I don't go if the item is likely to be more than $5.00. It was not what was said; it was the attitude and inflection in her voice. It dripped with sarcasm and contempt. I appreciate that I'm older and not really good with these checkout machines. I didn't solicit her assistance and didn't want or need her help or attitude; I would have figured it out.
