I was two seconds from fashioning a shelter out of washers and living there permanently when Robert appeared like a hardware angel with a name tag. Robert didn't just help me--he rescued me. This man navigated hex nuts, carriage bolts, wing nuts, and probably a black hole or two with the calm expertise of someone who has made peace with every screw type in existence. I asked him what the difference was between a lag bolt and a machine screw, and instead of sighing and pointing vaguely, he explained. With analogies. And patience. Like a saint. Or a kindergarten teacher for lost adults. Not only did Robert help me find exactly what I needed, but I'm also 93% sure I saw him guide another customer to enlightenment using only a Phillips head and a knowing glance. Once again, nothing has changed at this store. Picked out paint supplies and a color. Took my time as paint guy had been helping the same Boomer for a while. When I was finally ready to buy some paint I stood there waiting patiently. Boomer guy was in the middle of the paint mixing are behind the safety line with no comment from employee. Employees never acknowledged I was waiting or to let me know he would be with me next. Once Boomer guy started talking about his next selection and they both ignored I was there I was done. I DID NOT receive a delivery time call window and I DID NOT get a call from the delivery guy that he was going to be here in X amount of minutes. They just showed up. Since Lowe's did the exchange they did not add the power cord for the range. So the rude delivery guy left my range in the middle of the walk way and the dishwasher in the entry hallway. He told me to just go to Lowe's and pick one up. I was still talking to him and he ran down my driveway to his truck (saying I'm just delivery) and jumped in and drove off. The icing on the cake was this delivery guy was so eager to get out of here he forgot to take the damaged appliance with him. -BONUS you will be coming back!!! (Better be before trash day!) I am on the phone with the Lowe's delivery as I write this review and it is a 30 minute wait time. I'm 16 minutes into the call and i am getting more pissed off as I sit on hold. So it would be better for Lowe's to answer soon. I think it is totally ridiculous that you have to buy the power cord separate from the range. Just another way to get you to spend more money. (Like the range and other appliances were not expensive enough!) After 22 minutes on hold I FINALLY got someone to answer my call. The lady on the phone said she could make a claim but it will be at least 24 hours. Someone called me back later that afternoon to book an appointment for "hook up" of the range. She said the delivery guys should have done this. (DUH!) She also said someone else would call me to set the appointment for the dishwasher install. Of course they both could not be done the same day. One on Wednesday and dishwasher on Thursday. Today (Wednesday) the guys came to pick up the damaged dishwasher and install the power cord to the range. (These are different guys than the ones running down my driveway.) These guys said they don't know why they did not do the hook up on the range because EVERY TRUCK has extra power cords. (I'm just shaking my head) It took them less than 5 minutes to load the other damaged appliance and do the hook up on the range. Dishwasher install was the next day, Thank heavens it was not damaged and everything went smoothly! WE'RE finally done with Lowe's Appliance department. This is another company that once they get your money they just don't give a crap about how your service is afterwards. read more

I would not recommend this location. If you like horrible customer service. I spent 3hrs in this store picking up items for the new home we purchased and creating a list for the bigger items we need to purchase and inquire more details. Not one person asked if we needed help. Frustrating but we stuck through it. When it came time for us to check out we asked the cashier if they can price match a drill ( CMCK200C2) set we found on Amazon for a cheaper price and he was unaware of the policy and asked we wait while manager Monica or Monique assist us. We spent 10 min going back in forth when she arrived at the self checkout lane while the first 3 min Monica/Monique spent training another gentlemen why they will not price match. As I tried to explain to her it's the same item and model she refused. Saying it's not the same. Already frustrated and exhausted I held my temper and left. If it wasn't for my partner I would have returned the garage door opener, installation , and just gone some place. read more

