Lowes said its Langhorne store had 3 pressure gauges. I ordered one and went to pick it up. When I got there, they said they had none, and they had sent my order to Warminster -- a half hour away. I asked a Lowes employee about it. He said, "Don't believe the inventory you see online. It's all f-ed up." I asked, "May I quote you on that?" He said, "Yeah, my name is Frank. Management knows how I feel about this." I went back to my holiday party. I canceled the order online, and was presented with a message that said, "Something's broken on our end and we were unable to cancel your item." I tried the text service, which is operated by a witless robot. After bombarding the robot with texts, it found someone who might help. His advice was to call the 800 number since he could do nothing. The 800 number said that wait times are long, but they would call back in 2.5 to 3.5 HOURS. I have already received the item I wanted from Amazon, which operates like a dream. How can Lowes even exist if it can't manage a pickup order AND if it can't cancel an order that it screwed up in the first place? Who will shop there? I will tell me children's children not to shop at Lowes -- if it even exists in 20 years. How much ill will does Lowes want to generate for a $10 sale? How many employee hours will Lowes waste on a $10 sale that they will never collect because -- in the worst case -- I'll just tell my credit card company that they never delivered? Friends, and neighbors. Please read this before considering buying any appliances from Lowe's. Worst corporate customer service. No one knows anything or even seems willing to try. Incompetent people in the stores. Horrible disconnect between the online store and the physical stores. UNA R, if that is her real name... is in serious need of re training. Told me wrong info about the stores and the return policy. She said just return it online. (It was Not-Returnable online) She nearly had us driving 45 min into another state because they had a few dryers in stock. She assured me it was there and I had to hurry it was selling fast. We called the store personally and the associate told us there were none in stock and the last one sold yesterday. There were many other issues with our service and lack of help and support. Long story short.. waisted a hour and a half on the phone with No resolution. The only suggestion she offered was to call the manufacturer. It was Sunday evening, and at the last second, she suddenly remembered that Lowe's has a 48 Hour return policy for appliances, so I wouldn't have time to have whirlpool come look at it anyway. At that point I was furious. I asked to speak to the manager, which I never do!! She says the managers name was MIKAILA and assured me she would call me the next day. No return phone call or email by the manager. So now we have about 12 hrs to figure something out before the return window closed. My wife Made more phone calls to the fulfilling store, and was bounced between the department and customer service 4 times( round trip, not each time). Basically no one knew how to help and we had to call first thing in the morning to talk to a manager. The bottom line...after calling friends for ideas and watching you tube videos, and learning all about gas dryers, (are you ready for this)! The person who hooked it up, FORGOT TO TURN THE GAS BACK ON!!! So they obviously didn't bother to test it for leaks either!!! So thank you Lowe's. Now I know more about gas dryers than you. I called my gas company and they are coming to check your work. And thank you for making my wife and my first appliance purchase in our new home, a unforgettable experience. I posted my experience described below on the Lowe's Corporate review site and realized from looking through the customer issues that the company never responds to any customer complaints. This in itself should be a warning to people that the company they are buying from is not reputable. Changing a large company to view their customer's issues as a challenge to be adressed and not ignored takes time. But if enough people reading these reviews STOP purchasing from Lowe's then they will likely change. I'd like Lowe's to start showing concern for their customer's issues and show an interest in helping them resolve issues that are not adressed properly by their store personnel. My review contains enough information for Lowe's management to review and resolve my issue which is really a simple one. Disappointed is all I can say. I recently WALKED into the Middletown store in Langhorne PA, 8/16/2024, and initiated the purchase of a new storm door with installation. The floor salesman was excellent. He explained the process and I purchased the $35 measurement service for the installer to come out and measure/estimate the job, order # ending in 50198/Project # 824281480. Lowe's UHS Contracting LLC reached out on 8/19/2024 to set up my measurement appointment for the 21st. So far so good. Later that day on the 19th I receive an email stating my order has been cancelled and my $35.00 refunded. I was very confused at this and reached out to Lowe's Installation Services at the number provided in the email. I explained my situation and the associate told me they had to transfer me to another area to assist. I then spoke to the new individual who told me they saw the order cancellation but could determine why it was cancelled as there were no notes to explain the reasoning. They suggested I travel back to the store and start over again. I found this unacceptable as it was nothing, I did to prompt the cancellation. He then suggested that he transfer me to the millwork area at the Middletown store # 1572 and talk to them about the issue. I said sure and rather than getting transferred to