I purchased a washer and dryer for delivery. I received texts that the delivery would be between 9:30 and 1:30. The messages also said that I was the fourth delivery on their route. I ran an errand and at 9:40 we received a phone call that they were at my home waiting for me. I said I was 10 minutes away and I would be there shortly. I was told that they would wait for me. When I got home at 9:49, the delivery service DSi logistics was gone and they left a note on my door saying that they had been there since 9:30 a.m.. however, my cameras timestamped that had arriving at 9:37 a.m.. I called the logistics company that contracts with Lowe's and they gave me ridiculous excuses. I also complained to Lowe's directly on their 800 number and instead of offering me a second chance of they refunded my money which was close to $2,000. Their loss. To be honest, my wife and I were at Home Depot across the street for over an hour. They were not able to help although they had the staff. I had a plumbing issue and only needed an adapter for my pipe. After finding out that they did not have the part I needed, we THOUGHT LETS GO TO LOWES. We walked in and an employee looked at us and put her head down, SHE DID NOT WANT TO HELP. Thankfully, we did not need her help. We continued our walk to the plumbing area and SUSIE greeted me, "How are you doing Sir, how can I help you," she asked. Within less than 5 minutes, SUSIE fixed our problem. I was so appreciative fr what she did that I hugged her from the side. We dismissed ourselves and walked towards the front and DANO greeted us, We talked for about 5 minutes. We ordered from Lowe's Apple Valley a 7000 MasterCool swamp cooler, a stand , and a motor for the cooler. They shipped the motor by FedEx. The cooler was delivered from Master Cool. Upon receiving and unboxed the cooler had dings and dents. We asked if they could pick it up and they said no because we didn't buy the protection plan. So my husband had to put this 300 lb cooler in his truck to return to the AV store. Which was a trek in itself ! We returned reordered the 7000 MC cooler, and a 1hp motor, the first motor was 3/4 hp. They refunded the money and reordered the same item# cooler and a 1 hp motor. 1992. dollars and change. They say it was redelivered and I did not receive any notice in advance of the delivery and I have an electric gated entrance to my property. Now it can't get delivered until June 11! Mind you in the High Desert it is heating up. If it wasn't for the assistant Mgr. Joshua , I would have given it less to none stars! There wasn't anyway to rush delivery and with health reasons the heat is not my friend ! Joshua offered 10% off the total which is good. I'm still thinking of contacting Corporate Lowe's. I know that wouldn't change anything accept make them aware. Well I'll wait to see how this new reorder works out. They told me they have a new policy against doing exchanges, the manager LIED to me and told me only service animals are allowed in the store, changed her answer three times on what their pet policy was each time I pointed out that she had stated factually incorrect information about their policy, would not help me find any of the products I was looking for, told me that I had to CARRY my 20 pound sight hound around the store because he barked ONCE at a passerby who didn't notice, followed me around the store and nit picked my dogs behavior, accused me of her having to clean up dog pee when my dog actually had peed OUTSIDE the store, told me that my dog was a safety hazard when he was standing there while she lectured me about having my dog in the store, meanwhile they left dangerous equipment blocking the aisles that had exposed wiring that was actually blocking the aisle and the product I was trying to access which she didn't notice because she was too busy harassing me and my pet to do her job. Store refused to let me speak with a manager, give me a phone number for a manager, and referred me to an overseas call center. According to the person who answers the phone the store manager does not interact with customers and apparently reports to nobody. Thats why the local management gets away with harassing customers and not doing their job. If you care about safety how about move the tripping and electrocution hazards out of the way. And you won't be able to track how much money you are losing because NOBODY in the history of me shopping here would ever help me sign up for your rewards program. read more

