Aren't all Lowe's pretty much the same? Because we were buying carpet, we did interact with the folks in the flooring department. They were very helpful, but the process was a little overwhelming. I may need to update this review after the carpet is installed so I can give a complete review on the entire process. read more

Yelp's rating scale for Lowes doesn't go low enough. The scale should go into negative numbers to represent the store's and their NC headquarters' customer concern. I have been waiting +107 days to have 180 sq ft of carpet installed. read more

I picked up 9 bags of top soil. Had to load it onto a cart, wheel it to the cash register and load up in my car. No associates available to help. Any customer service non existent! Lowes is convenient down the street for me but will drive to home depot in the future. I used to be able to order soil and mulch drive to the side and a lowe's employee would load the bags in the back of my SUV. That was not available today as there was no staff working on a Saturday morning 10 am to do this. Only 1 person staffing the cash register in the gardening session that was it! Disappointed! read more

There is a 48-hour return policy on opened items. I don't see how this could be considered reasonable, and I find it downright deceitful that I was not informed about this at the time of purchase of a pole saw two weeks before. I have thousands of dollars for EGO Power+ tools, I don't simply buy them to use once and return. However, in this case I found I would prefer the pole saw attachment for my multi-head system unit instead of the standalone pole saw. However, my return was refused based on the policy I mentioned above. After the store refused the return, I attempted to reach the corporate office via the App to see if they would be of any help. The associate said they would file a formal complaint on my behalf, and the store would give me a call concerning it. Days later, after receiving no calls, I contacted Lowes on the App again. I was informed the complaint was reviewed and dismissed without any attempt to contact me whatsoever. So, two times this business was dishonest with me: once about their return policy, and again about my complaint. I would be a fool if I continued trying to do business with the people, and so I'll being going elsewhere. Lowe's is not the only store that sells EGO Power+ tools. read more

Lowe's screwed my neighbor. She paid cash for a refrigerator, but when it was delivered, it couldn't fit through the door and was taken back. Lowe's refused to provide a cash refund, instead offering a gift card that will arrive in three weeks. My neighbor has spoken with the manager, Justin, who was unwilling to help, and corporate is currently unreachable. As a cancer and heart patient with a diabetic service dog, my neighbor urgently needed a refrigerator to store insulin. I have reached out to Lowe's and received an unhelpful response. I do not recommend this business. #Lowes read more

Their website told us we could get next day delivery. We could not. They only deliver to us 2x a week. We were told that they would call the day before to let us know when it would be delivered. They did not. I was told by customer service that they would call the day of the delivery. No time frame was given for that. We requested a morning delivery, but were told no, they set the delivery time. I was finally given the window, but it was 4 hours, not 2 as promised. I would not buy an appliance from them again. read more

3rd party delivery service was horrendous Do not use Lowes to Deliver Made promises and charged for things the delivery service would not do. Basic things Disappointing. Poor service read more

Lowes needs to get their staff together, they waste so much for contractors. Thats why we prefer home depot just facts

I bought a Ge gas range in July of2022. From the minute I turned it on , it was faulty. 4 repairs within that year! I want a refund and I was told that I could have one , only for it to be retracted. I called Ge and after weeks of arguing, they offered me a refund then retracted it! Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous??? I have been a good customer of lowes for over 20 years. I will never set foot in that crooked business ever again . I'm also talking to my friends and acquaintance's of the lousy way that I've been treated. read more

We bought replacement windows from Lowe's. One window they shipped was the wrong style. Several of the screens had problems with holes or the frame for the screen being mishapen and not fitting right as a result. The installers took all of this information and disappeared never to be heard from again. We have called Lowe's about this multiple times. They express dismay about it, take our information, promise to fix things, and we never hear back from them. At least once we even talked to a Lowe's manager with the same result. Lowe's is good at many things but I would not recommend buying replacement windows or any large home project from them requiring installation. We would very much like to get this resolved as replacement windows are expensive and a major purchase for most folks. read more

