I've had employees help me load lumber, make an effort to find a way to help me even when they had been clearly slammed, given me advice on purchases and stopped making me wait in line longer than needed. I can understand the fact of shortness on inventory due the pandemic, but I really don't get it when you ask a question to an associate and they answered in a poor way like if they were mad and most of the times in hurry or lack of knowledge. Few years ago I like to buy at Lowe's mostly because the customer service and the friendly staff. Now I think twice before step into this store, I'll rather drive few more miles to Home Depot and have a better experience overall for example if you have a question ask at the entrance and they will call an associate to guide you to the spot where you can find what you need and not just that, but they make sure all your questions will be answer. read more

We need a part for a kitchen cabinet and the employee worked for 30 minutes to find the right one...I would have given up but his preserve fence paid off for us!!! Thank you Lowe's!! The kitchen areas need to be updated though and some places were very dusty. I buy with my eyes. read more

Today I needed to get some more paint! As I was waiting for my paint to be done. I pushed our daughter around the garden area. The manager stopped to let me know that they were taking a wall down and moving things around and apologized for maybe not having a lot. I thanked him and we kept walking around, just killing time. Of course I found some more items to purchase and could barely hold those as well as pushing our daughter. When we got our paint can, I couldn't carry that and everything else and push the stroller. I asked one of the employees if he could carry the paint can to the check out counter, which is said of course to! The clerk that checked me out was so sweet and grabbed me a cart to try and help me out. The customer behind me offered to help me out when she was done checking out. Oh and the manager again had walked by before all that and said "hi, as well as apologizing for the fire alarm they were testing". Overall I had a great experience! read more

Nicole in appliances was amazing. We had ordered a couple appliances and one of them was not available. She took great care of us, working with her manager to make sure we still got a great deal and were satisfied with our purchase. She was in constant contact, calling us to update on the progress of the order regularly. We had been in on a Sunday night, and by Monday morning she had fixed the problem for us. The appliances have since been delivered, and we are very happy with them. Delivery and removal service was fast and professional. Nicole is a gem - give this woman a raise! read more

In my opinion, I just experienced a very condescending conversation regarding cordless sanders at Lowes of Everett. I just couldn't believe my ears the way this man was talking to me when I asked them if they carried cordless sanders, as if I didn't know what I was asking for, as if I didn't know what I wanted. I had looked all this up online the day before as to what I needed and what bare tool means and that you must buy the battery, charger and cordless sander separately in most cases and or you can mix and match tools if you have them with the same battery. By the time he walked away, I think I was still in shock thinking did that really happen, and by the time I got to the register (buying something else) I was just livid. I then walked to the customer service area, asked where you file a complaint, he said here, let me get a manager he says, I said ok, can you please get a woman manager (because she will get it I thought). He calls for a manager, he calls again as no one is responding, I asked did you call for a woman manager. He says they are busy. Really? By not acknowledging my request for a woman until I asked twice, I felt he wasn't listening to me. So, I just said I would file my complaint online instead. Well, good luck trying to get through to their help desk via the phone, can't find an email address but I could try texting them as it is an option (you end up texting a robot) still waiting to hear back from an actual person, the robot said it would pass my request along............. read more

I've picked up an online order here, and it was fine. A remarkably convoluted process for what it is, but fine. Especially if you need to do anything else. Wife ordered some stuff online and paid for it. I was sent there to get the stuff, as well as pick up a couple things she forgot to order. Not a prob - I found the stuff quickly, and went back up to customer service to pay for it. The process took a little longer than it should have. Not too much longer, but there was waiting and issues and whatnot. Not streamlined, but could have been a lot worse. I mean, they'll have what you'll need. So there's that. To make a very long story short. I ordered an AC unit online from Lowes, only because it was the one I could get fastest, 1-5 business days. It arrives 2 weeks later damaged! I call customer service (1 1/2 hr hold) to be told to print out shipping and call FedEx. FedEx tracking doesn't work, call FedEx 5 times in 5 days. They finally tell me they have lost it, to call Lowes to file a claim. Another 1 1/2 hrs on hold, Lowes tells me they have proof its in transit. Another week goes by, tracking doesn't work, no refund from Lowes. Write a letter to Lowes CEO. He puts it off to someone else who calls and tells me she needs to research it and will get back with me in 5 days. Now a month has gone by that I have paid $1000 and Interest, on a AC unit that I don't have, have returned, made 10 phone calls over 15 hrs on the phone, a 3 pg letter to the CEO and STILL they have yet to issue a refund. I will never, ever shop at Lowes again for anything! As a side note, after returning the AC unit, I bought one online from Homedepot, it arrived EARLY, undamaged and works great!!! read more

