I went to Lowe's , Elyria, Ohio, because I saw top soil, 40 pound bags for $1.88 listed on line. At the store the front clerk knew nothing about this possibility, and out in the green house NO ONE was there. I saw some stacks of 40 pound bags of soil, but no price. So I left, disgusted. read more

I saw a meter box for 196$ sent someone to store where the app said there was 2 of them app showed multiple prices for same item I have photos called customer service they had me pay for it through them cause what I showed them was the truth Lowe's in Elyria wouldn't price match there own app and the pricing was for there store so after paying they held item and wouldn't let him leave with it after 2.5 hrs the store said they would do price match but I had to pay for it again and wait 3-10 days to get my mo way back this was the worst experience I believe I ever had at a home Improvement store I hope atty general looks into false advertising this is not right we have to stop putting up with big companies taking advantage of us as people time to put our foot down everyone read more

This is the second and final time I will shop with Lowe's. I purchased a dishwasher from them that I found on sale. I made the purchase online. The dishwasher took over 6 weeks to arrive and be installed. The man that came to install the dishwasher was in my home a total of 10 minutes. He took one look at the dishwasher he was to remove and said that the new one I had purchased was too large and would not fit. (I measured and it was a standard size dishwasher) He also said to get the old dishwasher out he would have to cut it in half and to do that cut a hole in the side of the counter top but it would be an easy fix. He called me and told me this over the phone (I was at work and my daughter was there) He told me not to worry and that he would take the dishwasher back and leave a note to order a new one in the correct size, which he would leave in a note on the dishwasher. Cool, right? He was taking care of it, no big deal. Well later on I got a call from Lowes saying I needed to come in for a cash refund because they could not refund it to my card. I was like... wait.. just put it towards the new dishwasher. She said, what new dishwasher? You have to come pick a new one out. I said, didn't the installer leave a note? No.. No he did not! He 100% LIED to me, he did NOTHING but drop it off and leave. So I go in and get a refund and talk to a sales person. I don't remember the measurements because I didn't write them down since the installer said he was going to take care of it. It took TWO days to get ahold of the installer for the measurements because for some reason they didn't have a phone number for him. They call me and tell me that they only have on dishwasher that will fit the measurements he says I need and after all is said and done they wanted almost 1000$ I told them NO! I called up Stewarts Appliances and bought a dishwasher from them, the standard size, the size Lowes installers said was too big. I called on a Friday and had it installed by Tuesday! It magically fit! They didn't have to cut the old one out either! The installer is a straight up LIAR! Stewarts Appliances will get my business from now on. read more

-Terrible service and absolutely no follow-through to 20+ phone calls for Lowes to correct issues! -We ordered a very nice Frigidaire range, which cost over $1,200. Installers installed range and tested connections with the flames almost reaching the hood, then left afterwards. I figured since it was new, it had to burn some newness off, as I'm not a gas and/or appliance expert. After burning almost all of our kitchen pots/pans and ruining our sink with black marks, I read the owners manual stating that an LP conversion kit needs to be installed. After not hearing back from Store Manager, District Manager and/or the National Installation Manager, I ordered a LP conversion kit through HOME DEPOT! -In the past year, I have spent 50K+ with Lowes because the stores are clean and they cater to Vets. I will not be shopping with Lowes any longer! read more

We bought brand new Washer n Dryer set up delivery this week for a Tuesday delivery for 12-5 and it was a no Show so I called and bitched cause my husband left work so once again we set up delivery for this Thursday between 1-5 and once again we wait and we then we call and they said they were on there way, not 5 mins later they call and say that they aren't coming!!! Another lost day of work and still no wash or dryer!! so now I call back and they say Sunday umm No I want my stuff Tomorrow they told me they aren't working on Friday it would be Sunday!! let's just say don't buy shit from Lowe's I want my Money back and something for my lost wages from Work!!! I'm not done with this issue!!!! My husband is a Veteran and this is how he is treated poor poor service!!! Tried doing my shopping the safe way and did curbside pick up doing this virus scare. I call the number and gave my order number she responded by... well it may be a while because we are busy. Well I'm sorry? I didn't make up curbside and if you can not handle the process then this particular person or this service should not be open. Isn't there a designated individual working this particular job? Then to make it worse.. I could have been anyone. She approached the car, didn't check receipt, said nothing and before I could say a word she dropped the product basically in my lap and was gone. Terrible. read more

