If I could leave a zeros stars I would. I had placed an order for a bathroom vanity on march 24th instore. I was told that it should be available for pick up by march 28th. I go in and I ask for an update on the vanity. The ladies at the pick up area told me that they haven't even processed the order yet which blew my mind. They tired to see if they left any notes or anything and NOTHING. no number not delivery date, nothing. I go back to following day and they said they are processing my oder but still have no idea on when it'll be here. At this point it's 2 days late. I go back the NEXT day which is now the 3rd day that it's late and they said "we should be getting it in tonight's truck and to check back tomorrow morning. I call today, 03/31/26 and they said it's STILL on the way and not ready yet. This is unbelievable 4 days after the initial pick up date and it still hasn't arrived. I paid too much money for it not to be on time, if I'm told that my order will be ready at a specific date I expect that to be the case. Especially if I'm paying a good chunk of money. The lack of communication is here is mind blowing. I do NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to oder any home appliances from this Lowe's unless you want it to show up 1 week after the date they tell you it'll be ready. I'm definitely never coming to Lowe's again. Home Depot is WAY better and they actually do their jobs correctly. read more

Today me, mom my and sister went to this location on Kirkwood rd. We're starting a garden and needed supplies. Anyway we found some of the items and entered the self checkout where there was one young lady working. As soon as we entered the self checkout area 5 other employees surrounded us and were watching us. I guess they thought we were going to run out with the 20+ pound bags of dirt or the 2$ packs of seeds. One of the items I had, rang incorrectly. I turned to request help and the lady asked oh did you ring all of your other 9 items. I said of course I did, she proceeded to count the items in my cart. Even though my issue was about a 2$ clearance plant that was in my hand. While all this was going on another employee stood at the door staring at us while another customer tried to get his attention he decided not to help them but to stare at me while I made my 45$ purchase. I will not be returning to this location and probably not this company. I've never been treated this way in Home Depot. read more

Lowe's treats you disrespectfully. after years spending thousands of dollars at Lowe's I am losing my account. I bought a moving dolly about a little over a year ago. Tags still on it. Used it four times. The last use was for a den ice repair. This thing is advertised to hold 800 lbs. It broke! The wheel covering came off. Useless right? Bad product. Lowe's would not exchange it or refund it because it was 14 months old... they only accept returns at 12 months or less. This is defective. Angelic the return manager was not caring or helpful . Don her manager kept droughts it had to be returned within 12 months. Who uses a dolly everyday. They sold a malfunctioning item and could not care about customer service. BEWARE of Lowe's . I'm always at a home improvement store for something. Out of all my Lowe's and Home Depot experiences, I had the best experience by far at this location. Heidi made all the difference, she has exceptional customer service. She helped us navigate our dishwasher purchase. Sexy girl and I came here for some goods (as opposed to bads) that we needed in order to manufacture our own gym at the house since all the gyms were closed. The people working here are not friendly at all. The system for getting out is awful and preferential. I've lived in Houston for over a decade and this is my first time rushing to a store before opening to attend a Black Friday sales event. Yeah. I took a nap to get energy. Since I haven't been here for awhile, I could use a map. A store attendant gave us a map, advertisement and a coupon. I only wanted some 59 cents poinsettia. I spotted the location but there were 30 people in front of me grabbing large potted poinsettias. I knew the size and location were not right. Then, I heard someone shouting "aisle 20'. Then, I cut through the crowd by going through the middle of store. There they were, all sitting on racks in a crowded aisle. The frenzy was incredible. But everyone was very cordial, no fighting. I managed to pick up a few, because the quality was in question. I had time to sort through the wacky ones. Then, I noticed a $10 coupon was for first 100 customers today. I tried really hard to buy something in the store. I can't find anything I want. Furniture was wobbly and toys had no price tags. Oh well, I gave up. read more

I'm definitely not going to lie here. I don't love coming to Lowe's. I see no reason to come here. I find it boring. Which is contradictory to the minimalist decor of which I dress my home. That being said. I got drug here by my Mom who decided to but flowers here for her home halfway across the nation. Sigh. The woman wants what she wants. Lo and behold they have a huge and pretty selection of flowers which rivals that of the nearby Wal-Mart. She bought three huge plants and like clock work the rain fell shortly thereafter to reward her for taking care if Mother Nature's babies. I found myself enthralled with the different flowers and plants. They had beautiful succulents and cactii! I started to reach for a few to baby at home then I remembered who I am. For good reason, I left the plants. They would be on life support by now. I still find Lowe's to be incredibly boring but I'll always remember the time I almost bought a crazy cat lady worth of plants. read more

