This review is strictly for Shannon. My family and I were loyal to Home Depot, my sister had a credit card and when she paid it off, they closed her account. We intended to keep purchasing from them but took it as a sign and started coming to Lowe's. We finally are getting a laundry room! The hot days in the laundry mat are over!!! Well not really because we have those Mexican blankets and you know we need industrial washer and dryers for those bad boys. Anyway, came in and we were overwhelmed. My sister did know she wanted a Maytag or another old school brand. Shannon came up to us like some angel sent from the home building/keeping Heaven. Shannon absolutely answered every question we had and more. She seriously puts the care in customer care. Wasn't pushy, she was patient. Wasn't uninformed, she was knowledgeable. She helped me open up a credit card (hello, good credit!) and there we got our washer and dryer! So easy and seriously a pleasure working with Shannon. Couldn't help but notice her award patches on her vest... she absolutely earned them. Give the woman a raise, please! I have had three more encounters with Lowe's employees and let's just say they weren't the best. BUT I came back because of Shannon and as fate would have it, she helped me again with some cabinetry order I was having trouble with. Again, here she comes but from cabinetry heaven this time. She is now working in doors and I am so glad our home is like the Winchester home because your girl here is about to take all the doors down just so Shannon could help me. In all honesty, we don't shop in Pico because of the taxes. I don't care about that anymore. Good help is hard, nearly impossible to come by these days. Extremely grateful to Shannon and her stellar customer service/care. Truly, she is a gem. I'll follow up with cabinetry and washer/dryer deliveries and update my review. Thank you again Shannon. We have the honor of working on our 100 year old childhood home and bringing it back to its glory seemed like such a huge feat. Days we were so defeated because we didn't know so much but when you come across people who genuinely want to help you, those seemingly impossible, difficult feats turn into something manageable and not so daunting. Lowes in Pico Rivera town center is double charging me for 2 refrigerators. I only bought one which turned out to be defective. I went back bought another one. I was promised by the a supervisor because of the stress and the inconvenience, that I would receive a discount. That was in the latter part of March before Easter. Everything in the store is clean and organized so if u look online ahead of time u can pretty much find things right away. The service time it takes for anything u buy that is locked away is atrocious. Without any exaggeration it took 20 minutes for someone to show up to unlock the item I wanted to purchase. The worker that came out to help me apologized and was really nice about it and it just seems they are under staffed. I WAS a customer and attempted to purchase 3 major appliance (wash tower), stove with premium installation and a dishwasher. PROBLEMS EVERY TIME! Lowes outsources the installation process and the delivery process to 3rd party vendors-what could possible go wrong??? EVERY FREAKING THING! The wash tower delivery window was 2:30pm-6:30pm, I arrived at the house at 1:30pm and there was a sticker that said they missed me????? I had to call corporate and speak with so many people before they came back! The dishwasher was delivered damaged so they could not install and the stove was delivered to the wrong location (not the Valencia fulfilment center, but the store)! I would tell anyone who wants to invest in appliances to RUN as far and as fast as possible- AWAY from Lowes!!! I recently had a very frustrating experience at Lowe's on 05/08/2025. I purchased several items that were clearly marked as being on sale, but I was charged full price at checkout. I noticed the discrepancy once I got to my car, so I immediately returned to the store to request a refund of the difference. I showed a customer service associate a photo of the sale signs and presented my receipt as proof. The associate, Lupe, responded by expressing suspicion about the transaction and questioned the validity of my claim without cause. She essentially told me she couldn't believe that multiple items were charged at full price, that there was no way to confirm the photos were taken in-store, and no way to verify that they were taken on the same day. To further prove my point, I showed her the photo metadata, which included the date, time, and geolocation. Despite this, she continued to act suspiciously, though she begrudgingly began processing a refund of the difference. While attempting to process the refund, her computer froze. Lupe informed me that nothing could be done until the system unfroze--without offering any alternatives or timeline. Despite multiple requests for another solution, she simply told me I had to wait. When I asked if I was expected to wait indefinitely, she shrugged and said she didn't know. After I persistently asked for further assistance, a supervisor was finally called. Assistant Store Manager Manny Gomez arrived, was briefed on the situation, and asked how he could help. I explained that I just needed the refund and asked if there was any other possible solution. He echoed the same response: the system was frozen, nothing could be done, and I just had to wait. I was baffled. I again emphasized how frustrating it was to be accused of dishonesty by the associate and questioned how an item marked on sale could scan at full price. Manny responded dismissively, saying, "Well, we have over 60,000 items in the store and things happen." He remained unwilling to explore any alternative and continued to insist that I wait. I expressed my frustration and told him I couldn't believe how he was speaking to me. I said I was certain he wouldn't speak to a higher-up in the same manner. He replied that it didn't matter if it was me or a higher-up--he would respond the same way. He repeated, "There are over 60,000 products in the store, and things happen." Finally, after much back-and-forth, Manny suggested calling someone--either HQ or Lowe's Tech Support (I'm unsure which)--and the issue was resolved within minutes. It took over 40 minutes to reach that solution, which is completely unacceptable. If the solution was that simple, Manny should have taken initiative from the start. Instead, he insisted I wait for a frozen computer and held up the line for other customers. Throughout this process, I felt accused and misunderstood--especially when Lupe questioned my integrity despite clear photo evidence. The most frustrating part was the staff's unwillingness to offer proactive solutions and their expectation that I simply comply. The entire experience was unnecessarily unprofessional. Based on the numerous negative reviews this particular Lowe's location receives, it's evident that this is a reflection of the broader leadership culture. Their behavior shows a disregard for professionalism and customer service, which ultimately drives customers away and tarnishes the Lowe's brand. I hope Lowe's HQ takes this seriously. It's obvious that the people in leadership roles at this location need thorough training on how to handle customer concerns more efficiently and respectfully. read more

