It took awhile to get the product and then get our cc to go through since it was a large purchase. They close at 7. We didn't have to option to pick up our order later since we are going home tonight. The loaders of the product had to stay 20 min after closing to help load onto our U-Haul trailer and were obviously not happy. We had to modify the pallets the floors were on to fit. Not the best customer service and as service providers ourselves we would never treat our customers that way. Hopefully this location does better in the future bc we absolutely love floor and decor. I was so happy to find prefinished solid oak floors at a good price.

I was beginning to feel like Goldilocks after repeatedly coming across ones that were too soft, too firm, too big, too small, etc., on a mission to find ones that were just right. Just as other yelpers have pointed out, this store is full of salespeople yet very few showed any interest in us while we meandered through the upstairs and downstairs showrooms. This isn't a problem for me personally because I'd rather browse in peace without the added pressure of being followed and watched like a hawk. As we were walking towards the door, ready to check this place off our list and move on to the next furniture store, an orange-y brown leather sofa caught my eye. My immediate thought was that it might be nice if only it were in another color, then lo and behold I spotted leather swatches nearby in a handful of colors. Suddenly, not one but two different salespeople stopped to offer assistance. After a brief but successful sales pitch, the next thing we knew we were practically skipping out of the store in glee, receipt in hand, having FINALLY found our new sofa and loveseat, which we ordered in black. We were told that it would take about 10 weeks for our furniture to arrive, but it actually only took half that time. The entire delivery process was hassle free. They had openings within the next couple of days with short windows of time. When the delivery guys showed up they were on time and quick but careful while dropping off our pieces. Our new sofa and loveseat look great and feel well manufactured. I haven't noticed any flaws thus far. After they have had some time to get worn in and thoroughly tested by our in home quality control group (i.e. kids) I'll update my review.

The language on the product page is contradictory and misleading. This isn't about $20--it's about transparency. If oversized items aren't eligible for free shipping, that should be clearly disclosed without conflicting statements on the same page. I've shopped at Michaels for years, but this experience left me feeling nickel-and-dimed and misled.
