This place is every plant lovers dream, it's like walking into the rainforest, they have plants galore and even some adorable animals! They have 2 birds and koi fish and it fits the setting so beautifully. When you walk into you are kindly greeted, we met Adam who was a peach! There actually were quite a few employees, always around and willing to help, because plant galore is an understatement. Every plant is labeled and you can tell WELL taken care of. Adam and another gentlemen were watering the plants while we were there and you could tell, everything here is done in a very particular and careful way- I love that. When I say TONS of plants of all kinds I mean it. While my mother has a green thumb, and I just don't have plants because my cats will eat anything- I learned after the fact their website shows names and pictures of plants they have that are pet-friendly, so I want to indeed go back and grab some. This place you can get easily be in for a while especially if you look at everything. They also have pots and things of that nature and little trinkets and stuff. They also have a little area to grab Honey related drinks called The Hive Bar I wrote a review on this business. Feel free to check it out they're awesome and an amazing touch for this place. I 100% say go check this place out. Any questions, just ask an employee they're all so kind and know their stuff. Adam had all the answers we needed. Oh and I was shocked the prices were extremely reasonable, my mom left with a really cool plant- and I plan on bringing her again soon.

When I asked the owner how much the rewards were worth, he became instantly irritated Instead of answering a simple question, he wanted to just give me 50% off and refused to allow me to redeem them. he began screaming and swearing at me--in front of my daughter and ultimately threw me out of the store. He escalated quickly, coming around the counter and getting in my face in an aggressive and threatening manner. It was completely unprofessional, uncalled for, and frankly, alarming. My daughter was shaken and I was stunned. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of behavior from anyone, let alone a business owner. I was simply trying to support a small business and redeem my awards from being a loyal customer.

Before we were going to leave, we looked for the restroom. When we found it, the entire hallway leading to it was dark and had been blocked off with room dividers and a sign saying out of order. We made a joke about it because it had the look of a closed off area, not just temporarily out of order. We were exiting the store, walking past the checkout area when an associate, a middle aged woman who had the look of being some kind of shift supervisor, basically wanted to start a confrontation with us. As we were walking past, well within proximity for us to hear her, she made a comment to a young associate that seemed to be about us joking about the restroom out of order sign. We turned to clarify what she had said and she repeated that we made some joke about the restrooms being closed. We did not engage with her and left. I went back to the vestibule area to look in to see her name tag, but I couldn't see one. Then we left. I had planned to write to Ollie's corporate but found on their website a rigid format to leave positive remarks but no interest expressed in hearing other feedback. As I tried to find a way to communicate with them, I learned that they have some very unpleasant actions against them, touching on discrimination and other unpleasantness. At that point it seemed that this kind of employee may be just the expression of their management, and I decided not to try to correspond with them. Then I came to Yelp and saw the recent review and comment about the restrooms having been closed since June of 2025. I suspected when this happened that she was particularly sensitive about the restrooms being closed. It appears that Ollie's has developed a very negative culture. I would avoid them in the future.
