I bought a trailer for my landscaping company and one of my employees had it hooked up going to a job and was pulled over turned out he had a fta warrant and was taken into custody. Since the trailer had lost its paper pm on Lowe's stickers they were informed of the trailers location and they had it picked up and taken to their East Bremerton store. After a ton of phone tag with police I finally was informed of this . When I went to Lowe's they said I needed proof of ownership , I said all they had to do was look up the VIN and see it was sold but they stipulated I needed proof. I waited another 6 weeks for title to show up and took it into store and they claimed they weren't in possession of the trailer and had no idea what I was talking about, I received the police report and showed them and they still denied any involvement and then I requested all of my email history from outlook to show them the string of emails regarding our interactions and theghosted. That was $1700 dollars and countless hours of my time they stole from me and apparently sold the trailer again after switching vin and sku with a damaged trailer. Absolutely derailed my business and my family's personal security. And smiled at me the whole time. read more

They never told me that the actual installation can take more than 3 months to schedule after signing the contract, and when they delivered the material there were defects so their sub contractor pointed it out and did not wanted to be part of a substandard project. Lowes tried to replaced it and after another month of waiting, the same defective door was redelivered! I cancelled the project and took another month before I got my full refund! read more

First stop after arriving via the Edmonds to Kingston ferry was the Lowe's on on Hwy 303 in Bremerton. There is quite the contrast versus the Lowe's I usually go to in North Seattle. First of all, this store is V A S T and well stocked. There were many store associates that were available throughout the store. North Seattle - there are times you feel like you need to shoot a flare to get any assistance, lol. And there's the scandily clad streetwalkers at the Aurora side of the parking lot, yikes! There were also specific areas to pause and meander through at the Hwy 303 Bremerton store: outdoor grills & accessories area and air conditioning. Nice to see the variety and price ranges. It was helpful to find all the items needed: 3M frame hanging tape, bungie cords, analog antenna, and a particular brand of spider deterrent. Even self checkout was straightforward and was greeted by an upbeat store associate. Convenient one stop shopping! read more

Lowes has a lot of things. Including bad customer service on appliances. I bought a Galanz retro refrigerator for a back up. It was supposed to be ready for pick up. But that was delayed 6 weeks. It's drip tray overflowed not once but twice. Within the first year. Ruining the brand new cabinets and floor.I just installed. Lowes referred me back to the manufacturer warranty. I've been trying to get in touch with the manufacturer and about every 5-6 weeks I get an email asking for more details. When I email back Their box is full and asks me to email at another time. Not one thing has ever gone right when I purchase at Lowes. First, ordered a storm door and the Lowes installer canceled 2 times and when he did arrive, it was the wrong door. Next, ordered a new stove for the kitchen. Came on time but they forgot the cord to plug it in. They wouldn't go get it, so I had to go to Lowes and get it the next day and then had to wait another day for installer to come back and finish the install. Ordered new handles for cupboards and received email that they had arrived but after going to the pick them up, they couldn't find them. I went back to the store 9 times. Yes, 9 times (!!!) and they still couldn't find them and finally told them I wasn't leaving until they found them. Took them 10 minutes in the warehouse to find them. Ordered new countertops. Was given a quote and when it came to paying for them, they had slipped another $400 onto the invoice. Fortunately, I had the email with the original quote so they removed the $400 which no one could explain to me why it was there. The installers were scheduled and the time frame was 8AM-11AM. They never showed. At 4PM I call and they said they would check to see where they were and would call me back. The call never came. At 5PM I tried calling back and it just kept going to voicemail. They showed up at 8PM!!!! I was taking a red eye flight leaving at midnight and had to cancel it. Lowes has lost all credibility with me and I will never do business with them again. read more

