Horrible, Horrible, Horrible service! If I could give them zero stars I would. I will warn you,…read moreif you have issues, you will never be able to contact the company directly. They use answering services and free-lance technicians. I have had no working refrigerator for 7 weeks now. They demand money up front so you feel forced to put up with their incompetence. The first tech came to repair my fridge. It was not cooling properly. After a few minutes, I could smell melting plastic. He ran outside and paced back and forth as he was on the phone with someone. He claimed he melted something that wasn't important, at this point the refrigerator wouldn't even turn on. The next tech, replaced the plug (my boyfriend tested the one he removed and nothing was wrong with it). The third tech was good. He didn't understand why the plug was replaced, and ordered more part (3rd part order). He was scheduled to come out last Friday. Took the day off work and a no show, and no one called. I called them twice asking for a status and I just received there answering service and not return call. So they called on Monday, stating they called me 2 times! Totally not true! This company lies! When I questioned him about the 2 times, he changed his story and told me he called once. The third tech warned me that they will lie so people don't get upset. Well I am upset. The 4th tech is scheduled to come out tomorrow. I am not very hopeful that my issues will be resolved.

We couldn't do same day, so we met the following morning. Just as hoped, the guy kept it straightforward, honest, helpful and as described. A little context: Originally Sears was out (yes, they still exist). Having repaired a few refrigerators, garage doors and operator control boards myself over the years, I knew things weren't right with these Sears guys (yes, plural -- well, one in training, poor sod). They weren't dishonest, really, just excessive. Especially with cost (...pretty obviously constrained by dinosaur policy -- what felt geared towards getting a fleeced customer to buy a new appliance from Sears). The Sears guys estimated a four-figure two-man project, including for two off-the-shelf generic machine screws, $37 each, parts only. (Still had to pay them for coming out.) Bless their little hearts. I can see how people get bamboozed by this blue-shirted Sears "professionalism". Hearing good things, I contacted Daniil. And in a little more than a day, paid an eighth of the price for way more, better, no-nonsense, good natured, in-and-out service. With warranty. (Sears' job was to be "As-is" for an older-ish appliance in excellent condition.) We're grateful, Daniil -
