    The employees are great here. The facility is well organized and I love the self check out machines. Most of all, I must give ASIA M. a special shout out! She supported us from the paint counter to getting the correct pesticides for my lawn. She was so incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and had the best attitude. She truly made our experience great and I will be coming back to Lowe's because of this experience!!!

    Trash still sittingbthere after 7 days. Workers left it all over the place, on the grass, street, driveway. we piled it up

    Help - we contracted Lowes Home improvement in Chester, VA for fence installation Aug. 01, 2019. Robert Rollins came out and gave us estimate. Installation originally was to occur Aug. 30th. They called on Aug. 22 to push back fence installation to Sept. 11. Was a little disappointed, but ok, can deal with that. A week before Sept. 11, items for fence installation are dropped off onto our driveway. We agreed, no big deal. Installation of fence actually occured on Sept. 11. only after havingvto go to the local store because only partial material was delivered. The very next day the gates were suppossed to be installed, and trash picked up. It is now Sep. 18, and about a dozen phone calls to Lowes and NOTHING! Gates still not installed and trash still sitting in the driveway, preventing me from getting in and out of my garage. On top of that, no help in sight! Local Lowes gave me the claims department POC name, but that lady has yet to return any of my calls. Tara, i would LOVE to speak to you and left you several VMs on 317-675-4493. Not sure you actually exist. In all fairness, Lowes contracts out Fence installation. We, my husband and i, have contacted the company that actually installed our fencee. RVR can be reached at 804-998-0981but they are no help, and on top of that rude and dismissive. Each time we call RVR you get the same answer. "Will handle tomorrow ". Well guess what, tomorrow comes and goes and NOTHING is resolved. I find it extremely distasteful that you treat your customers, and in our case, Veterans that utterly dismissive. Shame on you!

    Return policy shown to me by the store manager

    I purchased pvc pipe on Monday, had it cut IN THE STORE BY A LOWES employee but, had to return it on Tuesday because it wasn't what we needed. They returned all but the 2 cut pieces. I was told it was because it was now considered "used" and not eligible for return. I asked where it was in the return policy because it is not on the receipt or on the wall plaque return policy. I waited for my turn back in line while I observed a customer return a used cabinet vanity with no questions asked. When I got back to the register, who was the store manager, she had the policy pulled up on screen where she pointed out to me that it was used and non refundable. I still don't agree. But, I came home and went online to read the whole policy myself and decided to call customer service. I was told that they would "back the store manager", whatever they say. So I asked for her manager and got Keisha. Keisha read to me the non-eligible portion of the return policy, adding in "cut material is not eligible" for return.. I asked her to walk me through where it says that online because I was online and had the policy up. I guess she got sick of me and me challenging her and she told me that was the policy and they can't change the policy for me and that she was the highest level of management for escalations. Frustrating to say the least but this where we are in this world. Go vote, be kind and always present your best self first!

    A 3rd party delivery contractor was almost 1 hour late and never did call to give a timeframe window. The Lowe's manager said they were outside the house at 7:30 pm they started to offload a entire 2 pallets of shingles 2 houses down from me...... I ask the delivery guy if he was from Lowe's he said yes I ask him if he knew how to read address? He replied "F@&K off!" I quickly returned his unpleasant greeting, and called the lows manager. The manager gave a sincere apology and promised to call the delivery companies manager. Tate the manager is A #1 awesome he made the experience much better. He went out of his way to help....

    I am DONE with this place!!! My wife ordered a refrigerator 2 weeks ago to be delivered tomorrow. They sold it yesterday.

    I visited Pleasant's for the first time last month to purchase some screwdrivers to upgrade my…read morecurrent set (which I've had since 2006 when my grandmother passed, and she likely had the set for 40 years prior to that too). When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked if we were looking for something in particular. We were then efficiently walked over to the aisle housing screwdrivers and told about the different options. They were locked in a case, so we would've needed a staff member's help anyway. Apparently people like to steal screwdrivers, which I never would've guessed. Prices seemed fair, but to be transparent, I don't generally buy tools so I don't really know the going rates. Check out was just as efficient with a couple lines in operation. And the cashier was just as friendly as the staff member working the floor. Everyone was properly masked and social distancing was taking place as well. I would suggest supporting this small business and those like it prior to going to the big box stores.

    My experience at Pleasants today was, well, extremely pleasant! Me and my toddler set out to find…read moresome plants and supplies to start a home garden! I've never been interested in plants before quarantine, so everything was new to me. With all of this cooking I've been doing, I thought it would be nice to have fresh herbs at the ready, so off we went. This is the definition of a quaint, local hardware store. There is everything you could need for your home projects plus a little extra, but not much extra. The store is much less overwhelming than the big box hardware stores and the employees were SO helpful. I really enjoyed my experience there, which I never thought I'd say about a hardware store. I also enrolled in their loyalty program and got $5 off my purchase today. Score! Thank you, Pleasants, for providing the community with lawn, garden, and hardware needs for decades and still being a pleasant place to shop!
