Lowbrau in Midtown Sacramento is straight-up a vibe. Parking can be a bit of a challenge depending on the time of day, but I've never had to park more than a couple of blocks away--totally manageable. The crowd is one of my favorite parts. It's a mix of ages and personalities, which gives the place a really welcoming, energetic feel. Add in a solid beer selection, and it's easy to settle in and stay awhile. We ordered a variety of sausages--Polish, spicy andouille, and bratwurst--and all of them delivered. Super flavorful, perfectly cooked, and exactly what you want with a cold beer. We also tried the LB burger and the spicy chicken sandwich, both of which were excellent and paired really well with the drinks. I'm not usually a big beer person, but even I found something I enjoyed--a light blonde that was crisp and easy to drink. Prices are reasonable for the quality and experience, and overall, it's just a fun place to hang out with friends. The only downside: it gets loud. Definitely not the spot for deep conversations, but perfect if you're there to eat, drink, and enjoy the energy with friends. I'll definitely be back.

Its a great spot for pregaming and bites. Few of our friends were bar hopping and stopped here for a drink. Theres no fee to enter however the hostess checked our ID. LowBrau is modern, with a rustic atmosphere and have a variety of craft beer selection. Place was big and had a lot of seating. I'm not a beer drinker so didn't order beer but wouldn't mind trying next time. Tonight we all order old fashioned & wild turkey whisky shot! Tables were moved as the DJ was getting ready to set up for the night. We didn't stay long enough to e what genre of music was played. Next time for sure.

I have been enjoying LowBrau on and off again for years now. I stopped in recently and of course there was a lively event such as a pub crawl going on. I feel like LowBrau often has events or festivities happening which is pretty cool. I enjoy the drinks, food and ambiance of this bar in the Lavender District. The servers are attentive and kind. They treat their customers right. If you are looking for a good time, check out LowBrau.

Came here Sunday evening and they were on the quieter side. We placed an order on the counter and seated ourselves. The place is pretty big. We ordered Bavarian pretzel, popcorn chicken and chicken sandwich. Food came out in a timely manner. The sandwich was crispy and juicy. It got a bit messy so be careful =P. Pretzel was soft in the inside. Popcorn chicken was good but nothing special about it. Self serve water station.

LowBrau is a staple for a night out. Depending on when you go you'll get a different experience. Some nights they have house music, electric music, pop music, etc.. Depending on the dj and the night you may get a lot of people dancing or it might feel kinda dead. Their themed dance nights are so fun and I think when they are busier. Motown Monday gets very very packed but the music is made for dancing and the energy is great for meeting new people. I've enjoyed all the drinks I've gotten here but my go tos are their ciders and the bees knees cocktail. The only food I've had here is their fries which are tasty so I'll have to check out the food menu sometime. Definitely come check it out on your next night out or if you wanna sit on the patio during the next nice weather day with your friends. The patio is also dog friendly and the location is so convenient.

Surprisingly I've never left a review for lowbrau despite being there 30+ times for late night weekends, which is always a really fun time & such a social atmosphere, with all the picnic style tables, DJ's and great layout!!! Their sausages are fabulous & flavorful. I love the spicy andouille the best, and with the toppings (caramelized onion, jalapeño, hot chilis). They have this new Hazy IPA beer by Original Pattern called Not velvet but cashmere & it was soooooo good! Recommended by the bartender, we were highly impressed. She was also so sweet & all the workers were great & attentive. Such a dog spot, which we adore :) Really fun to come by and sit outside while the Saturday midtown farmers market is happening, a great place to people watch and hear live music on the street! Love you lowbrau!

The food has been mid for awhile. Since they stopped a rotation of sausages the menu has remained pretty stale. Every once in awhile you can come across the nicer happy hour or brunch special. Lowbrau is for the beers and the atmosphere.

Lowbrau is a staple for the girls night out. The music is always hitting, drinks are always great, and vibes are always on point. The cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced. The cider is also top notch. I recommended the white linen cocktail or Nitty Smile cider. No matter what, you will enjoy the night at Lowbrau!

Cobb salad with two sausages added. Excellent!

I have been here a handful of times...but I had to take a minute to post a review about the completely amazing service we received yesterday. We walked in around 6:15pm - unfortunately happy hour just ended. Our bartender Lynsey was the most welcoming and gave us food and drink menus. She was very efficient in making the drinks as well. Her attention to detail was insane. She noticed we were ordering a chicken sandwich to share so she asked if we wanted it cut in half, then she also offered us Waters before we took our drinks to go find a table to sit down. She just had so many good vibes and made the experience a great one. I ordered the Wifey cocktail which was pure deliciousness and bf ordered a Paloma which he thought was great too. Our hot chicken sandwich was quite tasty, but messy - definitely glad they brought us forks and extra napkins. The duck fat fries were so good and their house made ranch - out of this world. I liked the time we went too and it wasn't too crowded inside. I had been a few times before and have enjoyed drinks on the patio, a friend's birthday dinner, and their nightlife scene. All positive experiences. Bathrooms aren't bad either. Will definitely recommend this place to others and take visiting friends here. Thank you LowBrau!

Great experience here and sooooo many dogs. We all love dogs in my group so we enjoyed that. If dogs are not for you you can still find a spot away from dogs but they will still very much be there lol. We ordered at the bar, both food and drinks. Then you sit at any table with your number. Our food and drinks were made fairly quickly. Big note: there are signs but we did not see them, there is an automatic 15% gratuity added to the tab, but it still asks for a tip when you pay so we added a normal amount of tip but ended up tipping a decent amount lol but that was on us, we were not there to read it was to have a good time lol Tables are communal and we were told if people are hogging the tables you can have them to move over lol especially after the farmers market they can put all their bags on the table so the bartender literally said to ask people to move their stuff if needed. I ordered a Caesar salad and it was definitely different in a good way. I would 100% order it again. We ordered the duck fat fries...no idea why we got 2 because literally NONE of us finished our food but they were delicious. Had to take a walk after this place lol A breakfast burrito was ordered was good, they took it home with them. Eggs Benedict was good but seems it was overcooked or left under the heat lamps or something. The hashbrowns were a no for her. But overall it was a great experience and we would go back.