Asked 3 employees for help, 2 of them just shrugged and walked off, the third one actually made an announcement for customer needing assistance on the aisle the items I needed were on. Waited 10 minutes no one showed up. Called the store and told customer service I needed assistance, waited over 5 minutes. Called again and another 5+ minutes went by without any assistance. Just as I was about to give up and leave my cart with all the other items I had in the aisle I was in, an employee showed up. However before they helped me with my item the individual stopped and talked with a looky Lu and then when they finished with them another customer walked up to the employee and off they went looking for what they needed. The devil with the customer that was waiting for 30 minutes. I'm giving them one star because you have to to post a comment on Yelp, they don't deserve it. When I placed an order for pickup of a patio umbrella, the box was way too large for my vehicle, even though I bought bungee cords to put it on top. ;-) Not wanting me to ruin my brand-new vehicle, David, the Assistant Store Manager, said "I'll bring it to your house on my lunch. Your car is too pretty to take the chance." An hour later, David was in my driveway with my goods and helped me get it to the back yard. Great customer service!! read more

I have had the worst experience with Lowe's. Ordered something online on April 1, it was scheduled for delivery FOUR TIMES (got the emails to prove it), and every time we took off work to be there and never arrived. Last thing I beard after being on hold for ONE HOUR AND 23 mins is that the merchandise has not arrived and don't know when it will. The store blames the warehouse, the warehouse blames Xpo and Xpo said "if you don't like what's happening, return ir cancel your order" At the store no one will be escalate the issue and won't provide other than the customer service number which I was on hold for 45 mins before I hung up. Overall a major fail of all processes. I will return the items but I am not letting you off the hook for such poor operations. I will keep posting on my social media to let my friends and family know how Lowe's does business and their lack of care for customer service. read more

I walked around for at least 15 minutes, looking and asking, but the staff I approached could not have shown less interest, and I left. I stop by here every once and awhile for my gardening needs, so this is a review for their garden center. They have a decent selection without having to visit a nursery. Occasionally there will be a great sale on soil or mulch. Just keep your eyes peeled. There's also a smaller selection of indoor house plants in the main store area. I always check the clearance area towards the back and have bought many dying or overgrown plants for a great deal, sometimes even 75% off. The incompetence here is widespread and once they've got your money, you're stuck putting up with all their excuses and bumblings all the way through their supposed "satisfaction guaranty." It's taken almost nine months for them to correct their long list of sometimes absurd mistakes and even now that I'm so over putting up with their comedy routines, the installation is still incomplete and poorly done. Placed an order for some tiles to pick up at the store. When the order was placed (06/16/18), the store is showing a quantity of 310. I partially paid for the tiles with a gift card and the balance with a credit card. The following day (06/17/18), I received a call from the store telling me that they actually had ZERO stock of this tile that I had purchased and therefore, my order was going to get cancelled. I asked about the gift card refund and I was informed that I should receive an e-mail with the gift card information within a couple of days. Fast forward three days later (06/20/18), the website is STILL showing that they have a quantity of 310 available for pick up at this particular store meaning that you can't rely on the website for inventory; And I still have not received my gift card refund yet (I understand that CC refund processing could take a while, but gift card should be almost instantaneous) so I decided to give Lowe's customer support (the 800 number and not the Royal Oaks store) and the only thing the CSR was able to tell me was "it takes three to ten business days for refunds to be processed". Even when I asked, "even the gift card?" She would only repeat "three to ten business days". I guess I'll wait three to ten business days and hope I get my gift card refunded (or for them to issue me a new one which takes, like, ten seconds) and call back in. And when I do get my gift card, I'll spend it and will do every effort not to shop at Lowe's and give my business to Home Depot or Amazon. Sorry Lowe's, you suck. Your inventory is inaccurate, your refund process takes too long (I work for a construction company so I deal with a lot of refunds with Home Depot and they can usually issue a gift card immediately), and your customer support sucks. read more