My refrigerator has died. I am looking for a reasonably priced basic model refrigerator be it new, used or a marked down scratch and dent one. On the way to work I ran into this Lowes store to see them in person after doing some internet research. They had a smaller selection of refrigerators here than Home Depot. Most of them were upscale models priced from $1000 to over $2000. The small selection of basic models were of similar price to that of Home Depot. I made some notes on what I saw. There was a section of scratch and dent appliances here including refrigerators and freezers. The associate that approached me was friendly and offered me assistance. I will continue to look for what I need hoping to find something at a very reasonable price. Until next time be kind to each other. #yelpcincy #lowes read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Let me make clear this is a Lowe's corporate issue. If you frequently shop at Lowe's make sure to read this. We remodel homes and have a business frequenting Lowe's and Home Depot for tools and building products. We tried to return some items past the return date for cash back and asked for a store credit, as we shop here frequently, We were told Lowe's now has a new policy. LOWES NEW CORPORATE POLICY IS THEY NO LONGER ISSUE STORE CREDITS AFTER THE 90 DAY WINDOW. Given most projects take longer than 90 days this is common in the business / contractor world. Thank you Home Depot for continuing to honor your returns. With that said we were out several hundred dollars that would have been spent and Lowe's and more on future projects. It is time people start holding these corporations accountable for the way they treat customers by shopping competitors that stand behind their products and policies! I would also add that it took 4 employees to do a basic return of an item purchased 5 days ago. Maybe Lowe's should focus on training their employees rather than bean counters trying to determine how best to exclude their frequent high volume customers! read more

We needed to get some shades to block out the sun and didn't know where to begin. First we went to Home Depot and waited 45 minutes without being helped. We moved on to Lowe's and the staff was super helpful even thought they were fairly busy. We were able to get the question answered quickly. However, they were out of stock so we could;dn't walk out with what we needed. The staff tracked down the closest store with what we needed and called ahead to make sure the stock was available. read more

We bought a fridge on Saturday and It was to be delivered from the Ridge Ave store Sunday. Three calls on Sunday backing up the delivery time. Then they didn't show up at all. The next day I tried to call the delivery company but no answer. I went to Lowe's to complain that then they set up delivery for Wednesday. Three more days without a fridge. I bought one from Recker and Borger and went to Lowe's to cancel the delivery. It took them 45 minutes to figure out how to credit me. And instead of a usual credit I got a Consumer Appeasement Notice. Why would anyone do business with these people? read more

Lowe's has what one needs for their home improvement projects. I prefer Lowe's over Home Depot. The stores are cleaner, and the employees seem friendlier. This location is no exception. There always seems to be someone around to help me find what I need. Employees happy to find the answers you are looking for. Lines are rarely long. They have a good paint section. There are some good deals in various clearance areas around the store. read more

This place destroys the competition. They're on point and very friendly. I've been there probably 5 time in my life, but somehow the employees remembered me and asked about the project I had most recently been working on. I've been to hone depot down the street... Its not even in the same ballpark with this Lowe's. I love this place, love the atmosphere, love the customer service that I've had every single time I've visited. read more

There have been times in the past where I have been here up to five times in one day. The employees are very helpful and almost always around in the area, unlike the other big name store that comes to mind (rhymes with Gnome Repo). I find their prices to be competitive. The financing options available are adequate and reasonable. Overall, the amount of money I have saved by DIY'ing and using the employee's knowledge, has really helped make my life a little better. read more

We were told incorrect arrival dates. When delivered, we are missing a base cabinet, the ones we do have are scratched, have dents, and one is even split. Lack of communication and horrible customer service. Save your thousands. No one seems to care to even give us a call back. read more

