They are well set up for a low key activity when the weather is nice, with picnic tables and shade awnings to arrange, and they supply you with clippers and a bucket of water for collecting. There are multiple plots of flowers, but they do request that you stay in certain ones, as they also fill commercial orders for the dahlias and sunflowers. But don't worry, they go into those beds and pre-cut the showy blooms so that you can include them in your bouquet, and you're free to visit and view without scissors. Anyway, super cute, fun morning, and I will for sure return. The season is short, so get on out there!

Overall, I have had a positive experience here. My only complaints are that the house plants inside are almost always mislabeled. I bought a hoya carnosa last week that was labeled as a philodendron xanadu. That is a CRAZY mix up. It didn't bug me much, because I know my plants and knew off the bat what it actually was. But, for the inexperienced person, this could cause problems as they're researching care or trying to learn about a specific plant. The other issue I seem to encounter is that the managers specifically always seem REALLY annoyed anytime they have to deal with guests. The regular employees are always friendly and helpful, but anytime I've had to have an encounter with a manager, they give me an attitude and act like they'd rather be doing anything else other than speaking with me. However, none of the negatives I mentioned are enough to keep me from shopping here. The location and prices are convenient.

The non plant goods are also very nice...........but for years I've struggled and watched people much older than myself struggle to move the shopping cart over the dilapidated parking lot, not just that it's unsightly but it is difficult to maneuver a cart over. I actually met one of the gentlemen who who owns the store about 2 years ago and kindly asked him why he wouldn't fix the parking lot. His answer of " it wasn't being done " was because of adding more space for products. I know we are all trying to budget for the high price of things.............but I think for what we pay when we shop there it is certainly worthy of paving the parking lot . Even our Marc's parking lot in North Ridgeville is better. I spend about 800$ every year in Gayle's and I will continue to buy things there ..........but come on! So having the cover made it so much easier to choose what I wanted. There are some things that are outside. But the majority of their products are under cover. The prices are not that bad. Very much in line with a garden center. The staff is friendly when you can stop them from running around. They are always moving and helping people out.
