I had my 31st birthday party here. Bottle Server Girl Victoria helped me through the process and made it so smooth. Thank you so much for the fun night. I had too much fun!

Hi, I wanted to share some feedback about my recent visit during happy hour. I came in around 3 PM and ordered a fishbowl drink and fries, and my bill came out to $53.95. The biggest concern was the drink -- it was extremely watered down and tasted like juice with barely any alcohol. I've visited before and had a much better experience, so this was disappointing and didn't feel worth the price at all. I'm not a heavy drinker, so for me to notice how weak it was is a concern. I'm sharing this because I hope consistency can be improved, especially during happy hour. Right now, based on this visit, I wouldn't return, which is unfortunate given my past experience. Thank you for your time.

Friendly staff, food and drinks were great. Lots of TVs on with different sports. Highly recommend.

DJ Ray dropped every slapper like he knew my trap queen soul personally. He got 15 Loraxes to stay on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. The bottle servers were absolute baddies, giving the place all the extra sparkle. Shout-out to Maxx Steele--come through and be a 304 for a block party here, we need your energy! Already planning my next visit in a cuter outfit, because Barwest really does not play.

We frequently visit this spot to watch Niners and Warriors games. They offer breakfast and lunch. The bartenders and servers are enjoyable. There are many TVs and a large screen.

I visited Bar West recently and had an overall great experience! We arrived around 1:30 PM, just in time for their bottomless mimosas deal for $14 until 2 PM--a fantastic bargain. After about three mimosas, I was feeling a little tipsy, so they definitely get the job done! Later, I ordered a few mixed drinks and shots, which were equally enjoyable and well-made. For food, I tried the chicken tenders and nachos. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and tender inside--and came with a side of fries. My friend had the chicken club sandwich and thought it was delicious. However, the nachos were a mixed bag. Two of my friends ordered them and were surprised by the portion size, which is big enough to share. While the flavors were good, the toppings felt haphazardly thrown on top, with not enough cheese evenly distributed. They had to request extra cheese, and for an additional $4 the meat was a bit cold and chewy. It would've been better if the nachos were better presented or if some of the toppings were served on the side. Though I did not get to try their entire brunch menu. I would like to come back and give that a go! Another friend ordered sliders, but unfortunately, they didn't come with fries. When they ordered fries separately, the serving size was very generous--easily sharable. Unfortunately I didn't get to snap a photo of every dish but will try to get some more in next time. We visited on a game day, and the atmosphere was lively but not too crowded until about 3:30 PM. they have tv's everywhere so you're not missing out on anything! I also learned that the venue turns into a nightclub later in the evening, which I didn't get to experience yet. The service was excellent, with attentive staff checking in regularly. While the food was enjoyable but not amazing (I'd rate it 3/5), the overall experience--thanks to the drinks, service, and ambiance--deserves a solid 4/5 stars. I had a fun time and I would definitely return!

We stopped by here to use a Groupon offer and we loved it! The place is a dream location to watch sports and have a drink. TV's everywhere, playing multiple games from different sports. The craft burgers were huge and absolutely delicious. Fries were nice and crisp. The waitress/bartender was a sweetheart. She was patiently explained how to use the Groupon and did an excellent job with drink recommendations. We went as a family in the early evening but looks like a great place to hang out with friends for drinks!

Thank you Zaria, and David (last night), you both were great! BUT, the food the 2nd night wasn't nearly as good. Chicken on my chicken sandwich was cold. Almost no fries came with it. Almost the opposite experience tonight vs last night as far as the food goes. But again, Zaria and David were great servers, not their fault. Food though - big difference from 1 night to the next.

It's that mix of a lively sports bar with really good Italian food, all inside a historic space filled with sports memorabilia. Walking in feels like stepping back in time with all the vintage photos everywhere. Knowing Joe Marty, a former professional baseball player, originally opened his bar here back in 1938 and seeing how they've renovated it without losing that character makes it feel like a really special piece of the city. One of my favorite moments was when my husband ordered a Manhattan and the bartender came over and poured it tableside. It turned into this whole little production and the table next to us immediately ordered one too, which was kind of fun to watch. The food held up just as well. My teen had the spaghetti with marinara and meatballs on the side and finished the entire plate, which says everything. I told our waiter Sean to surprise me and he brought out the lobster ravioli and I was not mad about that at all. It was so good. My husband ordered the carbonara with shrimp and that was also a hit. The bread came out warm and fresh, but just a heads up the dipping sauce was pretty spicy. Our palates was definitely feeling it, so we ended up switching to balsamic and olive oil instead. Even the restrooms had things to look at, including old Land Park newspapers, which just adds to how much character this place has. Helpful tip: If you're not sure what to order, let your server guide you. Ours nailed it. I had actually been here years ago before the renovations, so coming back and seeing it now was really special. It still has that history, just updated in the best way.

There aren't many bars around that combine drinks with classic arcade games, so it's refreshing to have a place where you can do both in one spot. They have a great variety of games to choose from--everything from classic fighting games and Pac-Man to Guitar Hero and pinball. I also really love the extras like the photo booth and air hockey, which add to the fun and make it easy to spend more time there with friends. It's strictly 21+ (not a bar and grill situation), which is honestly a plus--no kids running around. You do have to head down a set of stairs to get inside, so just be mindful if you're wearing heels. There's also a security check at the entrance where they verify IDs before letting you in. The place is almost always packed, especially on weekends. Because of that, I usually don't stay too long when it's crowded since it can start to feel a bit claustrophobic. Drinks are reasonably priced and taste fine--no real complaints there--but when it's busy, you definitely have to squeeze your way in to catch a bartender's attention. I've never had a bad experience here when going with friends, and it's generally a fun time in a group. That said, I'm not sure how enjoyable it would be if you were solo drinking, as the vibe really leans toward social, high-energy hangouts. Still, a fun spot with a cool concept that's worth checking out.