Had a wonderful experience with an employee named Kyle. Apparently his nickname is Captain America and have to agree with his coworkers since he helped me so much on educating me on the type of wood I needed for my project. He also helped my dad pick out a few tools that we needed. I get extremely overwhelmed being in these type of stores but he was acknowledgeable, very personable and well-spoken. It puts me to ease knowing that someone like Captain America (Kyle) is there to help not just me but other customers to find what they need. Definitely look for this guy because he knows his stuff!! Earlier this year we ordered a houseful of carpet and tile flooring from the Lowe's Bremerton, WA location, totaling $11,800. The carpet quality and flooring quality is great, but their management of the carpet installation process was horrible. The salesperson input my current address, phone number, and email address at the time of the sale, and my receipt has the correct information on it, but Lowe's sent a wrong phone number to their carpet installer, Premier Services Group. It appears that it was a phone number in their system from when I lived in Houston several years ago. Our installation date & time was initially set up, and later confirmed, by email, so we were unaware of any problem with the phone number. My wife and I took three days off work to move furniture before/after the installation. Unfortunately, the day before the scheduled installation, Premier called to say that the installation had been cancelled because they had a wrong phone number, and no one had responded to calls and texts attempting to confirm the installation. I was incredulous, since they obviously just called me on my correct phone number! They said it was Lowe's fault, and that there was nothing they could do. We were put at the end of the line, and the next installation date was two more weeks out! Our house was in disarray for two weeks, and we both lost three more days of pay. They should have suspected a wrong phone number (Houston area code for a Washington installation) and taken action earlier to get the correct number from Lowes, which they had finally done that day. Lowe's took absolutely no responsibility for their error. I talked to Shirley at Lowes "Installation Support Team" (what a joke), and she said it was an installation problem, so it was the installer's responsibility. She would not admit that Lowes was the root cause of the problem. Trying to get in touch with a manager at Lowe's was impossible. We were constantly told by phone that every manager was in a meeting at the time, it was simply ridiculous. They never followed up to see if the problem had been resolved, absolutely no accountability for their obvious error. I would have cancelled the whole thing at the time, but I was talked into getting a Lowe's credit card to save $600 on the installation. This was a huge mistake, as now I had no recourse for a refund, only credit back to the Lowes card. I have now shredded that Lowes card, and strongly recommend buying flooring from someone who will take responsibility for the installation, as well. read more

Told me they Couldn't't make 3 cuts per board on their saw. Stated the store only allows 2 cuts per board. I walked away from $100 worth of material that I was going to purchase. I'm thankful Home Depot came through. Went to Lowe's to buy a new lawn mower. Last one in stock if the one I wanted but it didn't have a grass clipping bad. The assistant manager assured me my own lawn mower's bag would work just fine.... Surprise! It didn't. Not even close. Called to talk to said assistant manager on the phone, he refuses to to answer as he knows it's me. Now I get to spend the rest of my day going back to return the lawn mower and then go to Home Depot where I should have gone in the first place. Lawn still isn't mowed. Lowe's just plain sucks. I was at the Silverdale Lowes yesterday and was told making a copy of my key for my storm door wasn't possible. I have had other trouble with Silverdale store it's not worth wasting my time there anymore. The house key they made didn't work either. Frank found the key blank and with the help of the other gentleman made a copy for me. They were both very helpful and professional. The tools were recommended by this very kind elder lady and with her experience and knowledge, I was able to complete the job. I have to be honest: I really don't like this Lowe's. I'd rather drive the extra few miles to Silverdale where customer service is consistently better. HOWEVER, the manager impressed me today. I noticed a serious safety issue when I walked in the commercial entrance, and promptly notified the manager (somewhat expecting some b.s. excuse). What a nightmare!! Don't ever order online. I waited two months for an order to be deliviered. There was no communication, whatsoever from them. Every time I called it would take ages for them to even verify an order had been made. There was countless 'reasons' why I had not received the order. Then there were countless promises that it was 'on the next truck'. Never happened. I was originally told the order would be delivered within two weeks. My husband and I purchased our first home a little under a year ago and its a "fixer". So needless so say we've made countless trips to Lowe's and Home Depot. Lowe's is closest to us, so we do come here more often then we'd like to... I've only had interactions with one person here and it was the girl at the paint counter (other than the self check out machines...). She acted like we were complete idiots when we ordered our paint. I would like to begin with stating this is no where near my first horrid experience with Lowes, this is a pent up frustration over a period of years. I will NEVER shop at a store that thinks its okay to hire rude people that would rather be somewhere else. Plenty of people looking for work, lets hire the willing , polite and able people, and stop accepting applicants that could care less. Its extremely frustrating for myself (as I work with the public) for a company to pick up the phone and just say "what department do you want?" There was no "hello" or "this is lowes" or ANYTHING like that. The girl on the phone sounded as if she would rather be anywhere but where she was. And after being so rude to begin with, when she transferred me she didnt say anything either. The phone rang for a moment, and the same rude monotone lady answered the phone again with the SAME attitude the first time around and the same "greeting" of "what department do you want?" almost as if she was mad i was even calling. This situation is what we like to call "the icing on the cake" Im over you Lowes. Im over your rude employees and peoples lack of knowledge in the departments they work in. We shop here by default as it's the closest hardware/project store to our house. We've been able to find just about everything we've needed at competitive prices. It can be difficult to find an available staff member for assistance and they often seem understaffed, but when I have received help the people have been great - friendly and going above and beyond to help you get what you need. Where do I start?? #1 - Cashier was bored, uninterested, rude, lazy, and zero concern #2 - Manager on duty (Tina) seems highly unmotivated to improve customer satisfaction #3 - After asking repeatedly in store what we needed to purchase in addition to the electric dryer in order to install it, we came home to discover that a power cord is not included. #4 - It was great "fun" to then have to deal with "Tina" again on the phone. She once again proved her lack of imagination and motivation. She also made the unfortunate decision to attempt to school me on what is not included in the purchase of an electric dryer. I politely pointed out that if her appliance employee had been properly trained he would have given us the correct information when we asked him in the store what else we needed. #5 - Home Depot is looking mighty good right now. Stood at the hardware kiosk about 10 minutes wanted a car key made. In the meantime used there machine to make my own front and backdoor keys. Never was acknowledged. I guess they don't care if you are there unless you are making a big purchase. Why do they have a hardware desk if it is just ignored. For the most part I really enjoy the service at Lowe's Bremerton but I do have one problem. The handicapped scooters are locked up in the returns section. Three times I have complained at the service desk and nothing has been done to address my complaint. All three times I got the same answer, "no room to put them elsewhere". Really? It's a big store. Think twice before you do a kitchen with Lowes. It is an assembly line and they work on more than 15 kitchens at a time. So many kitchens allows for too many mistakes and design flaws. Some mistakes can be corrected but at your expense. Unless you have a very simple kitchen remodel and you like all the product that Lowes has to offer, you should consider another design/contractor. read more

