WOW!! My wife and I went into Lowe's in Spanish Fork to purchase an above range microwave. We weren't there to look. We were there to BUY. We waited at the appliance area for a bit after looking at models and finally a clerk comes in. He goes and sits (he was actually in a wheelchair) at the appliance desk. I ask him, is there someone that can help us with a microwave? He says he can and follows me over to the aisle. He asks if I had one picked out. I tell him I have questions first. I ask my first question and look back at him and he's looking at his phone. I repeat the question and he answers me while looking at his phone. I ask the next question and he is still on his phone. Had a pretty bad experience. Last I checked, we're in America where we speak English. It's super frustrating when you ask for help and the store employee can't speak English. If they can't speak the language, they shouldn't be working here. read more

First off, I want to say everyone that I dealt with at this store was very helpful and went out of their way to help. Unfortunately we waited for a fridge for over a month and half. We finally cancelled because somewhere else could not only get it to us in 2 day, but also deliver it and take the old one away. We were told Lowe's would deliver within 75 miles but that also was not the case. It was just not a good experience at all, other than employees that were trying so hard to make it work. read more

I walked into Lowe's three times and I couldn't get any help to find something. I walked by 4 associates and not one asked if I needed any help. The location is convenient and the lines are never long. I can usually find someone to help when I need. However, I have been super disappointed in the flooring department. We scheduled a measure and install, and ordered the flooring and suggested underlayment. Our installers arrived and let us know that the wrong underlayment had been chosen by the flooring department, and had to charge new underlayment to our card. They then had pulled up nearly all of the flooring before they noticed a drain that was visible before the removal. It had been missed during the measurement, and our installers informed us that they would be unable to install the flooring we had ordered in that location. They installed the flooring up to that drain, and let us know we would need to install the rest on our own and get a refund for labor, or choose a different flooring that they would come to install a few weeks later. It was a rental property, so we needed the flooring done ASAP, so we chose to finish installing it ourselves. It took two days, and purchasing several tools to complete the project on our own, but we were glad to have it done. I called the following Monday to discuss the refund of the incorrect underlayment and labor charges, and was sent on a wild goose chase of different numbers to call to get it fixed. We were ultimately told by Carla in flooring that she would be the one to process the refund. We have called half a dozen times, with no refund, and at this point I have given up on trying. Definitely will not go through their install program again. read more

I stopped in to find an item before I pulled the trigger on buying something on Amazon, and waiting the 48 hours to receive the item at my doorstep. I'm sad to report that three different employees miss direct me all throughout the stores to find out, they don't have the item. This is one of the reasons that the people purchase online do you know what they're getting what the cost is and they can find it immediately. When the reason I'm prompted to go into, the store is to be able to tap into expertise and knowledge with a customer service agent. I picked up a large Display Shed from their Spanish Fork store. Their employees; Mark Warner, together with Marty and Kelvin, the magicians on the fork lifts; helped me load that shed onto a trailer for transport. In fact . . . they helped me load it twice - due to a lack of foresight on my part. Without their assistance this old man would still probably be camped out on their parking lot trying to figure out how to get the job done. Those three guys are definitely positive assets for Lowe's. They were very helpful, enjoyable to interact with and readily willing to go above and beyond the generally miserable level of Customer Service so often encountered in today's retail world. Their example could well be used in training others to properly serve patrons so as to improve and promote the "Customer Service" image. Went to go buy vinyl flooring. I was obviously struggling through the aisles with a 12 foot long roll on a cart. No one was at the registers so I stopped an employee to ask. He told me to go to self checkout and was nice enough to maneuver the cart there. After helping me he "whispered" to the other employee that "these customers have been so (didn't catch the adjective), it's like f-ing childcare" So I drove home crying with a vinyl roll hanging out of my trunk (they couldn't cut two feet off the end) read more

