Always dependable and so good! The lunch/dinner combos are enough for 2-3 meals! Food is always hot and delicious. Can't go wrong.

Juicey spare rips ,the batter on the chicken fingers was light and crispy over all everything was good .the price has definitely gone up and portions abit smaller but so far the money hasn't been a waste to enjoy good food . read more

I ordered Shrimp with Broccoli and it didn't come with white rice. They charged $3.80 + tax for a pint of white rice. It would be fine if the food was edible. The shrimp was spoiled, the broccoli was mushy, the sauce was terrible. I took one bite and had to throw everything in the garbage. I would rather drive 4 more hours with an empty stomach than eat their food. I eat Chinese take out all the time. This is the worst. Please don't waste your money here. read more

Chef Ho, Worcester, Massachusetts I am never disappointed at Chef Ho, but I ordered the same thing almost every time. I should Branch out, at least for the good of the group. This is a combo special, it's served all day. Spicy beef teriyaki. Comes with pkf, (or substituted for $1.00 with lo mein) spicy beef teriyaki with onions, peppers, and sneaky little chillis and an order of crab Rangoon. Not a lot of filling, but good. I also ordered boneless spareribs. They have the good duck sauce!! Menu included in pictures. There are tables available, but it is more of a take-out or delivery restaurant read more

Sesame chicken had no chicken, lo mein tasted like boiled cardboard, and the fried rice was soaked in oil that should've retired years ago. Zero seasoning, zero effort. Never again. My taste buds are confused and probably will start therapy after this. read more

Good as always! Can't go wrong with grabbing a quick bite from here. The food is delicious and the service is quick

this is the best Chinese food spot in the city. we've been coming since they opened it's always been good food

Food today was poor quality,50/50 .I think they lost or let go good kitchen help cooks ECT .Their trying too keep it going on 3 people, the older couple and a sister maybe? Just isn't working out too their benefit? I think and hope they do better in future? Was once one of the best places too go too ,still could be if they get couple more helpers!!! read more

This place is a hit or miss. Food is never consistent. Place could use a good cleaning. Service is okay- one of the ladies who answers the phone or takes orders in the place is always rude. read more

Love chef Ho , Got delivery last night was suppose to be 20 minutes got it in 10 minutes, thank you Chef Ho !!!! Was hot 7 Yummy !!!!!!!!!! I recommend Chef Ho 100% !!!!!!!! Thank's Rita Bridges read more

I am not including a picture of the trash where the food went after one bite. Kung po chicken extra spicy. The only taste was salt. A lot of salt. I should have kept it in case the driveway had ice. read more

Ordered on the recommendation of a few guys at work who order out on a regular basis. I can't really say anything positive about the food. The pork fried rice was fine. Chicken fingers seemed ok. But nothing tasted good enough where I would want to eat it or order it again. Spare ribs were pretty weak and bordered on being undercooked. Chewy and rubbery. Beef teriyaki didn't have much flavor. Won't be ordering again. Sorry Chef Ho, you've been chopped. read more

HORRIBLE PLACE- DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!! My job wanted to order some Chinese food for lunch. We had called and placed the order. We waited 45 mins to call them because there was no delivery at the office. Come to find out the Lady on the phone started yelling and stating that she had to call and confirm dollar amount for the food. We let her know that we had the cash and that wouldn't be needed. Called the place, the lady said the food wasn't even started!!! What kind of restaurant is this, do you want business or not. THIS PLACE USED TO BE GOOD, WHAT HAPPENED?!? DON'T GO HERE AT ALL!!! read more

I place the same order every other Saturday. A large rice and small beef teriyaki. I ask for about half a dozen packets of soy sauce, I know it's a lot of sodium, but this is my cheat meal. I always get a little, what I thought, jokingly feedback, from the woman at the counter. Well today she flat out refused to give me extra, even when I politely asked. I usually even throw a tip in their pointless tip jar. I told her I wouldn't be taking/paying for the food without the extra sauce. She let me walk out, and lost a customer. read more

We eat her at least once every two weeks. Sometimes having delivery- but its not as hot as I would like it and it takes almost 45 mins to deliver. Pick up orders are normally 15 mins. Its always clean inside the restaurant and no dirty drays at tables. Rice and lo main dishes have flavor and are not over cooked mush. (But sometimes is a little oily) The combination dinner and lunch dishes are a good deal. Substitutions only costing a $1. Good size portions with not much fat on the teriyaki sticks. Some combination dish portions of the meat or veggie are not always consistent depending on the cook that is on- but overall good taste despite the size. ( Crab rangoon are small but not loaded with cream cheese to appear full.) Extra parking lot in rear next to the park. Worth trying !! read more

Dependable good Chinese food. Their duck sauce is the best . Recommend the crab rangoon, beef teriyaki, and chicken wings.

