This store is amazing! It's worth a trip if you're in the area and need garage and home tools/ equipment. They have a members club, and the coupons and discounts can be incredible! We did have to return a winch because it was faulty, which was frustrating but it was easily exchanged. It was a few minutes before closing, and we had driven 45 minutes back to return it. We asked if we could quickly plug it in to make sure that the new one worked, there was a little resistance from the cashiers because they were closing- but we really wanted to make sure it worked correctly. This is the Walmart of tool stores - inexpensive versions off all the tools you could ever need. I think this place is great for homeowners looking for tools they will only use once or twice - you can get them here cheaply! ehh? went in my favorite store to buy some stuff for work. I had an armful of stuff and went to cashier and asked about 20 percent discount which I always get? not valid that day he said? I asked about my free micro fiber cloths? he said they ran out. this was early morning on first day of offer! I think I will give them a break for a while. kind of felt letdown. read more

Not sure if it was due to the tax free weekend semi-madness but the two female employees I encountered on my visit needed to lighten up, life is not that bad!?!? No personality and I felt like I was bothering them when I had a question and then a few moments later checked out. I did leave with what I wanted so I guess that is a plus. read more

The manager is annoying following you around in every aisle asking if you need help. It was ok the first few times but after the 4th and 5th time it's past being helpful. I get we need to be 6 feet apart but if I'm 5' 8 apart from the person in front of me and we are both wearing mask i don't need to be scolded like a child. The guy is so loud its all you can hear threw the entire store. I would rather put a gun in my mouth and blow my brains out then ever go threw that experience again. I suggest harbor freight higher a full time mental help doctor for all employees that have to work with this guy. read more

Tools tools and more tools. You can't go wrong here. If you're looking for automotive tools , tool boxes, Jack's and so much more this your place and the prices are ridiculously cheap. I get that the quality of some of this stuff is not premium but for a hobbiest like me who enjoys having a big tool box in the garage full of chrome this place is heaven. Its basically a toy store for dudes. This is a great place to get that tool that you know you're only going to use once. If it costs 25 bucks at Sears, it costs 8 bucks at Harbor Freight. Check their weekly ads online and print coupons for more savings. It reminded me of a Tools & More, from back in MN. Wish it wasn't so far away from Boston. read more

How could I argue with another Yelper named "Ryan B."?! Harbor Freight is the Cat's Pajamas of tool stores. I couldn't agree more with his sentiment that it's basically a toy store for dudes. The quality of some items may be lacking, but for most everyday uses their stuff is good enough to get the job done. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Why would I pay $100 for a service cart if I can get one for $40? I'll tell you why: though the $100 service cart may have a max capacity of 500 lbs if I'm just going to use the thing as an industrial-looking bar cart then why on God's green earth would I pay for more than I need? Do yourself a favor and look for coupons on their website or in a men's magazines before heading there. The 5 minutes it takes could save you a boatload of money. Just what the doctor ordered. I called computer stores and hardware stores before driving to Attleboro. All of them name-dropped this place and so I found a 5-6 inch flexible driver for twisting those hard to reach T-15 Torx screws. Not only that, but I got a complete set (by my standards). Excellent variety of products, here. Although it's true that "You get what you pay for", this rule will sometimes, but not always apply when shopping at Harbor Freight. Paying less than 1/3 the price for an entire tool kit compared an inferior Leowe's screwdriver is OK with me. read more

I love harbor freight. They have pretty much everything you need as far as tools go. Prices are pretty reasonable and they are always having a sale. I signed up for their mailing list, and I receive emails about upcoming items that are going to be on sale. I'm going to buy a few things here to use as Christmas gifts for friends and family. There was one employee, not sure if he was a manager or not but he was rude to us. We were looking at air horns and were wondering what a few of them sounded like because we wanted to purchase a new horn for my fiancé's car. This "employee" was walking by and overheard us talking and said, in a rude manner, "I can't be blasting these horns throughout MY store". Which then we proceeds to ask if was "the owner" of the store. He very rudely walked away from us. What ridiculous customer service this place has!! I've been to all of the local HFT stores. And this one is the oldest and nothing better than an "A-OK" The Natick and Brockton locations are by far the cleanest and best, while this location is just ok. The store wasn't spotless like the others, and the store seemed older and more dim inside. Joel, my cashier was friendly and quick. I was in and out of the store in 5 minutes. Dottie, one of the other employees is also very funny, knowledgeable and friendly. But, then again, none of the employees are as rad or awesome as Meg at the other Harbor Freight! Products are consistently good in price, and decent enough in quality. I wouldn't ever suggest this place though if you are buying something to last for years and years and years.... in that case go to Sears or Home Depot (or Lowe's, but the Lowe's right down the street from here is horrible!) Remember never to forget to use one of the thousand free flashlight, measuring tape, or batteries coupons! Still like the Natick and Brockton locations better, but this store is still ok. Good for the area, as the Lowe's up the street is TERRIBLE! read more

I know that these day are busy and things change but I ordered online from them a Car Jack and in their website it said it would take about 2 weeks to deliver, but it's been almost a month they charge me but the item still waiting supposedly by FEDEX to pick, no movement for almost a week never again will I buy from them again they never answer their phone or their emails hope no one has to go thru this. read more

I purchased a 3-1 nailer that was supposed to take brad nails as well as finish nails however, I've found that the nailer does not support finish nails supplied by places like home depot or Lowes, the nail heads don't fit. I suppose Harbor Freight's finish nails will fit, but what an inconvenience. Before I purchased it I specifically asked if other brands would work with this gun and the answer was yes, but I've found that is true for brad nails only, finish nails do not work. Buyer be ware, should have spent a little more and got a quality tool. read more