We purchased a dishwasher from Lowe's and from purchase to delivery has been a disaster. When we tried to use the lowes card it took them an hour to process the payment. They changed my delivery time and won't let me change it. I've been given the run around for who to call and talk to. Nobody cares and nobody cares to fix the problems. read more

Wish I could give negative stars to Spanish Fork Lowes. Bought a $24 lawn chair, had it for 10 days, family member sat in it and the whole back of the chair snapped! He could have been hurt. Took the chair back to the store and the older lady at customer service commented on how bad it was, took our receipt and disappeared into a back room, came back and told us there is a WEIGHT LIMIT on the chair. She then had the balls to ask how much the family member weighed!! Are you kidding me?!?! That's what she is concerned about? I couldn't believe it. We told her he was well below the weight limit. She said that the chairs were now on sale and we would be money ahead if we just swapped out the chair. Otherwise we would only get back $17 because of the new price. I said that doesn't seem right? We have our receipt, it wasn't even a month since we bought the chair and she said that was the Lowes return policy. I didn't see that posted anywhere on the return policy that is giant on the wall. I told her I wanted to talk to the manager. She disappeared and came back and scanned the receipt and WOW guess what....we did get all of our money back. She was full of crap on the return policy. I understand if we don't have our receipt or it's been months, then yes, give us the lower price, but we did have a receipt and it had only been 3 weeks. I was actually planning on buying 4 more chairs last night, but now I will never return to Lowes after the way we were questioned and treated. Awful experience. We will be shopping at The Home Depot or ACE or anywhere else from now on. read more

I have gone there allot the past couple years because of the convenience. But I went to go return something that I bought a couple years ago, and when I was cleaning out my trailer, found and wanted to to return it, I was under the assumption that if you pay with cash you receive cash back with a return (just like if you were to pay with card it would go back to the card you purchased with. Well the "head" cashier in returns Ashley was going to give me lowes credit, but I asked if I could get cash instead and with no explanation she said "Nope!" And then began to chuckle under her breathe. So that will be the last time I go there. And I'll definitely take the few extra minutes and miles to go to Provo Home Depot. We ordered a refrigerator from Lowe's and it was delivered from Spanish Fork. We've never had problems with their delivery service until now. It was delivered yesterday, however one of the crew who was going to help set it up in our home had a back issue. I 100% understood and didn't expect them to fulfill the delivery in that moment. The other guy left me with his phone number and told me to contact him later that day to figure out when they could return with someone else to help set it up. They placed the refrigerator in our garage and left. I never heard back and after contacting the store manager, found out they should have taken the refrigerator with them when they left and that he'd be sending someone that evening to set it up, which never happened. This morning I contacted the store manager again and he was understandably frustrated by the delivery team and informed me they'd send someone out immediately to set it up in my home and no one ever showed up after we waited for hours. We ended up having to find access to a large dolly and bring it inside ourselves which was very difficult. I'm very frustrated because we have been without a fridge for 4 days in our new home. Having 3 young children and trying to manage without a refrigerator has been extremely difficult and has given us such a bad experience. I hope this review makes others aware that this is a possibility and you can potentially be ghosted when a service isn't fulfilled. read more

I attempted to return some air filters with one of Lowe's customer service representatives. Being that she was new, she called night manager Justin to assist her with the return. Justin arrives and I kindly greet him. After some time observing that he is stumped on how to assist with my request of having my refund applied to my Lowe's credit card, I tell him that I'm a frequent customer and that all that had to be done to finalize the return was to press the "Lowe's CC" key. He looked at me with a stern face and told me "We don't have to do anything". Out of shock to what I just heard, I reminded him that I am the customer and that he should treat me as such. He argued with me for some time and asked me to leave without returning my filters. Needless to say, I will no longer be doing business with Lowe's. It's a shame for them since I have done several hundred thousand dollars in transactions over the last five years. Way to go Justin, had you been courteous and respectful, I could have gone throughout my day as a happy customer and you could have been a contribution to such. Best! read more