I came in with a few friends and we order two shooters around 12.30AM. The menu clearly says it $10 for each item we ordered. We were charge $11 each. On their wall, they have a sign saying they would automatically charge 15% to ALL tabs. We understand that (it's late, ppl forget to tip). However, my friends and I noticed the extra dollar charge immediately, it's not the idea that they didn't stick to what they were advertising, it's the fact that the first time we asked them, they "comp" one drink out of two. We went back and order the same thing and clearly say our first bartender trying to tell our second bartender how to approach us when the same mistake was made. He said "yeah so after 9pm, we charge $1 more".... Make it make sense. We're the same customers, ordering the same exact thing... We came in after 9pm, you tried to upcharge us (probably thinking people are too drunk to understand) by this time. We had just started our late night and it wasn't the idea of not being able to afford $1 more but it's the fact that this business thinks, and believes, that it's ethical to charge their customers more based on their intoxication. Music and cleanliness was great but the service is completely dishonest. Management needs a reality check. Not all is us are hammered.

Low Brau's brunch and happy hour is so underrated! The Standard at Brunch was only $12 for two eggs, a thick housemade sausage, thick toast with maple bacon jam *drools*, and extra crispy hash browns. Sheesh, this was a steal for the portions they were dishing out. The morning cocktails cost more than the meal itself, but definitely worth it for this breakfast. At Happy Hour, the German beers are $5 and the corn dogs with curry ketchup are a must! The fries were overcooked for me because I'm one of those people who like semi-soggy fries. For the quality and price, I really cannot complain. Excellent for any occasion.

The fries were actually pretty good, an above average standard French fry with salt. The burger however was phenomenal. There was an amazing crust on the outside reminiscent of a backyard bbq. There was ample bacon, lettuce, cheese and sauce to make it a balanced bite. The bun was high end brioche style, they really went all out on quality of ingredients. When we first walked up, the place was super busy with the outdoor seating area and queue full. There were still members of our group that were on their way, so we didn't mind waiting in line. They had kids menus available to look at, and even thought the stack for regular menus was out, some people in line were kind enough to hand us theirs when they were done. I stared at the menu the whole time I was in line. I think I was just hungry and the strong barbecue smell in the restaurant was making me crave everything. I eventually landed on a barbecue burger and decided to sub the fries with collard greens to be somewhat "healthy," and also because my husband was getting fries. What's his is mine. Ordering at the register was quick. They had a nonalcoholic frozen drink option that I was tempted to get since I don't drink. I'd recommend giving it a try if you don't mind parting with $10. I think it was $2 extra dollars to get a similar drink with alcohol too. Also, there is a separate line for ordering beer, so if you have a decent-sized group like we did, maybe consider splitting up to grab a table and join the beer line. We lucked out with one of the longer tables next to the bathrooms. Side note: they have hand-washing stations separate from the area with the toilets, so super clutch if you just need to clean up before you start touching all your food. Our orders seemed to come out as they were ready, and overall maybe 15-20 minutes, which is decent considering how packed the place was. My burger was delicious. Meat was on the medium-well side, but I don't mind a little more cook as long as it's still juicy, which was the case. Cheese was melted, onion rings were crisp, bun wasn't soggy, and there was a generous bed of jalapeños under the patty. It wasn't overly spicy or anything, but it did provide a nice noticeable difference in texture. The collard greens, I would say right now, are pretty high on my list of collard greens I've had in my life, and I order them if I ever see them on any menu since it's not often I find them. It was a decent amount, but I wished there was double once I was done. As we were finishing our food, some nice staff members were quick to come clean up our dishes. We were so satisfied with our meal and drinks that we almost forgot we needed to catch an escape room!

The double smash burger I had was excellent. The bun they use is awesome and they charred the patty perfectly. It tasted way better than Fleming's Prime Steakhouse burger I had last week, that's for sure. The thick steak-cut fries are awesome, too. Over salted but nothing a cold beer can't cut through. Highly recommend their smash burger.

If it wasn't for this "mission," there's a good chance I wouldn't have wandered in. I LOVE Sutter Street, but honestly I don't live nearby and don't have many reasons to come here. That said, I'm thankful for the mission and glad I dropped by. It's a super cute place and the bartender had a nice relaxed chill vibe to her. This is where I'd normally drop her name and give her kudos - but I didn't get her name. I thought her name would be on the receipt, but it wasn't! I assume her name isn't "Shift Night N" anyway, which would be weird - but that's what is listed for "server". Anyway... the burger... I liked it. I liked it a lot. I was not asked how I wanted it cooked (not expected or demanded by me) - but an observation that I toss in for comparison purposes. It was cooked to a solid medium, which is fine with me. Caramelized onions were standard - nice - but the tomato and lettuce were listed as 'optional' - and the bartender (Shift Night N) asked me if I wanted them. I opted in. The bun was above average - definitely a notch above the typical mass-produced buns often used elsewhere. I opted for sweet potato fries. They had good flavor. Personal preference-wise... I would have liked them to be cooked a smidge more. If/when I come back, I'll probably ask them to be crispy-er. Overall, thumbs up! I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try other things on the menu. #burgers
