The online ordering is so messed up. They hit my CC with two holds and then immediately refunded them. Then hit the card with individual charges for everything. My bank flagged this as fraud and I agreed because it was very suspicious. Turns out that's just the normal idiotic way Lowe's charges things. This has cost me so much time to sort out, further time to replace my card and any auto payments attached to it. And furthermore the worst part is this will delay items I need for my bathroom remodel in turn delaying the project. Lowe's offers only apologies for this. Stole $744.24 from me after a canceled delivery with no refund. No matter how many calls I made, no matter how many times I visited the store to speak with management, I always got the runaround... "Let me look into this and I will call you with an update." Never once did anyone follow up. I must've called and visited 30 times, and today in the market for several new appliances decided to give them one last try. I spent an hour on hold with the store and another half hour on the phone with Lowes corporate customer service. It doesn't look like I'm getting anywhere with this. I've done all I can do. The people at Lowe's do not care one iota about their customers. Run far far away. Please save yourself from being fooled by Lowe's. I started this journey in March and my windows still look like trailer park trash. No one communicates with each other. Have my windows even been ordered? Lowe's doesn't even know at this point. I tried sending numerous emails and complaint letters, it's gotten me no where. I wish I went with castle windows and paid extra. Now I'm stuck with crap service from Lowe's. Who knows if they will ever be replaced. Solid home improvement store with a random bit of stock here and there of materials - a bit messy in the aisles and on the shelves, some of that due to restocking on a Thursday morning, but otherwise easy enough to navigate around. poor! i was lied to an taken afvantage of in a brutal fragile moment. as my fridge died unexpectedly and your moving boyd failed to communicate they do not connect water contined speaking in spaniah yelling consistently, broke a table on the way out, ripped tbr kitchen floor and scratched up my new one. i am fumming with the terrible experience ontop of the fact i was given a $25 gift card which covers none of the damage or thr fact i had to expedite a plumber to hook up the water on the new refrigerator as they disconnected the old one. fumming in anger and disappointment is an understatement as you charged me $70 for delivery!!zero stars if i could. read more

I have had a business account with Lowe's for eight years. My card was cancelled for inactivity because I did not use it for a couple of months. I called to reinstate but was told that they cannot do that and I would have to apply for a new card all over again. This is how Lowe's treats their loyal customers. The good: the employees try to be helpful to a much greater degree than those of the ugly orange box. The bad: Inventory is poor and the website may show large quantities in stock when in fact there are none of the item available. Items are frequently in locations other than those shown on the app. When we ordered a washing machine, the delivery subcontractors rolled up with the wrong model on the first attempt but the right one was delivered and installed the next day with no issues. read more

My husband, a Veteran, and I ordered cabinets on May 11,2022 in the Hanover Ave, Morris Plains NJ store. After 3 months of no communication we pursued the order. Only to find out they were never ordered by Mona. The store manager Ryan, repeatedly lied to us, dodged phone calls and in store visits. After contacting Diamond directly, we were informed they were only ordered on 8/17/2022. Ryan felt compensation of 32% was sufficient for all his lies and deceit. Apparently, this is good customer service! My husband and I will never set foot in a Lowes store again. And Veteran friendly is definitely not the truth! read more

New shiny perfectly stocked store with lots of people offering help in its first week. All the usual departments: electrical, plumbing, hardware, lumber, paint, blinds, flooring, appliances and a big outside garden center too. Sells Craftsman lifetime guarantee tools (not just Kobalt) which was a pleasant surprise now that sears has basically vanished. Almost every item discounted if you buy 10, a little too much for little old me, but I guess great for contractors. I've always found Lowe's to be better stocked than a certain orange big box store, just a better chance of finding what you need on the shelf. I'm really glad there's now a store close to me that's open late, open on Sundays and has essentially everything. But no touchless payment (Apple Pay) at the register, boo. read more