the store I was transferred to an automated survey system wanting to know how my recent interaction went??? (Not very well at this point). I then called the store directly and was transferred from a customer service associate to someone in fulfillment (I think). They looked up my order and saw it was cancelled by a Diane without very much explanation as to why. I was told they would research this and get back to me with a reason and solution today. After waiting 2 hours I called the store to follow up and was transferred around the store with no one picking up the phone that could help me. I requested to speak to the store manager and was passed along to the assistant store manager instead. After running through my story again. She said she also could not explain fully what transpired but it appeared that somehow the Bensalem PA store became involved and the installer told the Middletown store to cancel my order. The assistant manager then wanted ME to reach out to another installation services team to see if they could explain what happened. She said there was nothing she could do as their system showed my order as cancelled / closed!!! Quite frankly, this amazed me that she was washing her hands of it at that point. No one took ownership of my issue! Where's the customer service. I walked into the Middletown store on the 16th and placed an order and then someone at this store just goes ahead and cancels my order because some installer told them to. And now I have to do all the scrambling to fix it? I told the manager I honestly didn't care about all that but just want my original order re-entered so the measurer could still come out on Wednesday. Couldn't even do that. Told me I'd have to travel to the store and start from scratch.... Told her just to leave everything cancelled. I'll travel to Home Depot and give them my business as Lowe's doesn't seem to care... I really do prefer Lowe's over a Home Depot a lot but if this is how Lowe's is now handling customers I definitely will be reconsidering where I shop in the future. read more

This store and it's employees are awful. I was looking to buy a paint pail and liners for it. On the app it says they have a lot in stock. I find the paint pail, But the shelf were the liners are is empty. So I decide to ask the employee working the paint section if they have any liners. Her response was "we don't sell them". I replied well there is an empty spot on the self for them. She says "well we are out of them then" and then proceeds to tell me I don't need them, just let the paint dry and peel it. Which I tell her "well I want the liners". So she turns to her coworker and goes "ugh, more plastic!". So I put the items down and walked out of the store. Drove directly to Home Depot and purchased everything I needed. I've had at least 5 or more bad encounters with Lowe's employees similar to these. Why I sometimes go back I don't even know. Lowes maybe a great place to shop for all your household products and projects, but let's talk about how the employees are treated. Well for a start the employees are not treated well at all because of the store being under staffed so they have to do their job and sometimes they don't even do the job they were hired for because they have to cover other departments. Now the cashier's are treated even worse they not only get talked to in a disrespectful way by the customers they also get put out in the extreme heat or extreme cold and forgot about. Not to mention that they say that there is sapost to be a hut built over the register for the winter. We had them redo our bathroom 3 years ago. They did not do a good job. They were supposed to come back and finish the job and never did. The faucets on the sink are falling off the hinges and that shouldn't happen after 3 years. The drawers they put in are falling apart left and right. The worst Lowe's in the country. Ordered our stackable washer and dryer November 25, 2022. Supposed to be delivered December 14, 2022. Was called two days before deliver and told it was delayed and it would show up January 10, 2023. Called January 9, 2023 asking about delivery date. They said we would get a call after 7pm. Received a call telling us the delivery would be there between 8:30am-12pm on the January 10, 2023. My wife takes off of work to wait. They never show up with the washer/dryer. My wife calls multiple times and then is put on hold for 42 minutes. I decide to leave work and go to the store because she has to get back to work. Manager tells me there was a problem with a broken down truck. He said customers were supposed to be called about their delivery. We were not called. You know why? Because the Langhorne, PA Lowe's never received the washer/dryer. My wife and I have spent 5 hours on this whole ordeal missing work, and working through poor customer service just to find out what is going on. The manager said he would call the distribution center to get our order expedited. He calls us and leaves a message saying it is "tentatively" schedule for three days later. Tentatively is not a word I want hear after two delays (7 weeks after purchase). I then go to cancel my order and they tell me they can't give me my money back on the protection plan because it's been over 30 days since the purchase. Do you hear the irony in that? I now have more delays trying to get my full refund, and I have to do the work myself to get my refund from some third party company. Needless to say, the customer service is the poorest I have ever seen. I have seen a couple of social media platforms giving this store two stars. After my experience, I don't know how they received that high of a rating. I don't see how this store is going to last in this area. Someone from corporate needs