Earl was able to duplicate my 2011 Volvo xc90 ignition key way cheaper than the dealer. The dealer wanted $429+Tax just for an ignition key. My old key didn't work very well in the heat, the new keys work all the time. I called basically every locksmith in SoCal, even the ones that *said* they do Volvo keys on their website. But they all said that the Volvo dealer was the only one that could do it for this model. Earl was able to make a key and I didn't have to wait a month for a dealer appointment. I used Yelp to get several quotes for a key duplication for my car. I got quotes as cheap as 160, but he told me to call him for a quote. I gave him my car info and he says 180 is his best price for yelp customers. I told him I'm still waiting on other quotes and would get back to him. He gave me some good info and told me he could do 175 tomorrow and gives a warranty. I agreed and scheduled a time and place. He later messages me for the other quotes info which I send him.