I call this location "The least favored of all Lowes". They tend to be out of common things (claw hammer for instance) or stock broken, returned merchandise. More than once I've had to go to two Lowes in the same day for a simple purchase. For a long time it was the closest hardware store to my house, but now for quick trips I go to Ace on Evergreen and for big shops I go to Lowes in Mill Creek. read more

Bad doesn't even begin to describe the service. This store belongs in downtown Seattle where the motto is: it's a privilege to be a customer so don't expect service. Seriously, the customer service at Customer Service is customer frustration. They never have an online order prepared, or pulled correctly. Getting a refund on any item is nearly impossible in their MyLowes system (If you must use this location, always keep a paper copy of your receipt.), and the ladies in this department are always incompetent and rude! Always! I've been retrying this store for four years and have given up. I drive all the way south to Home Depot instead, or the Lowes in Mill Creek; even though, my house is less than five miles from here. I really hope they have more staff turn over because there's always a line and there's always at least two fuck-ups per transaction! read more

Do not expect to get any help. They will not offer it and if you ask for help you probably won't get it. I am 25 years old. I am young and look young. However I am well into a good paying carrier and a home owner. I spend plenty of money at the hardware store. I felt because of my age the employees at Lowes were not willing to help me. My experience was different than others. From start to finish we received nothing but stellar customer service. In fact, Robert J went above and beyond what we could have expected in customer service. Inventory said there were 48 items in stock and he got pallets down from the very top shelf and helped us find all 48. I wish I would have remembered the clerk who helped us in the customer service area. He was amazing as well. Lowes store #0149 in Everett, WA provided us with the worst demonstration of work place camaraderie. In fact it was so horrible it caused us a pro long wait time to pick up our appliance. We started off at customer service assistant who called back to the appliance department for assistance. The 'team' member was rude to her and said nope I am busy can't help. After trying three separate individuals I walked back and observed three individual team members speaking to each other in the appliance section. This was not a long walk and the store was not busy. Since this was actually our second experience witnessing employee on employee toxicity (in three days) in this store, I recommend you look at your own in store footage from 5:40-6:05 PM and witness for yourself what the customer service rep Alejandra was experiencing with her fellow 'team' members who did not want to assist her and who were angry bitter and unkind to her from what we could hear over her calls to them. This was unacceptable I cannot believe your company harbors such a toxic environment for your store employees. read more

The people in this store seem to be trying their best but something just isn't working for them. The biggest problem seems to be when a cashier has to preform a price "over-ride" over and over again and everybody has to stand there in line for some manager to swipe a card. Lowes is meant to be a low service, low price business, also this Lowe's is in an area with a lot of homeless addicts trying to rip them off by walking out of the store with products and/or returning products they didn't buy. Wow....I work for a small plumbing business and end up traveling to a Lowes or Home depot quite often. I first asked some guy at customer service if he could help me with something and he pretty much said no without giving me any other options or ideas on who could. So I left his counter kinda confused on what just happened. So I stroll to the plumbing desk, and press the page button to get someone to help me. I wait for 20 minutes with no one in site. So I take another walk and find the restrooms. What a disaster! I am a plumber and don't get disgusted very easily but this bathroom was torn apart. Garbage everywhere, water everywhere, and even a horrific musky smell. Needless to say I ended up going to lowes in Seattle and got the help I needed. read more

