Our dryer died so rather than waiting until tax free weekend, we ventured to Lowe's to order a new one. Chris was very friendly and tried to steer us to the best value but we opted for an LG washer and dryer with more bells and whistles. The only problem is the dryer is not in stock so we must wait close to a month for delivery. At least they will take our old washer and dryer for a fee. Plenty of product offered and price is better than their major competitors. Addendum: be aware, Lowe's uses a third party to deliver appliances and they are unprofessional. They were supposed to call us the night before to give us a two hour window- they never called. We called and were finally given a time. The men arrived and dropped off our new appliances took the old dryer but never took our old washing machine (left new appliances in hallway). When we called to complain we were told they could not come back for 3 days( are you kidding). Lowe's wants to sell product but the onus is then on you- be aware. PS. Sunday Lowe's sent a driver out to fix the problem. We were at a funeral and could not be home; again, coordination is lacking. My wife and I ordered a grill for her daughter and husband. We intentionally ordered it with the free assembly. My wife called a couple of days before the delivery and verified it was being assembled. And guess what?? The grill was delivered unassembled!!! What kind of business is this?? We could've picked up the grill ourselves unassembled and given it to them on Christmas. We intentionally ordered it to be delivered assembled on the 22nd since it would not fit in our car assembled. My experience with Lowe's Danvers has been beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. In October, I purchased a new Frigidaire refrigerator from this store. It was delivered and installed while I was traveling. When I returned home, I discovered the refrigerator was damaged. I contacted Lowe's immediately, only to be told that because I called one week later, I had "missed the return window" -- despite the fact that the damage occurred during delivery and installation. I was then sent to the manufacturer, who had to come out to assess the refrigerator. Frigidaire confirmed there was damage and told me to return to Lowe's for a replacement. When I went back to the store, the only person who showed any level of care or accountability was the store manager, Chuck. While I appreciate his effort, the solution Lowe's came up with was absurd: I was told I had to purchase an entirely new refrigerator, have it delivered, and only after the original damaged unit was returned would I receive a refund. Fast forward to today -- the second refrigerator arrived. It was also damaged. We inspected it on the truck and refused delivery because it was visibly damaged before it even came off. So now: I am out over $3,000 for two refrigerators I still do not have a single undamaged refrigerator I have not received any refunds I'm out $110 in delivery fees and tips I'm out $100 in haul-away fees, yet the damaged refrigerator is still sitting in my home This entire situation has been exhausting, time-consuming, and financially stressful. Lowe's policies and processes have completely failed here, and customer service outside of Chuck has been dismissive and unhelpful at every turn. I expected far better from a company of this size. Instead, I've been left without a working refrigerator and thousands of dollars tied up, with no resolution in sight. Bought a Fridge from the Danvers Lowes on 6/6 and was told it would be delivered 6/15. On 6/14 received text and email saying it was coming the next day between 8:45 and 12:45. That night I emptied the freezer section of my old fridge and placed the items in our Condo's clubhouse freezer which is always empty. On 6/15 I woke up early to get the Fridge section emptied so they could take the old one when the new one came. Received a call at 8:15 saying that it wouldn't be delivered for another 2 weeks since it was a special order. The Special order was that it was White. I asked about the alerts telling me it was coming and they said those are automated. I asked why someone didn't call me the day before so I wouldn't have to empty out my fridge. They couldn't answer. I had to take all my freezer items out of the clubhouse freezer and put them back in my old one. 2 weeks later I receive a text and email on 6/27 that it was arriving between 2pm and 6pm on 6/28. I waited until 11am and emptied out my freezer again and put everything in the clubhouse freezer. I then emptied my fridge section into 2 large styrofoam coolers. They arrived at 6pm and took the box of the truck. The box didn't have a mark on it but there was a big gash in the side of the fridge that look like a fork lift probably did it. I sent it back. I went to the Lowes store and requested a complete refund and will never do business with them again. Went to pick up my hardwood flooring as I was texted that it was ready . I should have called ahead to give them a chance to get it up to the front but instead I just went there on a Saturday morning. Customer Service called for it and after a few minutes followed up and said they were on it. While I browsed , the Store