I have a Sub Zero Model 642 refridgerator that had stopped working on a Friday night. On Saturday…read moremorning I was able to schedule an appointment online for the 9:00 to 11:00 time period. Adam came out and was very knowledgeable. He pointed out that I needed a new master control board due to a failure with it he found. He also pointed out that the master control board works with several different Sub Zero model, but my old (failed at this point) was not configured properly for the Model 642 so he fixed that as well when he installed the new board. He noticed that the fan above the refrigerator was not properly grounded so he connected the grounding wire to it. He also thoroughly examined my system and noticed that the "input panel" had a defective on /off switch which would trigger a spurious "off command" to the master control board. He disconnected the "input panel" from the master control board so no spurious off command would be issued until he could receive a new "input panel" so I could have use of the refrigerator for the few days it would take to get the part. He knew how to "work around" my problem so I could still have a working the refriderator. I could not change the internal refrigerator temperature during those days without the input panel, but I did not need to. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Appliance of Salem, your response misrepresents the facts of what happened…read more You diagnosed a cracked water valve, charged a $150 diagnostic fee, and then performed a nearly $500 repair to replace the valve. However, the moment your technician left, we ran a test cycle, and for the first time ever, the washer emitted an ear-splitting grinding noise--a noise that was not present before your repair. When we IMMEDIATELY called you back, you sent someone to inspect the issue. Instead of acknowledging the possibility that your technician either missed something during the diagnosis or caused an issue during the repair, you took the stance that this new problem was completely unrelated and required an entirely separate chargeable repair. Had this noise been present prior to your visit, we would have mentioned it--because it would have been impossible to miss. The fact that it began the moment we first used the machine after your repair should have prompted a second, more thorough evaluation on your part. Instead, your company refused to take responsibility, offered to remove the valve installed and issue a partial refund (while still keeping the $150 diagnostic fee for a misdiagnosis), and provided a coupon for future services--as if we would trust you with another repair. Your diagnostic process either failed to identify all underlying issues with the washer, or your repair coincided with the onset of a severe new problem, and your refusal to stand behind your work has been frustrating and costly. This is precisely why I left the review--to warn others about your incomplete diagnostics, inflated repair costs, and lack of accountability. If you truly regret this experience, you would refund the entire amount paid for your misdiagnosis and failed repair rather than doubling down on a misleading defense.

*First time customer review* Azamat at Pegas Appliance…read moreRepair Immediately responded to my project request in yelp. I have only used the project functionality once before but ended up using someone else. My normal repair go-to did not pick up the phone so I thought why not? They literally responded in under a minute. What's that saying the early bird catches the worm? Normally, I check out the business and see how many reviews they have do a little research but I was in a hurry so I asked how much and when they could come for a refrigerator repair. They said they could come the same day, And the price was right comparatively. (Diagnostic fee is 95$ which will go towards the repair cost.) There was some back-and-forth about when they could come and we decided on the next day. Adam showed up on time, was very polite and fixed our issue! Our Refrigerator had a lot of condensation and it turns out the fan was not working. He could've just said we needed a new fan and charged us for it, but he went beyond that and went through the back panel and noticed there was something unplugged and then the fan started working in our refrigerator is working great! I have so much respect for honesty and integrity. I highly recommend using their service I believe from the other reviews that they are a new service and they deserve all the new business! Finding trustworthy repair services can be hard and I'm glad I found Pegas and will absolutely be using them in the future, and you should too!