Waiting for 20 minutes for someone to help me in the paint department. I needed paint mixed so I had no choice. While I waited 6 associates walked by and completely ignored me. I spoke to one associate and asked if I could get someone to help me with paint I needed mixed. He said he wasn't sure. Finally 5 minutes later another associate came and assisted me. She was kind and efficient. I went to check out and there were only two lines open. The lines were back to the isles. The line I was in finally moved up to my turn. The associate asked me to move to the other long line. When I told her there was a line there and people behind me she left and got someone else to open their line. It was really awful customer service. I have recently been shopping at Menards and will not be going back to Lowe's after this poor customer service experience. read more

This store is not worthy of a star. I bought a snow blower online for in store pick up on 1/29/2022 and received an email stating the item would be ready for in store pickup on 2/2/2022. On 2/1/22 i received another email saying the item was delivered to the store so I called the store and they told me it was delivered and would be ready for pickup on 2/2/22. I called the store on 2/2/22 when they opened and was told that the snow blower i paid for was sold to someone else. In the background you can hear someone saying I told them not to sell it because it was already sold to someone else but they sold it anyways. How does someone sell something after it was already purchased by another person. I was told there was nothing I can do but to order another one and give me a discount or refund my money. This is unacceptable as there is a snow storm headed our way today. There should be some reprucussions for this. I will not be purchasing ANYTHING from this company and would rather pay more at another store! read more

I have learned you have to do your own Q/A at the store after you order and when the item comes into the store before delivery. NO ONE AUTOMATICALLY DOES THIS AT LOWE'S FOR YOU. Then you ignorantly have item delivered, stay home from work for that, wait for scheduling installation appointment, take another day off 4 weeks later, day comes, then find out that day of install, that parts are missing; and you had NO IDEA. You are just the stupid consumer, you know...Then you can wait some more for missing parts to come in and everyone is blaming some one else! AND you are the ONLY ONE still waiting... I am on week 7, I think, for a Pella slider that was ordered in May and now will be installed (perhaps) by the end of July. If someone had the foresight to just check that all the parts were ordered and received prior to delivery, corrected their ordering sheets if they needed to, this could have saved the CONSUMER a lot of time and a trip for the installer coming from Medina, too. Call me a bitch, but sorry, the devil is in the DETAILS and Lowe's does NOT do this. They would have much happier customers if they DID. They make the customer wait, but they still get their 3K for the deal...! I got a new door that is still in the garage and a migraine. Oh; and A big bill, too. Was there @ 9:10am today. Couldn't find help because everyone was in a meeting in the center isle. Went to men's room and it looked like a tornado hit it ! Also noticed NO Americian flag displayed outside. Home Depot across SR57 has 2 flags flying. Now I know why Home Depot is my favorite. I went to the Elyria Lowe's to pick up patio furniture on 8/10/19. I live in Parma but this was the closest Lowe's to have what i wanted. I had borrowed a friend's truck to pick everything up with. When I went to pull up the truck for loading, it wouldn't start. I returned to the store and asked for help. They very kindly suggested a towing company close by, which I called and they sent someone out to assist. It turned out to be the starter, so had to be towed. At that point, I tried to find someone else to come to help get the furniture, so I didn't have to drive out there again. It took several hours for someone to come help, so while I waited, to a person, everyone was unbelievably helpful and friendly!!! I was in the store at least 3 1/2 hours. Everyone kept asking if I was ok, needed anything, etc. At one point, I knocked over my water bottle and it spilled on the floor. Someone came over and cleaned it up, despite my apologies and offers to do it myself. In addition, she offered to get me another water from their own inventory. I said I would buy my own but she insisted. I wish I could remember the names of everyone I encountered. Many of them work at the pick-up/return counter but even as I went outside to get some fresh air, a woman said "oh, are you still here? Everything ok?" Honestly, their customer service went above and beyond what anyone could have expected!! I basically camped out in their store all afternoon. Kudos to everyone I encountered in this store!!!! Your store manager should be extremely proud of all of their employees! I even spent more money while I was waiting. Thank you to everyone who helped me that day! read more
