    Maytag washer & dryer

    Don't buy your appliances at this place! I have had the worst experience ever with them... I literally bought my washer and dryer with all the warranties etc....moving from California into a brand new home so it took me awhile to actually try the product and when I realized that my washer was extremely loud and the dryer is hard to close after within the first week of my purchase....Lowe's management had no sympathy at all! They don't care if you're happy or not....none of the sales people ever mentioned to me that I had 48 hours to return or exchange my appliances! This is truly insane especially when that amount of time isn't even sufficient to try your appliances to see if they work for you! I believe that they should at least give you 30 days.... When I tried to explain my situation and how I just moved into a brand new home and i couldn't even try my washer and dryer until after the 48 hour mark they had no sympathy for that....im just extremely disappointed with spending my money at this place! Never again will I buy anything else from this company.

    Worse Lowe's with the worse Manager, Dee at Customer Service. I am a senior and tried to return a brand new unopened power screw driver with the receipt, but the Manager, Dee with the pink shirt would not do a return. He said they have a 90 day policy to return items but it does not say anything about their return policy on the receipt. The manager Dee pointed to the sign that is on your way out the door, up high, on the back wall after you return items. The sign is hard to see from far away and who really goes and reads all their signs on the way out. So they do not warn you ahead of time about their 90 day policy where you pay but at the wall after the return booth. Photo below. I self checked myself out when I bought this item so there was no way to be aware of their policy.The manger was a smart Alec and would not do an exception on my return which was only a few days after the 90 days. The return policy was not anywhere on the receipt and I did not need the tool after all and it was actually too heavy for my hand, but was told by one of their customer service clerks that was the right tool I needed to put a chair together. The chair came with L wrenches and did not need the power screw driver after all. I was not treated fairly and did not appreciate their female clerk making the big eyes and staring at me, when I was talking to the manager, Dee. Their male black customer service clerk seemed more friendly and understanding, and I'm not black, but I could tell he did not have any power over, Dee the male manager. People need to be aware this store does not print the return policy on their receipts everybody else does, they expect you to check yourself out walk over to returns and look at their back wall in the store to see their return policy that's ridiculous. You can't go to the return booth on your way out, store is not set up that way. All I wanted was my money back. With grocery prices the way they are we could have used the money back. Don't go there they don't care about customers. They would rather trick you, crooked and not fair. Cold customer service manager.

The manager and sales associate both suggested that I ask the person who gave it to me to provide the receipt. I could not believe they would ask me to do that. This was the return of a small flashlight that looked like a lantern. I was returning it within 6 days from Christmas. I was not asking for cash, just a simple exchange. Not everything is good but using your judgement, you can find good and cheap stuff there. This company needs a lot of improvement when it comes to customer service. You seldom find people when help is needed, and when you do, it is not very friendly. Of course there are good and bad employees anywhere and there are good people there too but in general customer service is deficient. Coming back to restocking fee, I returned a defective product today and just noticed later they charged 80 cents restocking fee. I didn't get upset about the value but about the principle. How can you charge a customer such a fee for returning a useless product the sold? The cashier put the reason for returning as "not satisfied" so he could charge the fee. His badge say "supervisor ", so he should known better that the correct reason for return was "defective product" (and I clearly told him) and the customer is at no fault whatsoever and shouldn't be penalized. This really hurts their reputation as far as I am concerned and I am deeply disappointed. So consider this and refuse this fee if you are returning a defective product. Consumers are only strong when they stick together and demand honesty from companies with this kind of practice.

I've had really helpful gentlemen at this store (both young and old) help me out with various project questions and issues I've had. Even had them go in the back and fix a couple things for me which I was extremely grateful for. However, the last time I was there customer service sucked. It was all women. I stopped a young girl and asked very politely if she knew where WD-40 was. She said she had no idea and took off. I was kind of flabbergasted, and I just assumed that she went to go ask someone and would find me to let me know. Nope, she literally just said no and took off. It was so bad customer service it was almost funny. Then the cashier who rang me out was whatever. Chit chattin with another employee right there bitching about something work-related right in front of me. Just wasn't the best experience this time around. Overall, it's a convenient hardware store so I'll continue to return if it need something. There are no other hardware stores in Princeton unless you want to count Walmart.

Delivered my first order in January and still have not been paid. Its now August. Store manager tried to help, but corporate office doesn't pay their bills. They take advantage of small businesses. Stay away and support another local shop before you give them your money.

We were returning a couple items we recently purchased because they were the wrong size. We got in line and immediately after we got in line about 9 other people got in line behind us. As we were returning the items with the cashier he needed an override for the return. To which the manager was the cashier on the next register over. He proceeded to take all 9 other guest in line behind us instead of just helping out with the override, and when the cashier asked him for an override he said they can wait, there are other people waiting to check out. The manager seemed to have some attitude for an unknown reason I believe his name was Ryan. I don't tend to write bad reviews but when he made us wait over 15 minutes and then to get a bad attitude, pushed me to write a poor review. Hoping this was just a fluke otherwise if it happens again we will start taking our business elsewhere.