We don't buy bulk, but whenever we need odds and ends for a jobsite, this place always has the goods. Easy to find items, knowledgeable staff, quick checkout. I'm always amazed that most of the salespeople always know where the most unique items are at all times. Terrible customer service. I requested help but was passed by two separate associates who told me it wasn't their department. They didn't try to get help for me they just kept walking. When the associate who worked in carpets showed up, she helped someone who just walked up to her, did not even acknowledge our presence. She was rude, and I walked out empty handed. Interestingly other customers were also complaining and I passed several people in red vests standing around chatting. This was on a Saturday afternoon. I won't go back. Just like most of the reviews here. The customer service at this particular location is the WORST! I have never had so many problems trying to make purchases online in my life only to have my order not pulled correctly, with broken lumber, and rude customer service staff. Their MyLowes program is a joke. Don't even bother with it. They will require a receipt anyway since apparently they can't even look up what you bought on your MyLowes account. "It's a different system", they told me. Well why the heck do you offer it in the first place if you can't even look up an order number in the system? We switched to the Mill Creek Lowes which is out of the way but totally worth the better customer service. Overall Lowes has terrible lumber that you have to spend 5-10 minute picking through to find a piece that isn't totally busted or warped. Home Depot is nicer in the customer service department and they every single member there asks if you need help. total silence from these people at Lowes and don't think to ask them a question because 95% of the time they can't even point you in the right direction. Atrocious customer service! After taking two days off to wait for delivery of a washer dryer (first day Lowe's waited until mid day to let me know the dryer arrived damaged, second day they called at noon to say they would be there between 4-6 pm then waited until 5.45 to call and tell me they ran out of time) I went in and got a refund. Someone at work suggested I speak with a manager and maybe they would work with me as she has always had good experiences at the Seattle Lowe's when there's been a problem. I spoke with an appliance manager at that Lowe's at lunch today. I explained the problems I have been having, admitted I may have been a bit rash in asking for my money back and said I would be willing to repurchase the $1500 washer and dryer if they could just deliver them my next free day (which is a WEEK from today) first thing that day as I live THREE BLOCKS from their store. Didn't ask for reduced cost or free delivery. Manager told me that's not how he organizes delivery and they always do the farthest away first. Period. I guess Lowe's is doing so well they don't need my $1500 or any of my future business. read more

I'm primarily writing about Lowe's fencing installation. I had a beautiful cedar fence installed, and they did a great job. They hired the fencing contractors and the guys were courteous, hard-working and finished quickly. Fence looks great! .. I didn't give 5 stars as this was a very expensive fence. Too expensive. The fencing contractors told me that if I ever need a fence again (and I will very soon) that I should deal directly with the contractors. Bought a new fridge on a Tuesday and scheduled it for the following Saturday. Called them that morning to confirm they where coming out. Got ride of the fridge we had to make room for the new one. never showed up, called they said they couldn't find my house that they would come out the next day.. no problem things happen. NOTHING not a call or email started calling after 5pm they said there truck had broke down and that they had to reschedule two days out! Argued and made them put me on for the next day. There window was from 3-7 started to call about 7:30pm they said that we where the last stop out of 17 and they had 4 more to go which at this point it isn't unacceptable! They showed up 30min later delivery guys are worst customer service ever. Worst place if you buy something from this place pick it up your self! Fridge is broke and trying to get a new one delivered and guess what!!! No show again!!!! Now on the reschedule and still waiting. Worst place ever. read more

On 6/7 I ordered kitchen cabinets to be delivered. At delivery the driver noticed that he forgot two cabinets at the store. He said they would be delivered ASAP. 10 days later our carpenter comes to install them and noticed ,we were still missing the 2 forgotten cabinets. After spending 1 1/2 hours on the phone w/customer service, store and carpenter, we now have to pick them up ourselves if we want them installed. I will have to pay the carpenter for extra two hours to make this trip to Everett. The store had not scheduled the delivery until 6/20!!! This is terrible customer service! read more