Positive experience with the Employees, bad experience with the store/company. I've visited this store many times over the past year or so, and I have been hoping my experiences with it would improve. They have not. It often feels like the store is perpetually short staffed. I've had numerous occasions where it has been difficult to find an employee, and it felt like the entire store was staffed by four people. There registers are almost never open, everything is self check out. Sometimes 1 register will be open. It makes propane refills very difficult, because first you have to find someone to punch in the code for a propane replacement, and then you need to get another person to open up the propane locker. My interactions with the employees of the store have been positive, which is why the store gets two stars. When possible, they have been very helpful and if someone doesn't know where something is, they typically will help me search for a coworker that does. read more

DUDE. I needed an answer to Home Depot's political donation, and... politics aside, Lowes was my answer. I love supporting small businesses, and try my best to provide regular support to local providers and using larger chains to fill in gaps in my needs, but feel I have an obligation to support chains that do good. The founder/owner of Lowe's lives that - with his recent 25 million dollar commitment to help minority-owned small businesses. Aside from this, the stores are clean, their staff is educated and approachable, and every person I've interacted with has been friendly and welcoming, even in a tense period of Covid-19 this year. We love their indoor and outdoor plant selection and they had some cleaning supplies in stock that were hard to find at other places. We've grabbed everything from a BBQ to paint to an assortment of tools and we have never had a poor experience. When I need 30 minutes to myself, I head to their Garden Center to admire some plants. Located in a large lot with ample parking - I have never seen the parking lot littered with carts. They take great care of their space (and it sounds like their team too) and I will continue to support them when I can. read more

I went to the store to purchase a new range on Monday. The sales associate was friendly and knowledgeable and the purchase went smoothly. Delivery was set up for Wednesday and on Tuesday night I was called to inform me that it would be between 1030 am and 230 pm. At 5 pm I called the store to get a delivery update. I was placed on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on. I called back and after another 25 minutes was told that the range is in transit and will be delivered by 8 pm. It's almost 8 pm as I post this review and still no delivery or any form of contact. I'll be at the store when they open to cancel the order and get a refund. I can't wait for that fight. read more

When someone does pick up, it is a completely incompetent person who does not know what they are doing so they put you on hold again. I will be going to the store to ask for a refund. My huge/heavy bathroom vanity was delivered completely cracked. I immediately called to return it for a new one and they told me my only option was to physically bring it back to the store. I can't lift it and don't have a vehicle that it will fit in. They said because Fedex delivered it, it's not Lowe's problem (even though that's the carrier they've chosen to make their deliveries). After days of 1-2 hour long calls/being on hold, they told me to get in touch with Justine at the Morris Plains store. She has always "just left for the day" and never calls back. So happy Lowe's is finally open! Aisles are very clean and organized, workers are knowledgeable and friendly. If you need help, employees are never too far, but you can also press the "help" button at the stations in the aisles and someone will join you shortly. My fiancé and I are starting some DIY jobs and received help from so many great employees. If someone did not know enough about that section, the staff member was quick to get another staff member who would guide us in the right direction. Jennifer, Richard, Carlton, Tania, Rob, and Brian were specifically helpful as we shopped in the paint, plumbing, and gardening sections. We're happy this Lowe's is so close to home and know we'll return to complete more projects! read more

All I can say is that they appear to be severely understaffed. I am taking back my comment I made recently about 6 workers standing around at Home Depot not helping at the paint desk. But Lowes has absolutely no one. We had to ask multiple people for help to make us up a gallon of custom colored paint. It took at least 15 minutes. Finally I asked where a manager was and he finally came over and actually made the paint. No apology for delays, no friendly personality, let alone not even a "hi". Then at check out another customer was complaining about no one being around to help and also no one knowledgeable who finally did help. So, not just me. Here is another erk of mine. This is by far the WORST Lowe's I have ever been to. No staff and when there is staff, they are clueless. Just filling space most of the time. No one knows where anything is. They just point and nod. Lowes told me that they do not match sales prices, and I can't return them because I spent hours installing them before I realized the bait and switch. Update on my refrigerator delivery, on Saturday the 22 nd I decided to call Lowe's about my non delivery from 3 weeks earlier,I finally got an assistant manager on the phone named Saun, he listened to me about my ordering this on June 30th, he called me back in an hour and said the store had my model and could deliver it on Sunday morning, I thanked him many times for listening when no one else could or lie to me about salesperson or store manager would call.