The bag was torn and a nice sales person told me I MAY be able to get 50% off, he was kind and taped the bag for me. When I went to checkout in the nursery area, I was told he can only give me15% off. I commented I was told MAYBE 50%. He said go to the customer service and ask the manager they may give you 50%. When I went to customer serve, (waited in line), I was told by a Lady manager she can only give me 10%!! I said, frist I was told 50%, then I was offered 15% now you're offering me 10%, I remarked it was bad customer service to keep lowering the %.... this was bad customer service with this manager, I wish I would've got her name!!! I usually give these mass warehouse stores three stars. But this time I'm gonna give this Lowe's visit five stars because the worker in the tile island. (bald gentleman) in the tile department was great. I asked him a question that no one has been able to answer and he answered it perfectly and quickly. Good job they also have my topsoil for two dollars miracle grow 3/4 foot and the tile guy or flooring guy hooked me up to the stuff I needed. Checkout was fast. Even know they only had four self service registers open. Or you can go to a person at the return desk. read more

I had a wonderful experience. The indoor and outdoor section is at least twice the size of Home Depot with much greater selection. Staff are plenty and friendly. It's like visiting a nursery, floor and decor, and Home Depot all in one place. I love the selection as well for pool management and Landscaping including different kinds of mulch and rocks and things of that nature. I went there yesterday and unfortunately had to go back because I forgot something but the staff were very friendly particularly a woman named Maria in garden dept. I was looking for a very specific thing and she knew exactly where to find it. Again the garden center is incredible. If you're looking for a wide variety of species this is the place. I went to the garden center of Walmart in Downey Pico Rivera, local nurseries in Santa Fe Springs and in Downey and the variety of plants even there was not match to what I saw here at the Pico Rivera Lowe's garden center. On August 23, 2025, Lowe's contracted RCR Construction (later to find out that RCR has bad reviews, some connected to LOWES) to install a new fence and gate at our property. Our credit card was charged the full amount ($2,765.95) eight days BEFORE the scheduled installation. The work performed is unacceptable and appears fraudulent: They damaged and destroyed our concrete. The installed fence is wobbly and improperly secured. The final product does not match the images and specifications Lowe's provided before purchase -- a clear bait-and-switch. The lock is defective and there are scratches and damage throughout the installation area. We have submitted hundreds of photos, videos, texts, and other evidence documenting these issues. We have been patient and persistent. We repeatedly called, emailed, and texted Lowe's and RCR with documentation of the damage. Lowe's assigned a representative, Daisia Willoughby, who after hours of communication offered only $100 as a resolution. This amount is offensive and wholly inadequate given the damage and the cost to properly repair and replace the work. SHAME ON LOWES! Lowe's is responsible for the actions of their subcontractor, RCR Construction. RCR has numerous negative reviews, and Lowe's failure to properly supervise or ensure quality work by their chosen contractor has left us with damaged property and an unsafe fence. We request the following remedies: Repair the damaged concrete to a professional standard. Remove and correctly reinstall the fence and gate to match the images and specifications Lowe's originally provided. Replace or properly repair the defective lock and address all scratches and damage caused during installation. We were at Lowes, in Pico Rivera earlier this morning. We needed help in getting a couple of cans of spray. We waited. We waited. We waited! We asked for assistance twice, even though the place was pretty empty. We waited over 20 minutes for a person to come after numerous attempts of calling for assistance! We ended up leaving. Online ordering has been a saving grace for me when shopping at this Lowe's. The items are always available with in their self-service locker pick-up or by going to their Customer Service counter. Ship-to-Store is also an option and a great way to avoid saving on shipping fees. I did have one experience when the tracking number stated the item had been received and the store clerk said they item was never delivered. However, a manager finally resolved the issue for me. I love Home Depot, but Lowe's offers some items that have a bit more style such as ceiling fans and exterior lights. Customer service here has been great. If you are looking for a specific item, you can go to their store website and find out if the item is in stock and see what aisle it is located in. This negative review is only for their automated phone service; the live staff are very helpful. The automated phone service is the worst I've experienced, as it doesn't understand simple commands such as "extension 4500" (I do not have an accent, if that matters). I tried "appliances" and it looks up a random item number. I tried "dryer" and it wastes time explaining the website. I tried keying in "4500" and it said "I'm sorry, I didn't understand that. I finally got it to understand "associate" and I waited for as the phone rang for 7 minutes. Again, the person answering the phone was very helpful and explained she's the only person answering the phone, so I don't blame her for the delay. I don't understand why the associates provide their extension number if we can't be connected to them. whatever happened to "dial 4 if you know your party's extension"? I was told to call. Purchased some items for a bathroom remodel and ended up not using them. Items were still in box unused but we're just past the 90 day return policy they have.