Lowes is not for all the quick trips for little things like nails, screws, etc. A screw is a screw, and I have options closer to my house. I use Lowes when I'm looking to get something nice. Something of quality. For example, recently we had to replace a few light fixtures in my house. Lowes has an amazing lighting selection. Really beautiful items at great prices. I also find Lowes to be laid out more logically than Home Depot. This makes it much easier and quicker to find the items I need. A tip for this location, if you are heading back toward the interstate on Harrison Ave, don't wait at the light. There is another exit on the other side of the parking lot that usually is quicker. read more

I wanted to leave 1 Star, but they did come through in the end. I bought a stove on sale, and set it up to be delivered. The night before scheduled delivery no one had called me, so I called the store. The girl who answered the phone was very short with me and said they'll call you between 8-10 am to schedule delivery. The next morning 8-10 comes and goes, and no phone call. I call to talk to delivery. The guy tells me they have the trucks loaded and don't have my stove on them, then he looks in the computer and says you're scheduled for next Sunday. I tell him I'm not waiting another week, since it's already been almost 2, and I already had our old stove removed in anticipation of the new one being delivered. He says ok and hangs up on me. I call back to speak to the store manager. He is rude and combative on the phone. I tell him what's going on, when I ordered it, etc. He tells me he'll call me back after he checks this out because he only has my word on what's going on. After a few more call backs he tells me my stove is in the store, and he's working with delivery. At this point I was just going to go get it, when he called back and said that delivery would bring it out after they were done with their other deliveries. So I get a call at 2, and the guy tells me they're at the store and will be at my house in 15 minutes. They come, bring the stove in and everything is good. Here's why I'll never shop here again: everyone was rude from beginning to end, I don't appreciate a manager basically telling me I'm a liar, and why was delivery such a problem when my stove was already there and the delivery team was done at 2pm? If you only delivered for 4 hours, then you've got plenty of time to make more deliveries. read more

I'm here with my friend and she wants to buy paint and we pressed the "Need Help" red machine at the paint counter that announces over the PA that we need assistance. And we heard over the PA over 25 times that we needed assistance, talked to 3 different workers and they announced over the PA as well and waited almost 15 minutes, then someone finally came. Now that Bhavik, the worker, was here he was fast but not really friendly, and very monotoned, don't get me wrong he's a good worker but could be a little more happier/enthusiastic. But he was also very apologetic when our paint didn't match theirs. read more

Our experience with THIS particular Lowe's has been nothing less than exacerbating. Bought a fridge. It was unpackaged at the street & they brought the thing into the house with a huge dent in the door. That was 3 weeks ago. We're STILL waiting for them to rectify the situation. We rehabed a whole condo in Sarasota with the Lowe's down there. They were fantastic. Not so up here. Never again. Way too much aggravation. Another store may be different. read more

Our dryer quit working so we went to Lowe's to buy a new one. Service was atrocious but we couldn't be picky since it's so close to the holiday. We were happy that they could deliver On Monday (only 2 days on next day in stock not bad). I get off work early and wait and wait! My husband gets home, and calls the delivery to find out what's going on. It turns out that the truck was broke down but nobody bothered to call and let us know they were coming I will deliver that night. I husband calls the store we get a delivery for Tuesday after 130. He leaves work to be at home but at the designated time they gave him when they called at 8 AM in the morning. We get a call around 530 or so saying they would be there at 6:30 PM. We continue to wait and wait and wait and wait. My husband finally called back the number in about 715/730pm and is told it's too late they won't have time to do it tonight. They said sorry but they can come tomorrow! Not acceptable but hey they could come that night just drop it off and we could hook it up ourselves or you know they could just come tomorrow . The store manager when we called apologized and offered to take 15 percent off. I really don't care about the money at this point, it's about the fact that I now have laundry piling up since Friday and I have a kid back from college who has multiple loads of laundry and no way to get laundered. Recently we had bought another appliance from JCPenney and had perfect service. I'm sorry that we made the choice to try Lowes this time, I guarantee we won't be doing it in the future!!! read more
