This place is AMAZING! We stumbled upon it on our way back home from another nursery up the road, and we pulled up when we saw it was jam-packed with people. They have pretty much everything -- great selection of perennials, annuals and vegetables & herbs, and all at super-reasonable prices. Like, better than Home Depot on sale. We got tons of veggies that we hadn't found elsewhere, like leeks, and we also bought beautiful new perennials for our front yard. We didn't really hold back and kept throwing plants in our cart, and we paid around $50 for the lot. Service was also super friendly! I look forward to many more visits. read more

Good farm market with great produce and prices. We picked up some freshly picked ears of corn (which were a perfect blend of sweet and starchy), delicious flat beans and yellow beans, and prodigious Swiss chard leaves. Ranks of mums were growing under the summer sun, readying for the fall season. Very pleasant staff. read more

As always, great selection and well stocked. Would like to have been able to contact, but number was no longer in service. Also the Facebook page hadn't been updated so we had no idea when they opened for the season. Took a ride and luckily they were open. read more

If you're looking for fresh mums or parsley or if your idea of personal nirvana involves endless rows of both, have I got the place for you! If people loved mums the way they do roses or orchids, I think this place would be a national destination. This is an outstanding place if you're looking for mums or Italian parsley because that's pretty much all they had when I went. They had some decorative cabbage and seasonal veggies for sale as well. I get and respect that they focus on seasonal vegetables and flowers but this was taken to an extreme that was the stuff of parody. I have to say though, the mums and parsley looked really fresh. Take your grandparents here, I think they'd love it. read more

I go here frequently because it is not too far from the house. I say frequently but I mean seasonally. They have quite a few plants in the spring and they have the pumpkins and the mums in the fall along with other fall plants. The plants that they sell are usually healthy and well kept. They sell the bags and the hangers with plants in them. The people who work there are very very nice and they offer hand sanitizing and everyone wears a mask. I think the prices are pretty good but they just lack a little bit of the variety that another store down the street has so sometimes I get torn between going to that store or this one. I really like the people at both so I kind of decide to share my shopping between the two unless there's some thing I absolutely need at the other one and then I go there. But I always like the plants here and I always like the people and the parking is very easy and close which is good for me with my bad knees. It's a good place to go when you're out in the area doing your pumpkin hunting or apple picking or corn mazes if they still have those. read more

This is my go to place. Their flowers and veggie plants are amazing. Not organic but still good and I can manage pesticides and such from how I grow them. Love their prices and selection. They are only open during the growing season so call to see if they're open if it's a weird time of year. read more

I have been to a lot of farm stands in this state and they are all pretty good in their own ways, but this, this is a true Farm Stand with just out of the dirt freshness and prices that are about as low. The farm is behind the farm stand, from there, to the cash register to your mouth. Now, onto the plants. You can not find them cheaper or healthier. I dare you to try. read more

The best flowers and plants in RI!!! The selection is overwhelming with varieties from tomatoes to perennials! The flower carts are easy to maneuver through the the greenhouses and the service is excellent!!! The staff is very knowledgable about all the plants and advise for the best growing results is very helpful. Highly Recommend. read more

After passing by here numerous times, I decided to stop in to have a look. I was looking for curled parsley which I haven't been able to find this year at other places such as big box retailers. To my excitement they have curled parsley here! This place has a great and large selection of vegetable plants, flowers, and a few others. The quality of the plants is top notch. I must say all the plants look healthy and well taken care of, unlike Home Depot or Lowe's whose plants look half dead already. I definitely recommend Al's, you won't be disappointed. I tell all of my patients, who have a full view of the garden at my office, about Al's! I've been coming there for almost 10 years and never have had a problem with their plants. I LOVE Al's greenhouse! This is where I make my yearly trip to get all of my annuals. I can't imagine going anywhere else. The price is right and their plants are healthy. I purchased plants at one of the big box stores years ago. I was invaded with bugs and fungus. Local is the way to go!!! read more

R.I is my Home Town, but I lived in S.FlL for 30 years.As soon as I moved back here all I wanted to do is Plant Flower's & Veggies! I Researched many places until I could find 1 that had IT ALL!! "Al's Greenhouse!"! His girl's are Sweet, Very Helpful & Extremely Knowledgable! The Flower's and Vegetable's are so Beautiful (You will want to but every thing they have & and Lord know's they have Every thing!They grow all Flowers, Produce & Herb's on their Farm.
