asked what we were looking for? What styles? an colors? He even offered us some samples. So after browsing around an getting some samples which they offer for *Free* to any customers, which I think is amazing on how the customer would be able an take it home an see just how it would look on their floors. We got about (4) samples and as we were getting ready to leave the staff went over too with us where you could pay $25.00 and Lumber Liquidators would come out to your house and do an assessment on how much materials will be needed, how long it takes and how much the cost would be. So the only bad issues about this location, is the location and the way to get to the front of the location but overall I appreciate what this company has and will offer when the time comes, I will definitely be shopping here when I get ready to do my next flooring job, I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for great prices and great quality of products. read more

LL Flooring installed over 700 sq ft of oyster shell travertine in an older home. The floor had was not level, as in many older homes, so they glued the rigid vinyl in place. I'm thrilled with their work. They undercut around the fireplace and stairwell, which eliminated the dreaded quarter room trim. The flooring looks fantastic, is easy to clean, and really brightened up my room. I found the installers to be professional and very good at their work. read more

After 4 flooring places I found the product. Least expensive and best quality at lumber liquidators. Was there 5 minutes and purchased what i needed. The bummer is the transition pieces I came to pick up today were not in stock. 3 week wait. Would have been good to know up front or would have got different product... should be more aware of what's in stock. The company made it right so I changed my 3 stars to 5 thank you read more