I have been very dissatisfied the last 2 times I have shopped at this store. First off I called and asked if they sold empty 1 gallon paint cans and how much they cost. The lady on the phone said yes and said that they were 2.50$ I had her on speaker my fiance and daughter heard what she said she also said they had the 7 I needed. I go to the store to go purchase the paint cans only to find out I was given all the wrong information. I walked to the paint counter and asked where the empty one gallon cans were the employee said I haven't gotten any in a while and showed me where they would be located theres only one there and they are priced at 4.99 (or .98). When I told the employee about my phone conversation he said I was mistaken and essentially called me a liar. I also went fridge shopping here my fiance and I were looking around and the 2 associates in the department were more concerned about their conversation and ignored me when I troed to approach to get a question answered. We walked out and purchased a fridge at Judd and Black. On a seperate trip I was returning a wall heater we had bought one that was made to connect to a type of thermostat we didn't have long story short after my fiance and I checked the shelf for the one we wanted we went back up to the counter and the woman behind the counter treated me like I stole it. Even mentioned I won't be able to sell the gift card because it requires my driver's license. I didn't have the receipt, but I didn't steal the heater. I went to the Smokey Point Location ans had a much better experience I was asked if I needed help in all the departments I walked into and they had the paint cans I needed. read more

Went to Lowe's for a Washer and Dryer. We worked with Jon (his name tag said he was the department manager) he was great to work with. We debated a lot of which ones we wanted and he helped us with letting us know what time he could deliver them - which would have to be special ordered and which he had in stock. Never once did we feel pressured to buy. When we realized that we didn't know which type of dryer plug we had we went home and came back a few hours later and instantly remembered us and helped right away. He was professional through the entire process. We picked Lowe's over Home Depot because we heard the customer service was better and it sure was. My husband and I are both retail managers and would be proud to have Jon on our team. Lowe's has a customer for life. read more

Horrible experience with the appliance delivery department. Bought a chest freezer. Scheduled a deliver for a Friday.... Friday came around never got a call, spent all day waiting. Finally called them at the end of the day and was told that the delivery guys were there at 7:20 in the morning. I was at home at that time, as well as my roommate and no one had rang the door bell or knocked. Never got a call they were even coming. Then I was told by the guy on the phone my delivery has been rescheduled for next Wednesday (which I wouldn't have know had I not called). He said I would receive a call on Wednesday morning. Wednesday noon comes around. I have not received a call. I call lowes again, this time the guy states he will contact the delivery guys directly and call me back. An hour later he calls back and tells me there was a mix up, the freezer is still at the store and the delivery guys will come get it and they will call me when it is on it's way to my house. I wait a few more hours, no phone call. I call back to lowes, and long story short they tell me they cannot deliver the freezer that day, and will have to reschedule. I have never dealt with such incompetent people. Needless to say, I'm very annoyed, so I returned the freezer and will be buying from someone else. read more

Almost non-existent customer service. I spent over $3000 in major appliances -- refrigerator, stove, and microwave. They were not delivered until almost four weeks later because the warehouse didn't have the fridge. Okay, fine. What was NOT fine was that the delivery crew badly dented the $2000 fridge getting it into my house and then didn't say anything. I saw it and they were apologetic (very nice boys). Then they told me that they could not remove my current microwave or install the new one because of company policy, but the major appliances manager failed to mention that when I purchased it. I called Lowe's to see what they planned to do about the dented fridge. They offered me $500 to keep the dent, but who wants to spend two grand on a brand new fridge only to have a giant dent put in it on the very first day? They said they would order the front facing to be replaced, but the part would take another 3+ weeks and they didn't offer anything to make up for their mistake. I asked for a supervisor and got Fred. After much cajoling on my part, he finally agreed to credit $100 to the new Lowe's credit card I had opened for this purchase -- but several days later, he hasn't done it. I will apparently have to call again. I expected customer service from them. I guess they've gotten too big for their britches. I will stringently avoid buying from them in future, which is their loss because I manage 3 apartment buildings and frequently need everything from carpet to appliances to light bulbs. read more