Manager Chris noticed I was waiting and he called for it as well.. just as it was being rolled out by Liam who with another associate took it to my truck and loaded it for me. Despite my unannounced visit , everyone from the Service desk to the back room seemed genuinely concerned that I was being helped. The Boss, Chris seemed to be highly involved and concerned with all the immediate goings on of the store and ready to jump in anywhere needed. I just want to say that the customer service at this Lowe's location needs improvement. Employees do not seem to care about the customer hence it's almost impossible to get someone to help you out. I tried approaching an employee a couple of days ago with a question to which they responded with "Never do that again". That employee seemed very rude and disrespectful, wouldn't look at the picture I wanted to show them, neither seemed like they wanted to help me. At the same time they'd also not let me get within 6 ft of them so I can show them a desired product on my phone, which I also found a little strange. We recently purchased an electric dryer from Lowe's and paid for removal of existing dryer. The delivery team came and refused to take the dryer, and told us to remove it ourselves and place it on the curb and they would then haul it away. I called Lowes and they said they should have taken it and that they would return on July 4, which they did. Again, they refused to take it. we now have a brand new dryer sitting in our living room and hoping that the plumbers coming today can help us out with this. I am beyond disappointed with Lowes. We went there to buy a refrigerator on June 9. It was scheduled for delivery on Sunday June12 from 8 am to 8pm. Guess what, it never came. Waited all day. No calls saying running late or can't make it today. Nothing! I tried calling the store, but guess what no one answered the phone. My girlfriend and I just had the exact opposite experience as Amy L. down below. We were shopping here when we became interested in a refrigerator on clearance today, but no one was around in the appliance department. We spoke with an associate sitting at the counter alone in the adjacent kitchen department, asking if she could find someone available... After telling us to walk around and find someone, I asked her if she could page someone which she reluctantly did (after putting down her cell phone). An appliance associate came over, with a clear attitude that we were putting him out by asking for help, and offered limited information on the fridge in question. We decided not to buy it, as well as to not buy anything we had already picked out and left. We then visited The Home Depot down Andover St. (toward Middleton). Night and day difference in that store, from the greeter as we entered the store (which Lowe's does not have) to all other associates we interacted with, who showed us kindness and respect. We would visit either store in the past depending on item availability/cost, but def. will check out The Home Depot exclusively out of these two locations from now on! read more

Set a scheduled delivery for Thursday. I took a day off work. I get conflicting notifications via email on Thursday that they are delivering on schedule, and that delivery moved to Saturday. I call, no answer. I call again, no answer. I get someone, they have no idea. And then the next day I try to call again- again no answer from any department. Don't use this Lowe's- what a waste of time and unnecessary frustration. Very poor service in the store and worst when you I try to call. I ordered about 7 windows on April 11, 2021 they give me a delivery date May 31, 2021. I generally try to purchase my appliances from independent companies because they offer better service and I want to keep the little guy in business. However, I was in desperate need of a washing machine, so I purchased one at Lowes in Danvers on 5/24/22. The sales woman assured me that I would receive a call on 5/31/22 with an estimated time of delivery for 6/1/22. Naturally, that didn't happen, so I called the store. I spent an hour trying to speak with a person. I went online and it claims the washing machine was delivered. On 6/1/22, I called the store at 7:00 a.m. and they said the delivery was scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Around 11:30 a.m. I received a call stating they cannot locate the machine, because they cannot locate the truck or the driver, but they'll keep me updated. I called the store and of course, I was transferred from department to department. Finally, I spoke with the store manager, Jason T., who basically didn't care or apologize. I cancelled the order and asked for a receipt to be sent. Naturally, it wasn't. I had to drive to the store and request for it to be cancelled. The store customer representative told me the machine had been delivered. I explained that it hadn't been delivered. I called the corporate office and complained. Shortly after, I received a call from someone the corporate office asking me the same questions. Clearly, even the corporate office is a disaster! NEVER AGAIN! read more

