Our server was kind, but she seemed unfamiliar with the menu. She even agreed that the $23 crab cake appetizer was overpriced and appeared to be missing a crab cake. The crab cake itself was extremely salty and fried so hard that it left an unpleasant aftertaste. Later, the server brought out a second crab cake, which we assumed was the missing portion, but we were then charged an additional $16 for it. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was just okay at best. My steak was cooked correctly internally, but the outside was overly charred to the point that it affected the flavor. The broccolini was burnt and extremely salty, so we sent it back immediately. The potatoes were also overly salty, watery, and lacked the onion flavor described on the menu. Overall, the menu descriptions simply did not match the dishes that were brought to our table. I will say the espresso martini was honestly the best part of the evening. Also, the evening manager, whose name I believe was Kensley, did bring out a butter cake as an apology, which was appreciated. For a birthday celebration and the prices charged, the experience was disappointing overall.
