I bought a dishwasher from Lowes on July 06, 2024. Lowes hired CRST to deliver and install it. The installers damaged the dishwasher (dents) and did a deep scratch on my wood floors. The installer told us he would call me to come and touch up the scratch. But the scratch was deep and a touch up would not be enough. The same day of delivery I called Lowes and they had me to work directly CRST. The installers were in my house about six hours for a routine job (this shows you how well trained they are). CRST told me they would send someone out to replace dishwasher and close to THREE MONTHS LATER it has not happened. They had me purchase a new one and I would get reimbursed when the damaged one was returned. They sent me about six emails with a delivery date and every time they don't come. I sent pictures of the damage and they asked me to get a quote for it to be repaired. CRST's Christopher Matthews wrote: " Johnny, I just spoke with Jordan. We are going to issue a check for the damage claim. He just wants to make sure you submitted everything..." Then, at every turn CRST tried to get out of assuming responsibility. First, they said we signed a form that says there was pre-existing damage. We did, but we acknowledged damage under the sink (not the deep scratch on the floor). I reminded them that the installer called me a few days after installation (I did not take the call) in accordance that he wanted to do "touch up" . CRST asked me to show them that indeed they called. I did. Then, their response was a photo that supposedly that showed the scratch existing with my old dishwasher. Perplexed, I quickly realized that the photo was altered. In the photo they sent me the old dishwasher did not have the white insulation blanket. I sent them an image I had of the old dishwasher were you clearly see the insulation blanket. This shows that they photoshopped the picture. Then, they argued that that image I provided, showed the scratch. It did not. I wrote a 20+ page report showing they lied and altered evidence. Nothing has resulted. After countless hours I wasted trying to deal with CRST I continued to talk to Lowes Installation Support department. This also lead to countless hours of wasted time. It is important to note that I send my report to Lowe's installation support department that clearly shows that CRST has lied to me, mislead me, manipulated evidence, etc. But, they continue to ask me to deal directly with CRST. For example, a few weeks ago I talked to someone for over thirty minutes. At the end the best they could do is have me schedule an appointment with CRST to deliver the new appliance. I reluctantly did. They scheduled it and I waited again at home and it was never delivered!!! This was maybe the fourth time this happened. Today I got the following email "Just received notice from the CRST informing me that for you to send them an email to their claim department to file an appeal on the denial. If you have any questions, please call (844) 347-5053 them about your scheduled reinstall of the DW." This is absolutely ridiculous. I bought the dishwasher and paid for installation directly from Lowes. Now after all the damage, after CRST has lied to me and manipulated evidence, and three months later they still want me to deal with CRST and not deal with the problem directly. My recommendation is that you do not buy an appliance from Lowes. At least, if they will install it for you ask which sub-contractor they will hire. If they say CRST, run away.

FULL of dust from whatever the person sanded!

This place is a nightmare. Forever to get someone to open a cage for a power tool, no one recognizes a tool, & then it turns out it's used & returned CLEARLY unchecked. Bought a belt sander that was FULL of paint dust & still loaded with a belt. If that wasn't bad enough, when I brought it back to be returned the employee, Merary, was unapologetic, curt out the gate, & absurdly rude when their policy of inspecting returns was questioned. Seriously, avoid this place like the plague, but if you have to go here open & check your products before purchasing.

Avoid at all costs. Everyone is extremely slow. I only ordered from here because I had a gift card.

My family made the mistake of hiring a gypsy plumber to install a water heater when we first moved…read moreinto the area. The indirect water heater was still under warranty and the manufacturer helped trace us back to this supply house. Jim Seabaugh helped facilitate the entire transaction since the plumber was MIA. He manages the store, he's a hard worker and he's been at this location for years. He knows his stuff. If he doesn't know; he will find out. I am so grateful to have had an unfortunate blessing in disguise. I call Jim for all our plumbing needs now. I 100% trust his opinion and he has not steered us wrong on 3 separate jobs. I've known him for years and he's bailed us out each time. Thank you Jim!

This is actually a plumbing supply business. I used to go here more often earlier in my career,…read morebut now it's not my first choice when it comes to plumbing supplies. Their selection and inventory is not as good as it once was. They're okay for basic stuff, but if you need any out-of-the-ordinary plumbing items (which, on the east side of Providence, is quite often, considering the number of old houses), you are better off going elsewhere, such as Ardente Supply. One time, one of the plumbers I work with was replacing some rotted 4" cast iron drainage pipe in an old house. He stayed on the job while he sent his helper to Seekonk Supply with a list of PVC pipe and fittings. When Seekonk Supply had picked most of the order, the apprentice called the plumber to inform him that the supply house did not have one common, but critical, fitting. So, the plumber told his apprentice to leave the rest of the items there and go somewhere else. Unlike some other plumbing supply companies, I have rarely seen homeowners in here, so they seem to cater almost exclusively to trade professionals. Their parking lot is quite small, although there is on-street parking available. Over the years I've been coming here, most of the countermen - who've been a mix of older and younger guys - have been decent. Today, however, the older guy who waited on me was struggling pretty badly with a simple order. This location is actually a branch store of Seekonk Supply; their main location is in Rehoboth, Mass., and has a much wider selection of plumbing supplies, including pipe and fittings used in commercial and industrial plumbing. One good thing I can say about the Providence branch of Seekonk Supply: they are one of the few supply companies that have free coffee!