to help this location. By the way, went to another retailer and we have the same washer/dryer combo coming a day earlier than the tentative date Lowe's gave to me. I purchased a lawn mower on March 22, 2024. After one time use, the blades stopped engaging. Rather then get the new mower serviced, I contacted Lowes to replace it. I asked if they can pick up the old mower and drop off the new mower. Ron in delivery assured me they would do that. A truck came today to pick up the broken mower but they did not have the replacement. A call was made to Lowes manager Dan who stated that policy is to deliver replacement only after broken mower received. We informed Dan we would pick up the replacement today and he stated that would be good. When my husband went to pick up replacement, he was told can't since broke mower not received. Trucking company stated they advised Lowes of the pick up including a picture. Lowes manager Dan kept talking about their policy, however, it seems hr is the only one who knows the policy and he does not know how to articulate such to employees or customers. read more

I like Lowe's far better than Home Depot, and this branch is generally OK. But they really need some improvement with their inventory management. This is the second time they screwed me over in an online buy. The first time, I bought 2 thermostats which said they'd be available for pickup right away. I made the buy, drove over to pick them up, and then I get there and it's sold out. This f*ck up was far more annoying because I actually had an electrician en route to install them. Last week I bought a dishwasher with a 10% off coupon and even though the thing showed as in stock, it was not. They called me the next day and canceled the order, and I lost the 10% coupon as well, even thought the rep said it would still be usable. Horrible, horrible experience with Lowe's. Will never being shopping there again after this. I ordered a bathroom sink faucet and a shower/bathtub faucet costing almost $500 in total. Order was placed on 4/21. I cannot get anyone in the store to answer the phone most of the time. If they do, they have zero information on an ETA for the faucets. Half the time they do answer, I've had people pick up the receiver, press a few buttons and hang up again. I've had them pick up the receiver and say "hello?" As if I was calling their home, place the receiver on the desk and let me listen to them not caring that I was waiting to speak with someone for 16 MINUTES! I've had them pick up the phone and it's like They muted themselves cause the line doesn't disconnect but I hear only silence. Almost like they're just picking up the phone so it stops ringing on their end. I have a contractor asking when the faucets will arrive cause the plumber needs to install them and I have no answer, nor can I seem to get any answer from anyone. I am embarrassed for Lowes as a company and everyone I know I'll be told about this so they never shop there again either. Well done on losing customers. read more

Lowes really did a nice job organizing the check out lines, posting and enforcing face mask requirements by the entrance. It's nice to see a business take the community risk seriously. Employees at stores have been infected no doubt from the previous misdirection given by the government's poor response to this pandemic. Only wish those who go there keep their masks on when leaving so when they closely encounter customers near the entrances it's a little safer. Making a remark while carrying a mask,"I have a mask", just shows how some can't be a little less selfish and do a little something to stop the spread. read more

We had a great shopping experience in the Langhorne Pa store recently; went there to purchase a new sink and their store manager, Sandy, interrupted her break time to help us with questions. She also allowed us to look at a sink in its box since we live out of state. Sandy seems to be a result-oriented manager. We went from New Jersey to their Langhorne Pa store as a result of speaking with a gentleman in their Plumbing Dept -- Mike Kr. He is so professional, quick, and knowledgeable about plumbing fixtures. Then, as we were paying for our sink, I was glad to see Donna at their register. She is a pleasure to speak with and quick at her job. I attempted to call in with a recommendation with no success and typed two references on Lowes' website but that website didn't accept any reviews. read more

Tried to match a fence panel to 10 year old fence that was blown out by a tree branch. Being a lady the Fence guy treated me like I didn't know anything about fences. Also, he didn't want to bother with a small job such as one panel. So I called the company that made the fence in North Carolina. Sentinel Fence & Rail was so great, I actually had to order another panel recently due to my cheap neighbor and her tree again. Since my neighbor is a deadbeat, Sentinel will not charge you a lot and will ship anywhere. One nice employee that wasn't in fences at Lowe's gave me a name of a handyman service that will install just the one panel. Mission accomplished! Girl power! Thank you Sentinel! read more