This is not the place to have any work done in your home. It is an extremely flawed business sector that they do not do well. There is no program management in place to ensure adequate oversight. They rely on marginal or very small construction provider to do the in home work. Getting a project complete on time and within budget is the exception rather than the norm. We used Lowe's for our kitchen renovation and the results were mixed. The negatives: Lowe's doesn't sell plumbing, electrical or painting services and I had to coordinate those myself You pay everything up front so there is little incentive to complete the job. Ours took 5 months and for most of that time our kitchen was completely useless. Our project was delayed by about a month because two cabinets arrived damaged. Our cabinet installer treated our job as a low priority. Fitting in a day or half-day when he didn't have more important work to do. The installer was incredibly unfriendly. There were quite a few errors in our contract. For example we ended up with some very nice slow-close hinges and some that just allow the doors to slam. The stores offer was that I pay for new hinges and pay the installer to change them out. Some installation costs weren't included so we ended up paying more than we had planned. On the positive side: Our designer gave us very good advice and we are satisfied with the look of our kitchen The quality of the cabinets and installation are very good. The bottom line: if our contract had been double checked and we had more motivated installer this would have been a great experience. read more

I don't even know why I keep coming to Lowe's. The worst service. No one ever says hello, or asks me how I am doing. The associates rather talk to each other than a customer. It was a slow time at 6pm parking lot was empty and all the employees wanted to focus on were tasks instead of my family. All I kept hearing in a basically empty store was overhead pages for help, that never got answered. This is ridiculous when there were like 3 customers in the store. I mean heck the gal at the pro counter must have thought it was arts and crafts time, since she was just ignoring me and my family while cutting things out of paper. Lastly I absolutely hate how the store layout is and that leaving the store is nearly impossible unless you go through a register. No registers were open except for one narrow side of self checkout where I had to squeeze past s customer with a cart of lumber. It is really the dumbest layout. I will take my business to Home Depot from now even though I live a block from this Lowe's. The Silverdale store looks and feels nicer. The employees talk to you, and the store is easier to navigate. read more