Also stating she hoped I was on a boat somewhere with the nice weather with a happy face? We have torn apart our laundry room, disconnected the units with the delivery for the next day. I took vacation time for this delivery and now only the washing machine is being delivered. A staff person came to measure 8 windows for blinds. Lowe's charged me $35. He told me I'd have the measurements and suggested blinds the next day. I never heard from him. I made several calls to Lowe's to follow-up. I didn't hear back for a few weeks when, out of the blue, a women called and left a message with only her first name, no last name, no call back number. Would give in zero stars if possible. I bought a rider lawn mower. Paid with cash. On date of delivery the called to say it would be dropped off between 12 and 4. An hour after this call they called to say they never received order and would be delivering 5 days later. The mower was a birthday gift. It was to be delivered on his birthday! The sales clerk was aware of this when we arranged date! I cancelled order. However they want to give me back my money in a gift card! I want a check or cash! Customer service said she couldn't do anything "she needed to speak with someone". She also said she would make the store manager aware of the situation. I waited for call back heard nothing. On 4/4/19 I went into Lowe's to order a washing machine. No one was working in appliance department at the time, but a woman in the next department over agreed to take my order. I came prepared with the washer's part number. As she was entering it into their system I couldn't believe that it looked like their system ran on DOS- F key demands. The woman was very nice and told me that it was special order and the washer would be delivered in 2 weeks. I would get 2 calls-- a call that it came in and then an automatic call about the delivery the next day. 4/17- The day the washer should arrive. No call that it came in but received a call it would be delivered the next day as planned. 4/18- End of delivery time window-I call delivery number and the company says the delivery has been postponed call Lowe's. Yup, the washer hadn't arrived. Annoyed I call the manager, and all he says is that their systems do not talk to each other. Clearly not if you are using something from decades ago. Not satisfied with that lame excuse I went into the store again and demanded an explanation and something for my troubles as I spent an afternoon working from home waiting for a washer. A manager on the phone authorizes a 10% discount and says the washer will come in that day 4/22 and be delivered 2 days later 4/24. I get a call from Delivery Company that confirms this. 4/24- Delivery window is from 10-3pm. Around 1:20p delivery men show up. I show them the old washer that needs removing, which I paid for. He points at hose and says I need a new one. I said yes I ordered it. I run up and show him the receipt with new hose listed. They do not have a hose on the truck so I speak to manager of delivery company and refuse the delivery. Try again tomorrow. I have just about had it with Lowes right now. I was not going to write a review after getting 10% off but not having the hose that I ordered on top of the whole ordering fiasco. Please Lowe's get your sh-- together. I will also note that the woman working the customer service desk and answered the phone was very condescending. I had someone measure my kitchen floor for an estimate to order laminate which my landlord (a family member) is paying for and needed the quote to be emailed yet they called me telling me (after I informed them the landlord was paying) that she would have to come to the store as well as there be pricing added (whatever that means) then said the landlord has to call Lowes! I was told that I wouldn't receive a call to schedule until after the door arrives and is inspected for damage and to make sure that it is the correct size.(makes sense right?) I didn't receive a call after 5 weeks so I called Lowes, only to be told that I have to call AMAR, the installer. AMAR said" We have the door but we have to inspect it for damage and make sure its the right size." Three days later, AMAR called to schedule for the following Tuesday. On Tuesday I receive a call from an installer who said that the installer that was assigned to your installation didn't show up for work today so I took his jobs, BUT I don't know if I'm going to make it there today. WHAT??? He said "I'll call you this afternoon to tell you if I can make it." I waited around ALL DAY LONG FOR HIM. He calls at three o'clock to say he's on the way. PERFECT..... He gets there.....and guess what? He tells me that the door is damaged but he has some good news....What is that?? "I can expedite a new door to be delivered in one week."I was suspicious of this because it took over a month for the original door to arrive. After numerous calls to the store and cooperate offices, I still don't have a resolution. Nobody ever calls me back and Brian the manager wants to cancel my order because they cant get it right have absolutely no control over their installers. This is a SIMPLE garage door installation. We also had issues with delivery of our appliances. We told them at the time of sale that we wanted them all at once. Guess what?? One by one they arrived.