Where do I begin? We visited on/about July 4 of this year to buy a clothes dryer. Found a very good model at a good price and were informed by our salesperson that the dryer was in fact in stock and would be delivered a couple of days later. Sure enough, the delivery company called on July 6 and said they would deliver between 2 and 4. By 430, with no delivery, I called the delivery company - and they advised that Lowes cancelled the order that morning. Of course, Lowed didn't bother to call us at all. Thus began a series of phone calls, disconnects and messages for the appliance department manager regarding the situation. "Mike" finally called me back the next day and explained that they actually did not have the dryer in inventory, but he would hustle to get us one by Monday. Monday July 10 comes and Lowes calls to advise the model they received was slightly dented on the outside. They would give me a percentage off if I would accept this model temporarily. Well, the drivers arrived that day and we didn't even bother to take the dryer off the truck. It was severely dented and, when the door was open, any idiot could see that the drum was completely out of whack and would clearly not operated. Somewhat irate by this point, I called and left messages for "Mike"........to include leaving my cell phone and house numbers. NO CALL BACK a day later. Tue, July 11 - I call Mike and he promises to have a dryer to us on Thursday of this week, and that they would take a little more off. "You know sir, Lowes is now losing money on this deal" - and he was politely told that I really couldn't care less about that. They offered to throw in the vent hose with the electrical cord we were required to purchase. Thur, July 13 - the deliver guys come and leave the dryer - but guess what? No cord and no vent. Rather than waste my time calling again, I drove directly to the store. "Mike" wasn't there but another manager was. He was adamant that the delivery guys had everything they needed and he would send them back. THREE HOURS later (mind you, I've now lost 3 days pay because of these inept clowns), that same manager showed up at our doorstep with a store technician and completed the installation. Clearly, the delivery company was NOT given the proper material to do the job. I generally like Lowes better than the Depot, but this is been a horrible experience. Customer service existed in only one place - the actual customer service folks who answered my telephone calls. They were all patient and sympathetic to our plight and the poor lack of service from the department/store managers. Lowes management - step up your game and make sure your employees know how to keep customers happy and deliver on promises. Stopped in today to grab a few home repair and maintenance items and of course a stroll thru seasonal albeit mostly Christmas, not Halloween or Thanksgiving and was greeted by Lori a regular CSR in seasonal I have interacted with in seasonal for years, only regarding lawn care or equipment and such but today she made my day first by saying hello just walking by with a big smile and warm greeting acknowledging she hadn't seen me as much lately and that's true since going to be moving I'm not as mission oriented in keeping up with the house as I typically am. At the register Sandy rang me out because at Lowe's the self scan units are not too customer friendly and take longer then with a clerk, she too offered a nice greeting and thanked me for my business. We couldn't have asked for a better installer! We have some other home projects to do and we will go to Lowes first! I never wrote a review before, but Lowe's in langhorne PA forced me to review them about the worst experience I had in my entire life. Everything started in and around mid of November 2019 when they had advertised free installation on carpet with 10% discount. Me and my wife went to this location and ordered carpet for bedrooms and different carpet for stairs. Both of us were very clear and very precise and repeatedly told the Lowe's employees what we want. First it took us 4 visits to order our carpet and we dealt with different person every time, they made numerous mistakes while ordering even though we had the carpet and the padding in our hands to show them what we want but none of the ever paid attention to any. There was not item number on padding so we relied on them enter the right one, even they process the order with carpet , if I wouldn't had paid attention they would hv screwed the carpet as well. Day of installation I was at work and my wife was sick at home and we trusted Lowe's to send the stuff I ordered. But they hv screwed everything by installing the wrong padding (one I never requested) in all bedrooms. By the time I got home from from work only thing left was stairs, I told the installer to stop and went to Lowe's, there I experienced the worst customer service again, I wanted to speak to the manager, they called for manager and the so called manager walked by me approx 5 times and then approached introducing herself after me standing there for 45 mins, looked like she was trying to see if I will walk away. After explaining my concern, she said she will call me back next day in the morning but never heard from her. I went bk to Lowe's next day and spoke to the person who initially started my order, I related my concern to her, she told me that no manager was available at that time in the store but she will talked to the manager and update me tomorrow, at this time all I can do is wait if tomorrow comes for Lowe's. Finally 2 days later I received a call from the manager named Joe , no again I hv to explain him everything what I hv been explaining to these other so called managers and associates. I told joe I want some to be accountable he asked me to give him 2 days and after 2 days he gave me credit for $250. Me and my wife do not wanted to go through moving the stuff around, so we gave up. Don't get flooring installed through Lowe's and their third party... only reason they get a star is because of Kevin and Keith in the flooring department..other than them, I don't recommend Lowe's installing your hardwood floors. There is a serious lack of communication between them and their installers. It took them over I month to complete a 750 sq ft room in a condo. Not a home improvement store type