THE TEXT MY BF SENT TO ME ABOUT THIS BUSINESS, THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE (with his consent): "I found an AV guy off angieslist to drill through a fireblock in moms room so I could hide the tv cables behind the wall. He quoted me $120 and was supposed to show up today at 4:30p. At 5 I called him and he ignored my call so I told him don't bother. At like 5:30 I found a random guy on yelp and asked him and he said he wasn't available until next week. I said that's fine but asked if he can come after 5 because I have work. He asked where I lived and I said south Manteca and he said he lived there too and asked if he can just come tonight on his way home. I said sure. He said he charges about $80 for in wall drilling. He showed up an hour ago and began going through the wall only to discover that there was no fireblock. The doorbell was setting off a false reading on my studfinder. He routes the cables through the wall easily and covers the holes and puts the tv back up. I ask him how much and he says I don't gotta pay him cause he didn't technically have to do the job I hired him for. Plus he lives down the street and didn't have to spend any gas money. He was hella nice. Gave me his business card and just asked that I leave his company a Yelp review. Man. He made me feel so much better about the world. What a nice dude." There is no better testimonial than an unsolicited, private review. read more

Anthony, You must forget that I am on the HOA Board and I see every invoice and the board approved all LVE invoices. Per our property manager: - "Are you asking me if Anthony is telling the truth in his reply? He is not speaking truthfully . . ." - "All the invoices to Low Volt Experts have been paid in full and there are no outstanding balances due for any work performed . . ." - "If he was withholding the association's money due to lack of payment on previous work, why would he tell us that an employee stole the projector after he purchased it?" You sir, are a very poor story teller. read more

Yelp listing shows their service area is only Folsom to Cameron Park, but they were definitely happy to do my job in Placerville! Anthony did a great job installing my Starlink dish, even helped me connect it to my existing wifi system and improve the wifi coverage. He was very careful about having a good-looking installation with as little wire showing inside the house as possible (compare that to the average "cable guy" who's willing to drill a hole through your wall anywhere it's convenient for him!). read more

I was extremely impressed with Low Volt Experts. My husband hired them through Amazon to install a TV and wall mount. They called to let me know exactly when they would be there. When I opened the door they were polite and courteous, clearly telling me exactly who They were, and proceeded to put on booties before they entered my home. They were extremely thorough, explained everything they were doing and why, and had the extra supplies in the truck that we needed for an optimal install. They could thoroughly explain why we needed certain equipment in a way that made perfect sense. They gave recommendations but allowed us to decide what works best for us. The end result is amazing, they left the house as clean or cleaner than when they got here. The TV works wonderfully and they were able to show me how it worked and give advice. They said numerous times to call them if we had any questions about operating the TV. They not only did the hardware installation, they could also help me operate the TV itself and answer my questions about the technology. I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors, friends, and family, and will be calling them again should I need installation in the future. Thanks again, guys!!! read more

Anthony is great! Very professional, super responsive and a great consultant to work with you to pick out the right equipment for you. He doesn't leave a job until everything is perfect. One of my speakers was defective out of the box and Anthony came back on his own time and didn't charge me to reinstall another speaker. Very rare in my opinion that someone wouldn't charge for the fix, as it was not his fault the equipment was faulty. He also hung a 75" tv for me above my fireplace and it looks great. Super clean!!!! Do yourself a favor and contact him for your tv and stereo needs. He won't disappoint. I'm going to have him expand my system outside and mount another tv for me outdoors in the near future. 5 Star Service and quality of work. Thanks a lot Anthony, Low Volt Expert is now my go to company for all my needs. read more

Anthony and his team did a great job installing the TV mount above the fireplace in my living room. They were super quick, professional and clean. The outcome was amazing. In addition, they are very honest and charged me a fair price. Definitely recommended. Hope to hire them again to install another tv mount on my bedroom pretty soon. read more

Low Volt Experts - Security Systems Near Me - Placerville, California

I had Low Voltage Experts out last week after getting a quote to mount a 65in tv in my mancave. They were responsive all the way through the process, gave me a great quote, showed up on time with all the materials, did a professional job (and gave me recommendations), cleaned up, and were gone without a hitch. Highly recommend Anthony and his team! read more

I couldn't recommend this company more. Not only was the owner super friendly but he was willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. Anthony and Jeremy did a great job of setting up 5 ceiling speakers for our house. They did everything from cutting the holes in the ceiling to running wires in the attic and wall. They even made sure everything was working and calibrated before they left. Thanks so much! read more