Went to the Lowe's in Hesperia their paint department was down I drove to Apple Valley went to the paint department can't remember the kid's name I went there on Veterans Day their machine was working I was there about 9:30 the kid working the paint department is outstanding he did an amazing job actually I will drive to this Lowe's I think it's better outstanding customer service at the paint department he even talked me to into putting the glitter in the paint awesomeness! The time is now 2:27pm, and I am leaving the store because of the poor and inattentive service at this location. I have easily waited over 20+ minutes for one of their service representatives to assist me with finding a specific air filter. I was told on two separate occasions that they would contact me"Anthony" to assist me with no avail. I came in to pick-up a curbside order. When I arrived, there was a woman with a strawberry cart sitting in the middle of the only shaded curbside parking spot, selling strawberries. After the associate came out with my items, I mentioned to him that I would have liked to park in the shady spot, but this woman selling strawberries had taken up the entire spot, preventing me from doing so. He didn't respond to my comment, didn't give a damn, and I immediately felt that I did not matter as a customer. It was 90 degrees out, I'm old, and my car has a glass roof, so yeah, it would have been nice to park in the curbside spot that had the shade as a I waited for my order to be brought out. Especially considering, this other person was not a customer. Anyhow, I put it in reverse to leave, and immediately realized that I was blocked in. A car stopped directly behind my vehicle to buy strawberries! I put it back in park and went inside to talk to a manager. They called a manager by the name of Vick. I waited and waited, but Vick never came. I finally decided to leave when I noticed out the store window the strawberry woman was away from my vehicle. But as I left the parking spot, I saw the woman's 3-4 year old girl sitting on the curb. ALONE. I looked around, and saw the strawberry woman had left her child to go over a couple rows to sell strawberries. I thought, is this the Twilight Zone? I continued trying for about an hour, well after I got home, to contact the manager, and had absolutely no luck. I honestly think I would be afraid to return to this Lowes again. I see now why this store only has 2 stars. I was looking to replace all the doors in my house so I got a home quote from Kenny. I don't know what store he's out of, he told me he represented ALL of them in the high desert. I thought, 'wow, he really knows his stuff.' Felt good about the quote, he gave me a discount because of a special they were having. He even had my apply for the credit card, which I did. Once he left, he dropped off the face of the earth. Never sent me the contract, even after following up with him several times. Just completely blew me off. I know management is supposed to follow up (I know several managers from other locations), but never did. Terrible service for high priced items like my job would have been. read more

I go to Lowe's mainly because I've had a Lowe's card for years. I've been needing a new fridge for a while. I looked at Sears but they didn't have what I was looking for. But, Lowe's had several. I chose I that was perfect and on sale. I put it in my cart and started secure checkout. But upon entering my payment info I get a notification that the card was declined. I called, but they were closed. Monday morning I called and was speaking with a customer service person, who told me the fridge was sold out. Before calling Lowe's I called synchrony bank who finances Lowe's store card. And I had plenty of credit with them to purchase any fridge I wanted. I had dimension issues. So we looked at several different ones. We were halfway through the checkout process. He had my name? number etc. After 47 minutes on the phone, we get disconnected. I felt sure he'd call me back. That didn't happen. So Lowe's and are no more. My daughter and family are coming in September, so I need to quit my cryin' and start my search again. read more

Edit: After speaking to corporate, this is absolutely on the store itself. Not surprising. Last time I was here, the cashier rang up the entire order of the person in front of me, and charged it to my card after they left. But mistakes happen, so not even that set me off like this. Absolutely ridiculous experience this evening. I signed up for Yelp just to go full Karen on this store. I had been in last night, and had taken photos of several flooring items and prices, as I'm doing renovations. Some were clearances, and the employee working told me that clearance items stay that price until sold out, so I chose a few- just in case someone beats me to one choice. Spent last night doing full work-ups on supplies needed if using each type of flooring, including visiting the Lowe's website to see their pricing (all slightly higher, but still on sale below retail). Today, I go in and the tags had been removed. I asked the employee in the flooring area, and he said that if it is in stock, it is still as accurate as it was last night. I spent over an hour collecting everything based on the one I selected, and as expected, the flooring rang up at retail price. This would've just been inconvenient, but the cashier was very kind, explaining that it should be the same as the photos I showed her of their wall, so she would find out. FIRST, the person she spoke to explained that the price I had was correct for the square foot, and that the price that came up was the total cost for each 