of gal but I was moving and it was raining. I didn't want to mess up the new carpet so I went in search of some carpet shield self adhesive film to line the stairs and parts of the carpet. I found what I was looking for with the help of a gentleman that didn't work there. The adhesive was easy to apply and held up very well during the move. I will be going back to purchase more. I went here for ideas on a kitchen remodel project. I should have listened to the bad vibes when the woman in the kitchen section immediately asked me my budget only to make a face and tell me it was too low. Hmm. . . Against that bad feeling I made an appointment and I went in with an open mind. I basically spent 1.5 hours being treated like a moron. Now, let me put this in perspective, I am not indecisive nor am I pushy. She had given me a few catalogs to look over prior to our appointment. Sadly, she merely glanced at the photos I had marked out and commenced critiquing my measuring skills. Every single measurement I had taken she questioned and then demeaned me for taking it the "wrong" way. As someone approaching her VERY FIRST major home renovation, which is what I told her upfront, I did my very best. The home depot didn't have any issues with my measurements. I felt insulted and debased from the get go. Now, to add insult to injury, she never once asked me what I wanted. She never heard my vision or what I needed or if I cooked a lot or if I preferred a certain type of cabinet. That to me is HORRIFIC customer service. I spent an hour staring at her diagramming things on a computer screen with the occasional "are you sure you measured that right? That can't be that long, that can't be that deep, I need to come measure this myself this is all wrong" thrown in. When I would interrupt her to ask a question or insert my desires she was visibly irritated. Or, like when I told her what sink I preferred she actually said "Oh, I assumed that, so I already did it." Really? You openly admitted you made an assumption about my vision without ever asking me???!!!! Apparently the fact I wasn't verbally ready to hand over a small fortune to someone who clearly did not care about my opinion entitles me to NO customer service. She actually said at one point "Let's move this along and just get all the cabinets in." Then when I made a comment about how I was glad the labor costs were less than the cabinets she said "I hate it when people say that, it is so wrong." Then she proceeded to explain things to me as if I was a child. Is this a big box thing? Nope, went to the home depot the day before with the same exact measurements. The gal there listened to my vision, talked with me as we did things, and laid out my kitchen FASTER than this woman did. Oh, not to mention that all the little bells and whistles that I saw in my kitchen (wine rack, glass cabinets, open shelving, etc.) were NOT park to the discussion. I was talked over and/or outright ignored by this designer. The home depot designer had no problems discussing and placing things into the proper spaces. When I left the GOOD designer I felt like I had a handle on the way things should go, what I wanted/needed, and I had a kitchen layout that felt like it was MINE. As I left the Lowes I could not get out of earshot fast enough to call my parents who had recommended Lowes and give them an earful. I am really sad to write this review as it could have been, should have been, a five out of five. We ordered hard wood and carpeting from the flooring department about a month ago. The problems began with the installation of the floor. We were missing under paper, which I had to go and pick up to keep the install going. Minor yes, but a foreshadow of things to come. After the installers finished, we found several nail pops that I had to fix myself. The carpeting went missing and after a week after it was to arrive, I called lowes. They didn't know where it was. A day later they found it, and the installer set an appointment. No big deal right? Wrong. The installer cancelled the install the day of the project. At this point the house has been in pieces for over a month. I told lowes I wanted a DIFFERENT installer, and that I would have to waste a vacation day to finish. Later that day I got a call from the installer (the one I don't want) confirming the install on Wednesday. Then some low level asst. manager called to confirm my install for yesterday. I asked him if he had spoken to his people about the problems, to which he said no. I told him this entire thing was all due to lack of communication within lowes. So here it is Sunday, still wearing shoes in the house. Carpet still not installed, and although I reached out to lowes executive relations, the only apology is 10% off a future project. How is that going to pay for a lost vacation day? Do I paid to clean up their mess? Am I the scheduling manager? I chose lowes over Home Depot as I was made to believe the service was better at lowes. I am regretting this decision. read more

Bought a washer and dryer from this location. Dave was extremely helpful. Mike helped us with price match and honored a lower price that we had found at a different store. It was a pleasant and smooth transaction start to finish. We would definitely recommend this location. read more

Just called to arrange for installation of my paid for window curtain ($600). I spoke with customer service who said there is no one in the store that can help me at this time (really!). No further questions asked. This store is on a death spiral, avoid it at all costs for anything that requires an installation. Save yourself a lot of headaches, go to home depot. Trust me on this one. This is my second consecutive bad experience with this store. read more
