My friend and I went thrifting in the Worcester area and weren't familiar with any restaurants in the area. We went on yelp and were able to find this gem! As others have mentioned it is a pretty small place. When we arrived the owner cheerfully sat us down. She was incredibly sweet and attentive. She asked where we were from and made a little small talk without being overbearing. She thanked us several times for trying the restaurant which I thought was really sweet. I'd go back just based on the service. We ordered the "crab rangoon" as an appetizer. They were delicious, I especially loved the citrusy sauce it came with. I've wanted to try this place for years, only recently finding out it was a chain. Odd that there are two locations in Worcester but none in the Boston area. Having moved out to Westborough recently we decided to go now that we are a little closer. It's in an area that seemed a little sketchy but plenty of parking on the street. The place is small with only four tables. Our server/hottess (I'm guessing that she was the cook) was super cute, attentive and friendly. She would take orders, run in the back, be gone for several minutes and come out with a dish...which is why I think she was also the cook. Food was very tasty, and I love their meat subsitute options...such as the satays, and I had a the Cha Cha Tasty I think it was called which was like fried shrimp. The DH had the sesame seitan dish with broccoli and it was better than mine, and very tasty. The portions are very small, as we left feeling satisfied but not full, which is good because most restaurants the sizes are so huge that you overeat and then feel sickly afterwards. Also, the prices are very fair so it's in correlation to the portion sizes. We had two apps, and two entrees and it was only $25 I noticed that the Chandler street location has a slightly different menu and seems to have way more options including a General Gaus/Taos like dish that I wanted to try, and offered some Thai inpsired dishes and noodles, also Thai Iced Tea. But they were not open on Sunday when we went. So we are planning on going back to try the CHandler ST location soon. read more

The texture of the fried "chicken" was a little strange and I still don't exactly know what I ate but the flavor was great. I will be back in the future to sample other things on the menu. The bun bo hue had interesting flavor, depth, great fresh veggie toppings for texture, and just overall amazing take on a Vietnamese classic. I didn't miss the meat at all. We were driving on the mass pike 20 minutes before this place closed, and placed an order for pick up. When we arrived they hadn't realized they had sold out of the Rangoon earlier, I was just happy they were willing to make us veggie friendly food! This place is small. The bathroom is through the kitchen and so small I literally couldn't sit straight or my knees would go through the door. Much smaller than I expected, but clean and well taken care of. Our server was wonderful and caring...she took the time to meet us, find out where we were from, and discover why we came to her restaurant. When she found that I was not a vegan (my wife is), she kept telling me (in wonderful and good humored way), that I too should become a vegan. The food was wonderful. The chick'n drumstick was amazing, and the Earth's Curry I had was delicious. The chick'n...well you wouldn't have known it wasn't the real thing. September 2017. Came here to grab a bite with my vegan friends since haven't seen one friend in a real long time so this is was a great half way point. Very small restaurant which always means great spot to eat. I ordered the Heavens Curry which was very good with soy protein and veggies. Nice and healthy. Ate half so I could have more later. Portions were not big which was perfect. My friend Emily had Kung Pao which she enjoyed and said tasted just like it except for the meat part. Her boyfriend had the BBQ Noodle which he enjoyed. They both ate all of theirs. They've been to the other location in Worcester but decided to come here instead. I'm not a vegan but I would try again. Debated between curry or spring rolls. Pho is delicious and so is the coconut shake! Unfortunately, my poor low-carb eating boyfriend couldn't eat anything on the menu (soy, soy and more soy) and they ran out of mixed vegetables so he couldn't even get the veggie plate. We would have turned around right away when we realized we stepped into soy heaven but the lady was so cute, sweet and appreciative that she probably could have convinced us to eat soy even if we were allergic. Have been to the Loving Hut twice in the past month and both times the food was fresh, delicious & definitely worth talking about! The Aulac sweet & sour soup was a nice start & the even though it was not anywhere near a summer day, the summer rolls were light & refreshing. Finished off with the Joyful Lemongrass entree. Very disappointed. I typically eat at the Chandler street location, but since that location was closed on a Sunday I figured I would try the other location. Everyone in the eating area was bundled up because the dining area was freezing. Took over 30 minutes to get water. 90 minutes from time order was placed to when appetizer was received. Guest I was with got wrong entree entirely. My entree was burnt, brown rice was not cooked, and the entire thing tasted as if it was cooked with a million other items. Glad I got my curiosity out regarding what this location was like. I will never be back to this location. Will always be going to the other one. read more