6"x24" piece. Neither could understand why that was ridiculous. Nevermind that the tag I had said price per sq foot AND price per piece, because well- duh. The cashier was kind about it, saying she wasn't good at math, and the other person was just smug and not understanding. SECOND, the next person we spoke to asked if I was in the right store, and hadn't taken the photos at another store. I told him I was positive, and that it is clearly the same store, so he went to go look into it. THIRD, another woman, manager likely, came up and also did the 'square foot vs item' spiel. Again, I explained the math, and showed the photos. And they all stated that if it was clearanced last night, it still would be, insinuating that I was wrong. Maybe I Photoshopped the photos and did the pages upon pages of calculations all for effect, just for a discount? I don't know. But she looked up the item and stated she had no record of a price change, and she couldn't sell it for the price I had because there was no 'evidence'. It was SO beyond insulting at this point. She stated that the computer says it IS a clearance item, and that that was the clearance price. When I told her that that is retail price, she just said "Well, that's on corporate. I don't see any proof that it was ever what your photos show." I told her that there was clearly an employee that physically removed the tags between closing and today, so obviously someone knows. "Well they would've been in this morning, not NOW." Which, to me, has no bearing on anything when I'm being treated as some lunatic that makes counterfeit documentation for a bargain. They all walk away, and the kind cashier apologizes. I said I'll go with one of the other items I've worked up, and put all of this stuff back. She states that she would be upset as well. I go to the back of the store for some laminate, floating flooring, which I see has been marked up over 600% since last night. That's even more than the corporate website sells it for. I didn't want to do all of this again, so I just took my original cart of items and checked out. Although I didn't want to give them my money anymore, I didn't want to reinvest all of the time I had spent. This is insane. I don't know if Lowe's is banking on sucking up incoming stimulus checks, or what they're thinking to go through and refuse to honor, or even admit to changing so many of their prices. I spoke to a contractor about it who agreed that it was good reason to be upset, but that it's also why they NEVER shop at Lowe's themselves. Lesson learned. We went to this Lowe's in Apple Valley California, on Bear Valley Bl. They decided to put their Christmas Tree lot close to the front of the store, utilizing quite a few Disabled spaces. It's bad enough this store has less than a handful of motorized carts. Now they're putting the Christmas trees in the Disabled area. You don't know how hard it is, until you're disabled yourself. I hope the people in charge never have to find out.. I am positive this is illegal.. Complaints were made. The woman in charge said to just utilize the other disabled spots. Nice. read more

What a waste of time. This store had a clearance on porcelain tile and we loaded up about 45 boxes of flooring only to be told by the cashier and management that the price was actually not correct. The manager and clerk were talking between themselves and were turning their heads because obviously they didn't want to honor the price. I feel like due to the severe discount on the item, the manager or employees decided they would rather keep the item for themselves. We were very disappointed being that we spend $1000+ every week at this location for a construction of a home. If you value your time please skip Lowes, I called customer service and they are also unwilling to help. I purchased a dishwasher from your store and I also purchased an extended three-year warranty. I have had numerous problems with the dishwasher and have used the extended warranty numerous times. More waiting... finally have it home. Half of the employees in the store either were not wearing any masks or had them below their noses. It is Thursday at 6:00pm and I cannot find anybody out on the floor. I spoke with a couple customers doing like I am, and that's walking up and down every single aisle looking for something. Thankfully I'm just looking for a couple of Pan Phillips screws to finish a project and they don't even have the size I need. This is really sad. I feel bad for any employees that actually do work here. Not sure Code 50 is but I've heard it over the loudspeaker four times in the last 5 minutes, and they're asking for any associate now. I went to the store Sunday morning 6/28/2020 to pick up at 7:45 they wouldn't answer the phone, two calls for a total of 6 1/2 minutes. I asked the two guys setting up barbecue grills for assistance. They assisted by telling me the desk must be busy. So I called the Lowe's 800 number to cancel, Sunday and Monday I gave up after 10 minutes on hold, today I persevered for 29 minutes and was finally able to cancel.