I came for .50 poinsettias Was informed they ran out Fine. I am already here. I hate poinsettias. I ask if i can place my cart to the aide of the exit so I can get the correct ones. With the intention of initiating a return at that counter with the same sales associate. I get the ones described. I fall back in line. Mind you there is another associate who has seen and also interacted with me. I am behind some dude buying an exorbitant amount of lights. He decides halfway through his transaction he doesn't want some of them. These boxes all look the same. OMG.WTF. *jeopardy theme music* He finally is processed. I ask to do a return. The sales associate who saw me BUT IS NOT THE CASHIER tells me i have to go to customer service for that. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 5-10 MINUTES BC OF THIS JERK WITH ALL THE LIGHTS. "I did not relize that." I Take my cart And the two sets of 2qt poinsettias. Head to customer service. Do this exchange for what I think is the right price. Completely infuriated by now and ready to go home. Ps the staff is friendly I just didn't like this experience. I didn't curse anyone out. Horrible service. Originally looking for window's. Spoke to two different Lowe's employees and they both said they didn't work for that department and couldn't help. I asked both if they could call someone who could help, the first one said sure and never came back. The second said they're leaving and I should ask someone else. A 3rd employee walked into the aisle I was in and I asked if she was the employee that was suppose to help me and she quickly and rudely said "No, I just put stuff back and that's it." As I waited, I got asked twice if I worked there by two different customers! After 45 minutes or so, I went to the front self-checkout area, 6 different employees, including the one who said he was leaving, are all talking and laughing while customers are clearly walking around lost around them. I went to the group and said I need someone in the window department. A lady said "okay, we'll send someone over." I said, "I'm sorry but I'm doubtful anyone will go after waiting close to 45mins." I am having a terrible experience with Lowe's. I ordered washer and dryer and all accessories on line thinking it would save me time, but instead after 3 separate deliveries, visit to the store in Meyerland and multiple phone calls, I am left with 2 defective items and no functioning washer and dryer. The only positive thing is that their delivery service, which is outsourced so not part of Lowe's is prompt. As it turns out, if you order online, not all the items will be from the same store if they don't have it in stock so that translates to multiple deliveries and a major headache so be careful. The other option which is to go to a nearby store, is not a pleasant experience either. Either you wait a long time to get customer service or have sales associates who are not very pleasant or knowledgeable. Either way you are screwed! read more

"You can't have those stepping stones - that order was pulled for another customer." How would I know that unmarked pallet of stones was unavailable? Or the other, also unmarked pallet of stepping stones - also unavailable, apparently. There is another pallet of gray stepping stones, with a pallet of red stepping stones on top of it, attached to an abandoned forklift. Can we have some of those? "No, we're getting some down from a second shelf, since somebody already opened the plastic on it (said disapprovingly - apparently customers who want to buy stuff are super annoying)." Another forklift is summoned, then abandoned - there is much discussion, then everyone disappears again. After an interminable wait (30 mins plus) we finally helped ourselves to the "reserved" stepping stones and were checked out by a dour, unsmiling teenager who had clearly had her spirit broken by her time spent working in this dumpster fire. read more

Rude and racist I went in looking for an L-bracket. I went to aisle 16 and looked but could not find it. I asked the lady (Jan) who working on the aisle where I could find the L-brackets. "Not on aisle 16" she growled then went back to stocking. She had helped the two people who were there before me (and were the same color as she was) but did not have the time to help me. This location isn't the best in Houston and it has it's fair share of ups and downs. Their selection is pretty good, but not the best in town. I would say that this Lowe's fits in the middle when it comes to their offering. Whatever the case, you should be able to find most things you need here. The employees typically do an okay job here, but it's more of a mixed bag if you ask me. Some of the employees are hard workers and do what they can to help, but others are downright lazy and rude. I remember coming here to buy herbs for my garden once, but the plants I was looking for had been moved. We asked the employee working in the garden department for assistance, but she made absolutely no effort to help us. She was very rude about it and we have begun to visit this location less often as a result. What really irks me about coming here is how people tend approach you randomly, either asking for money or trying to sell you something. I've had some really creepy people come up to me and I think this location does too little to control these things. Overall, this location is a bit below average and is nothing to write home about. I'd prefer to visit their Bunker Hill location instead, but sometimes this one is more convenient. read more

Came to Lowe's to look for a rubber hammer for my flooring. Almost all employees scattered the moment they saw me coming, and the two that I had the chance to catch up to sent me to opposite ends of the store.... when I asked one to physically show me where the hammers were she just stared at me and repeated "across from 17 and 18" over and over again until I had no choice but to walk off.