Food was great! I'm giving it 4 stars because it's got great variety and it's the only restaurant of its kind in the area, but they need more staff & supplies. We went for the buffet (super cheap!) and it was great except they kept running out of plates, forks and food. The food replacement wasn't quick enough to keep up with the demand, so you had to fight for it if you wanted the highly sought after items. I love this place! If I could have the opportunity to eat any dish at this place everyday, I'd gladly become a vegan. Although I am not a vegan, I can truly say that I actually enjoy every bit of this meatless and non any by product dishes. I knew it was a vegan restaurant, but I did not know it was Asian theme. Overall, the food was good. We ordered their kung pao (which was pretty spicy and not sure if I tasted any vegan "chicken") and their broccoli eden which is basically broccoli and beef. The soy protein was actually pretty good. Both dish comes with a little plate of rice each. When the dishes first came out, I was surprised by the small portion with each being around $7. Other than that, great place. I love the location! It has a very light, and airy feel about the place, and the customer service is excellent. I just think that they should re do their menu, because I ordered the summer rolls assuming that I will have a total of four like it displayed in the picture. May I remind you, that in the menu they describe the ingredients in the summer roll, but not the amount you are purchasing. In business menues your job is to make sure that the display photo matches the actual appearance when you order and purchase your meal, this place does the complete opposite. the portions were small, and my veggie salad that looked delicious on the display menu came out looking like something that I would do at home. The veggie rice was really good with the vegan nuggets, but overall I would recommend this place to not leave their customers high and dry with the visual stimulation that they are getting something that they're not. Nice presentation, skilled cooks, and friendly staff overall. Also a quiet, clean atmosphere. They cooked the vegetables properly - so that they still had color and texture - and the fake meat actually had some flavor to it. I got the yellow curry and it was satisfying. They also make very flavorful dipping sauces with delicious fruit instead of sugar. I don't think there was any sugar in the food at all. I was a vegetarian for over a decade and was a vegetarian cook and teacher for several years. This is the kind of place I am happy to find because you can at least get a decent meal there. Too much soy, though, and it's mostly white starch. The buffet wasn't great. It looks like a religious sect owns the place but maybe it's interesting that there are reading materials and videos to check out. The sugar-free approach alone is worth checking out. read more

Do not, do not go to this location on. Go to the one on chandler street! The waiter made me and my friend very uncomfortable, he kept making weird comments about our looks. They were out of everything we tried to order. He said they were out if noodles so my friend asked for rice than aNd he uncharged for the rice when they were the reason we had to get rice. Bring the check and I notice the prices are all different , I said to him excuse me but these prices are different from the menu and he said " there must be a typo on the menu". I responded with well it's your menu and I'm paying what's on the menu and he got angry and walked away to change the check. I paid and left, got home looked back at the menu again and realized he raised every single item price. Scammers, raising prices so he had more money to pocket. This place is terrible. read more

Decent food, but instead of being creative they tried there hardest to make it taste like the equivalent meat dish. Thai iced tea I had to ask for sugar to get it to taste good. The smallest portions we have ever received in a restaurant. Food was good but such tiny potions that we were shocked. When you order summer rolls or fresh rolls, you're supposed to receive two rolls. You get ONE ROLL CUT IN HALF. Beware that they charge you two dollars for brown rice. Ridiculous.