I needed 5 small samples of an exact color matched paint. I realize this is not the most fun order... After picking my samples and bringing them to the counter, my young best daughter asked me if she could watch, but mentioned she couldn't see. I started to walk her around to the other side of the counter so she could see a little better, when Maria shared she could come behind the desk with her. Before she started, she said "want to grab your sister, too?" She then showed the girls how to scan swatches, push buttons, drop the colors and shake the cans. They were so excited and it completely changed their outlook on an errand with mom today. Alright, I'm updating my review from a year ago. Today a gentleman definitely showed exceptional service with it being 34° degrees and with some intense rain and wind. He offered to help us load a lawnmower into our car and it was definitely a struggle, but he executed all the way through in the bad weather. I'm quite impressed and also so grateful for Nick's service. Also, today I was in the garden center looking at the new pallet of plants they recently took off the truck. So many varieties and nice quality plants! Super impressed! A gentleman came and greeted me and conversed with me all the popular house plants people are currently obsessed with. Such a nice helpful gentleman! This currently is my new and local Lowe's, and though my first experience here was not so great, these guys really made up for it! read more

Ordered two Adirondack chairs and a table from this Lowe's on the app on Sept 5. Supposed to be ready for pickup three days later. On the third day showed "delayed" on the app, and has ever since. I called corporate yesterday to find out why my order hadn't come in yet, and they said my order had been shipped to this Lowe's "a long time ago" and that I should call to find out how to pick it up. I just called and was put on a "brief" hold that lasted 30 minutes until I hung up. They obviously had no interest in helping me. This is a very poorly managed store. Don't bother doing an online order from this store, they're too lazy to accept the shipment when it comes in, too lazy to update the status, and too lazy to talk to you when you call to find out what's going on. Their main competitor is a mile away, and I've never had this problem with them, ever. The manager of this Lowe's should be fired. read more

Poor service! Loaded wood needed. Go to get needed wire 14/2 that I needed and waited 10 min then an associates comes and had another associate on the phone saying it would be another 10 to 15 minutes! I said you can't do it he said no. I said ok I will go to Home Depot for the wire. Walking back to my needed boards blocked by a forklift because he can't figure out how to turn down the aisle. As flag guy is just staring at him watching. This was an exchange because my first washer delivered a week ago shook violently on the spin cycle and a new one was being delivered. BEWARE of the third party logistics company they use, XPO LOGISTICS is awful. ABSOLUTELY awful. The company has a 1.3 star rating. Why would Lowes continue to use this service? Juan was driving an unmarked truck with no TX DOT number or company written on the truck. This is sketchy as well. When I asked about running the 5 minute test cycle (as suggested by customer service) Juan became aggressively upset about having to wait and put his hand up for me to be quiet when I asked for him to call his manager. After he dialed the number, he said, "let me talk to my manager first" and he put his hand up like stop for me to wait. I do not recommend this ridiculous location/store. They inconvenience a customer to death I have unloaded the contents of my refrigerator 3x's and the last refrigerator has a noise. They will be picking up the refrigerator and dishwasher purchased back on November 4 & 5 and it's now December. They are selling a refrigerator with a capatiable icemaker according to their paperwork but it is not compatible. Their solution is for us to call a plumber to install a longer waterline that attaches from the top of the refrigerator to the bottom the refrigerator. Heads up--Victor an assistant mgr. has no customer service skills...but, neither does another assistant mgr. Phillip. RIDICULOUS! Going back to Home Depot, for excellent customer service. Update: I filed a dispute in December because I still had a balance of $37 on my credit card from the result one of the transactions the Phillip (asst. Store Mgr.) had his people complete. Today, I called and apparently Lowe's credit card customer service closed the dispute stating I owe the taxes for no items from Lowe's and furthermore, did not notify me. Now there is a late fee on the taxes...WTF! read more

I needed some very specific trim and did manage to find it at this location but only in a 12' length which is too long to fit in my car. Before I bought it, I asked the person at the lumber checkout area if they could cut it for me and they said they could. So I bought it, they announced over the PA for assistance in the wood cutting area, and I headed back there. I waited, and waited, and waited. After 30 minutes, I had them call for help again, and I waited some more. After a full hour of no one coming to help, I walked all of my purchases up to the front and returned everything. The lady at customer service said they wouldn't have been able to cut this specific trim anyway because it wasn't real wood. Are you kidding? I specifically made sure they could before I bought it, so that's double the incompetence. So don't expect any kind of help at this location. A complete waste of time. read more

