I am in love with Autumn and especially Halloween, and I truly appreciated the way they got into the spirit with fun decorations, activites (scarecrow making, pumpkin decorating, pumpkin coach ride, broomstick with a sweet halloween backdrop, perf for fun photos!) and all the adorable things for purchase. I love perusing the gift shop, there are so many cute knick-knacks and practical items that make for great gifts for others or yourself! The balance of $50 is due when your tree is picked up. When you return for your tree they cut it down for you and wrap it up for easy transport. You don't have to tag a tree, you can just come and get one fresh cut that same day. There are plenty of fields with different varieties and during peak season they also have cocoa as well as some other holiday items. They also offer a small selection of fresh cut trees for $40!! This was my first visit to a nursery to actually purchase large shrubs and plants so I went having no idea exactly what I wanted nor what anything was called. First off I have to say if you visit you must ask for Norma. She was incredibly helpful and took all the time needed to help me pick out exactly the style I had in my mind and wether it would thrive in the area I wanted to put it. She also knows everything there is to know pretty much about every plant, shrub, flower, etc. I brought her photos and measurements of where I was putting the plants and she patiently helped me look all over the nursery to find what would fit and look best. Pricing on all of the items I took home were very reasonable. She also gave me all instruction on how to plant the shrubs and all necessary compost and growing starter. I brought the shrubs home and placed them where she told me to and it is going to look perfect when they are planted. I had an excellent experience and will be returning for future projects I'm planning. I would recommend redwood to anyone looking for some great ideas and plants for they're home.
