We had several technicians from other companies try to troubleshoot and fix the problem, and they worked hard to get it working, including replacing the ice maker and water fill valve. But, they could not get it to work. We were resigned to have to purchase bags of ice for the remaining life of the refrigerator. As one ditch effort, I call Mr. Appliance of Salem, and Giuseppe Curreri came to troubleshoot the problem. After a good 2 hours of pulling out the refrigerator, testing the communicating lines and other parts of the ice maker system, studying the electrical diagrams, and talking with Liebherr technical support, he found the problem. And, as often is the case, the problem was simple but difficult to diagnose. I've never seen anybody so determined to solve a problem and with such a "never give-up" attitude.