Lumber in store is almost always warped, cracked or will crack once you saw or drill it. Some employees are knowledgeable and nice. Others cannot tell their a55 from their elbow. Been waiting for one of them 40 minutes for him to get an electronic ladder to get a machine from the top shelf. Turned out he was struggling with it because he didnt know how to operate it and it took all this time for another employee to come and show him. Trying to return items takes FOREVER. Been waiting 20-35 minutes sometimes because they dont prioritize the returns register. All in all, I dislike this place and especially the manager. NOT RECOMMENDED read more

This message is specifically intended for the HB store, particularly Manny Pena. I've encountered a significant issue with an order from Diamond Kitchen Cabinets. I'll be candid - the situation was incredibly confusing. I paid a substantial amount for this order using my Discover card, a card I've owned since 1990 and this was my first ever dispute. It was not a simple process. I had to write numerous term papers and we had to visit Lowe's multiple times with my paid installation expert, who spoke a language I could never comprehend (and of course, I had to pay for each of these visits). Discover initially agreed, then changed their mind, and then I had to reopen the dispute. After months of back and forth, a representative from Lowe's corporate office added a comment stating "I was happy" (which was far from the truth). I want to emphasize that after Discover closed my case (against me), I visited the store one last time and the store was able to assist me. I'm unsure if Manny alone or Chris (the supervisor) was responsible. I can confirm it wasn't Tony (he was unhelpful). I want you to understand that I will continue to shop at Lowe's, maintain a positive relationship with Manny and Chris, but I will no longer use my Discover card. They can go to hell. I appreciate the local store for doing the right thing. I hope someone pays it forward to you. read more

I checked in about two hours ago, passed a dozen clerks, asked for asistance from two that made eye contact, received incorrect information. Five or six more associates later i finally got some assistance. It took 30 more minutes of looking for the item until it was determined i could use a larger size. The 1st initial encounter i asked the young man to have someone pull over a 3 dozen of an item because ill need it, instead he asked 45 mins later if I found the person "he was supposed to be looking for". Needless to say 3 hours and counting and over a dozen encounters with associates im finally getying some where. Lets hope the check out is speedy. Lowe's finally called and agreed to replace my washer after me threatening to sue about them changing my 30 day warranty to 48 hours. My husband got his tools and tightened up the hoses, and discovered that this was the cause. The installers did a rush job and didn't tighten the hoses properly. I came here about a year ago, asked a question of the outside garden center staff and they simply could not answer the question & were not interested in finding someone to work with me. Because this place is close to home I tried It again today. Had another question that the only available staff ( who is checking out people & wouldn't necessarily know answer) could not answer. She did not know who/how to find the applicable person to answer question. I asked her to get a manager which she tried to do but that person did not surface. This is the last time I come here. We came in looking for a new washer. We had to ask for help from a lady wearing a LG shirt. She had no idea what the price was for the washer we were interested in. She had to look it up on her phone. She wasn't too helpful while we were waiting and didn't tell us much about the washer. Another guy who works there came by and he knew the price right off of his head. He told us that model was on backorder for two months though and anytime they have a sale expect that afterwards. The sale had ended the day before. There were no other brands or sizes we were interested in, so we went to Sears and found a huge Kenmore washer for much less than Lowe's. The same LG washer they didn't have in stock was available at Sears though and it was $50 cheaper without a sale. I will shop at Lowe's for garden things and repair items but not appliances. read more

This is literally the first review I've ever written. Ordered a Pit Boss Electric smoker online to be assembled and picked up. It was a Black Friday deal so I figured they might be backed up. After 2 weeks, I called and was told the wait was for assembly. I said no problem, I'd do it myself. Then about 2 hrs later they called and said they couldn't find it and cancelled my order. After work, I went to there and spoke 2 managers and they couldn't find the grill either. They said other stores couldn't ship a grill to them and said I had to drive to another store. At first, I was cool with that. There's a few that aren't too far. After the 3rd store, I just gave up and left. Not one apology, and not one , let's make this right.