Girl at the front desk is friendly. The guys that work here are nice too. They definitely seem a lot cleaner than before I was here. This is one of the best Chinese food places in Worcester. Quick service. read more

New Chef Ho Restaurant - combination plate L substitute for shrimp lo mein! - Chinese Near Me - Worcester, Massachusetts

I've been going to Chef Ho since they were on the hill ( Vernon Hill ). I love me a Letter E , I will either get it straight up, or get a sub, depending on my preference at that time. The spicy Chicken Teryaki is my favorite food that comes in " on a stick " form. Very polite and attentive employees, and the food comes out faster than you can blink. Everyone who knows/lives in the " Green Island " neighborhood, will tell you Chef Ho, is " where its at " . read more

I mean I been to a few around Worcester. But this place has never let me down. food always taste good. and I can't get over how fast they are. must go here. best L ride stop. read more

Cheap eats. Not the best quality but adequate. Neighbors raved a out it but it was just blah for me.

Customer service sucks!!! Need someone who speaks and understands English. Don't eat their food!

I wouldn't give this place even one star if possible. Our lo mein was burnt. The beef was slimy in all our dishes. Pork fried rice had maybe 4 pieces of pork and no flavor. We called to resolve and were hung up on. Awful all around. read more

Ate from here once food was ok but apparently rudeness is on the top of their menu. First of all Cash ONLY, are you kidding in this age of debit cards? So I did not have enough for my order and the rude Woman did not even give me a moment to change my order and just said "oh OK sorry bye" I'm good, plenty more Chinese restaurants with better manners. read more

Really good and not too oily. The all-day special combos are really good. The spicy teriyaki beef is delicious. read more

Low prices and great food! We are fans of the teriyaki beef on a stick, chicken with cashews, beef and brocolli, and fried rice. The older lady behind the counter is a character and a half. She has personality for sure. read more

New Chef Ho Restaurant - Chinese Near Me - Worcester, Massachusetts

used to be good, maybe 3-4 yrs ago, now it sucks. batter too thick on chicken fingers and shrimp, it was like eating plastic and the chicken itself, was rubbery. completely turned me off. won't eat there again read more

Tried to order lunch before their lunch time ended. Lee said no. Ordered dinners anyhow. Was sons bday they wanted Chinese. Picked it up... EARLY. Got home and the bag had leaked all over my back seat. Brought in bag and it fell apart. Food inside was cold all the steak and pork was hard as rock. Called and spoke with lee. She said basically too bad. And she did not care about loosing a customer... been going there for 30yrs... VERY DISAPPOINTING. read more

The is food is okay, it's not the best nor the worst. What they're good at is that they're really quick on completing your order.

Hole in a wall with lots of good flavors. The service is good when dinning in but deliveries seemed to be very inconsistent.

My favorite place by far for some awesome Chinese! Every thing they make tastes great and the price is t bad either. Anyone I've ever brought here loves to food. read more

Overall I was not impressed at all with the food here. I got the general tsaos chicken and it had zero flavor. The crab rangoon had less than an ounce of filling and was extremely disappointing. I will not be going back there again. read more

Very bad customer service and food was not good. You have to wait a long time for them just to give you uncooked food. Won't be coming back

Probably the best delivery Chinese food we have had so far in Worcester. Nice combo platters, fast delivery, typical Chinese cuisine. I'm a big crab Rangoon fan and I thought they were a little under stuffed, it tasted mostly like the breading which was disappointing. Everything else was great. Now our go-to place Chinese delivery restaurant. read more

II have ordered from Chef ho since I moved to Worcester and they were up on Vernon st. I have never had a bad meal. Love, love, love the spicy beef teriyaki! The only thing that upsets me, is you can pay by credit card in the restaurant, but not over the phone for delivery. Does anyone carry cash anymore? But, even with that said, I wouldn't order from anywhere else. I have tried other places, but nothing compares. read more

If you're looking for a cure to your hangover, you've come to the right spot. Chef ho is exactly what you pay for: fast, cheap Chinese food- and I'm not complaining. Try their lobster sauce with white or fried rice or their beef teriyaki. Delivery is a $10 minimum and an additional $2.50 charge. Pickup is fast and the order has always been correct for me. They also give you plenty of duck sauce, soy sauce, hot mustard and fortune cookies. read more

Great Food !!! Good people and good prices. One of the best in Worcester

I went there a couple days ago around 12 pm (noon time) and the crab Rangoon's were very very soggy, the boneless pare ribs were very fatty and not very crispy when I asked for them extra crispy, and the rice just tasted burnt. I used to love eating here and now it's just gone down hill, they need to do better. read more

The food is so-so, just your average Chinese food. I ordered the chow fun, but there was barely any noodle. It came with lots and lots of vegetables, including green peppers; which I hate. The sesame chicken was good, but the pork fried rice it came with didn't taste fresh. read more

We have had our food delivered from there for years with no issues. I called in an order and they told me an hour. After an hour and a half I called and the girl on the phone said the driver was out and I should have our food "in a couple of minutes". Another 20 minutes went by and still nothing. I called again and was told the food would be on it's way. Depending on who you believed my food would have been in the delivery car for 40 minutes. At that point I canceled the order, having 4 people over for dinner. I called to place an order a week later and was told they would not deliver and that I should expect to wait longer than being told. When I tried to explain about calling in and being told our food was on it's way he didn't care. The food is ok but not worth the wait. As customer I is still expect to be treated as if my business means something to them which evidently it doesn't . I'm giving them 1 star for lack of customer service and another for the food. read more