You won't be disappointed! These guys are legit. I am thoroughly impressed with the work they did installing three wall mounted TV's at my house including a special mantle mount that allows for our living room TV (65" OLED) to come down and over the fireplace as to be at our eye level. They did an awesome job! They go out of their way between their respectful and courteous service to centering and perfecting the level of every TV including making your TV perform at its optimum. And they even clean up after themselves. Their positive attitudes are uplifting and you will be impressed by their knowledge and education. We will be using them again in the near future to install our surround sound and ring flood light. Thanks again guys! read more

I hired an AV guy off AngiesList to put some wiring in my wall, but they no-showed. I called Anthony and his team at literally 5pm and he was at my place within the hour. I could tell from the moment he began his work that he was an expert. I have completed many DIY AV projects so I can tell a little bit of what's going on, and everything Anthony did was by the book, professional, and thorough. He didn't leave a single aspect of the job undone. Even better, his last minute emergency quote was lower than the other guys regular quote. I can't recommend him enough. Going forward, I can't imagine hiring anyone else to do my AV/Security wiring. 5 STARS! read more

This team has excellent technical skills and first rate people skills. These guys took on a home theater installation in my 40-year old home without batting any eye (as compared to two other companies, who snubbed me --- "too complicated", "we only work on newer homes"). Justin is not afraid to lie down flat in a hot attic, find a workaround, or handle an unforeseen problem on the fly. He has many years experience in home theater installations. They also install/upgrade computer networks. They can do some electrical work, too, as our installer has an electrician's license. (He keeps his mask on, too, which I appreciate.) Low Volt Experts made me a reasonable quote, and stuck to the figure even though the job was more challenging than they had expected it would be and took longer than they thought it would. The surround sound system works perfectly and looks good. I'll definitely hire these folks again soon for some other jobs. read more

It's rare to find somebody that you will call every single time in the future, but that is who these guys are. They handled my wiring needs quickly, helped clean up the mess that the homebuilder had made, and then offered great suggestions for the future. I am confident these guys will be part of my home improvement needs in the coming months. read more

Low Volt Experts - Security Systems Near Me - Placerville, California

I had two TVs mounted and some wires cleaned up. Justin did an exceptional job and was a very friendly guy

Anthony and his team provide excellent service. I am pleased with the result and will recommend him to friends and family. The security system I choose was a little too complex for my family. One thing I should have done before choosing a security system was ask Anthony of his recommendations. Instead I heard of good things of LTS and wanted the LTS system but didn't realize that it was a complicated system and not very user friendly if one does not take the time to learn the system. Again A+++ for Low Volt Expert's service but a C for LTS system. read more

Anthony is simply the best! He is professional and prompt. Great communication and fair pricing. His work is clean and his attention to detail is outstanding. Not enough good things to be said about him and his team. He installed a security system and did a TV install for my home. I wouldn't look anywhere else the next time I need something done. read more

Provided the best recommended cameras and didn't try to oversell. Professional installation. Always punctual. Even painted the cameras to match the house color. Highly recommend them. read more

A few months ago wanted to install cameras. Anthony came and we discussed what I wanted and he gave me his recommendations; I wanted 7 cameras. Well, it took more than 3 weeks to hear back from him when I sent him an email. After 1 month from the time he visited, he calls and starts asking me what I want????? Really? How I am supposed to contract with such a person who never kept notes on a potential project? read more

We needed our 65" TV mounted and Anthony worked with us and gave us different ways with different quotes on how to conceal/move the wires. They mounted our tv above our fireplace and they did a great, clean job. If I had to critique one thing it would be the communication (hence why I gave 4 stars and not 5). I understand he's a very busy man but I felt like at times I was chasing him and waiting on him to get back to me. I'm a planner and like to plan things out and have an appointment date and time ahead of time so that I can prepare. Other than that, Anthony was a pleasure to work with, really nice guy and would definitely give him another call if I needed anything else done that requires his expertise. read more

I had them install my new security camera system. Justin, the installer, had to climb thru the attic, and the roof. It was a hot day. I was expecting a "good" job but he did an outstanding job. He even gave me suggestions for camera placement. The installation price was very fair. My wife did not want any of the cables showing anywhere. Justin did a great job "hiding" the cables. Even the owner, Anthony, gave me great advice on the types of systems. Now, my neighbors are asking about the cameras and I will be recommending this company. read more

Anthony and his partner came over and mounted my big screen tv on the wall. Next, they had to mount 4 surround sound speakers on the 4 walls. They went into the attic and ran all the wires to hide them all. I just can't say enough about the job they did. All the wires are hidden that could be, it looks just wonderful. They setup my receiver and wrapped all the speaker wires neatly. I even asked them to fix an item in my shower, and they did that too, it was great! Thanks for all the hard work, I will definitely use and recommend them again. read more
