Chef Ho, Worcester, Massachusetts I am never disappointed at Chef Ho, but I ordered the same thing almost every time. I should Branch out, at least for the good of the group. This is a combo special, it's served all day. Spicy beef teriyaki. Comes with pkf, (or substituted for $1.00 with lo mein) spicy beef teriyaki with onions, peppers, and sneaky little chillis and an order of crab Rangoon. Not a lot of filling, but good. I also ordered boneless spareribs. They have the good duck sauce!! Menu included in pictures. There are tables available, but it is more of a take-out or delivery restaurant

We eat her at least once every two weeks. Sometimes having delivery- but its not as hot as I would like it and it takes almost 45 mins to deliver. Pick up orders are normally 15 mins. Its always clean inside the restaurant and no dirty drays at tables. Rice and lo main dishes have flavor and are not over cooked mush. (But sometimes is a little oily) The combination dinner and lunch dishes are a good deal. Substitutions only costing a $1. Good size portions with not much fat on the teriyaki sticks. Some combination dish portions of the meat or veggie are not always consistent depending on the cook that is on- but overall good taste despite the size. ( Crab rangoon are small but not loaded with cream cheese to appear full.) Extra parking lot in rear next to the park. Worth trying !!

combination plate L substitute for shrimp lo mein!

Girl at the front desk is friendly. The guys that work here are nice too. They definitely seem a lot cleaner than before I was here. This is one of the best Chinese food places in Worcester. Quick service.

Always dependable and so good! The lunch/dinner combos are enough for 2-3 meals! Food is always hot and delicious. Can't go wrong.

Dependable good Chinese food. Their duck sauce is the best . Recommend the crab rangoon, beef teriyaki, and chicken wings.

The is food is okay, it's not the best nor the worst. What they're good at is that they're really quick on completing your order.

Very bad customer service and food was not good. You have to wait a long time for them just to give you uncooked food. Won't be coming back

Never thought I would give this place a low review because it has been consiste toy it has good but I feel like I just wasted $46. I will likely end up throwing most of it away They have redecorated and added a Boba tea area so there is basically no more eat-in tables. Not sure of it's under new mgt. Chicken wings: tasted/looked nothing like chicken I've gotten their before. It was cold, really breaded, and SUPER SALTY. I over salt everything so if I say it's salty, it must be bad. The chicken was sitting in a large foil container so I assume it was fried ahead of time. Or they literally had catering for some items. House LoMein: texture was off, zero flavor. The noodles were kind of sticky/slimy. Egg rolls: $2.95/piece for these tiny things?!?! Cold in the inside, clearly pre-frozen. Shrimp egg foo yung: yes, I'm a weirdo who loves egg foo young it it was inedible. It tastes like it was fried in old oil a few days ago and frozen then re-fries today. Couldn't eat it. White rice: it's bad enough that you have to pay for it separately and it is $$ but it was mushy! ‍ I splurged for New Years Eve so this was $46 of my hard earned money down the drain. I assume that they precooked items (?) due to the holiday rush but they should not ever skimp on the quality of the food, especially when they have a good reputation. I will not be ordering from here again even though it used to be my go-to place...one that I could relay on to be fresh and tasty. I hope that this food is not indicative of how 2024 is going to be. If so, it's not off to a good start.

He & our toddler liked the Dan Dan Noodles. The service was good and attentive for the most part. Towards the end, our waiter disappeared for a while until it was clear we were trying to pack up. I also ordered shrimp in garlic sauce. The young ladies that work at the front desk were very nice. Took my order and gave me my food within 15 minutes. Very smooth. The place itself looks really cool and has a good vibe. When I went to go get my sushi I realized they didn't give me any cutlery or napkins. So, I had to run back in there and they gave me these cute little packets with everything that I needed. The the ribs and soup were really good. The shrimp in garlic sauce was just OK. The shrimp and vegetables were definitely overcooked and a little bit mushy. Also, I was surprised it did not come with any white rice. Usually that sort of thing comes with some rice in almost every restaurant I've ever been in. So I would definitely not recommend getting shrimp in garlic sauce. If I'm ever in this area again, I would definitely come back and get those ribs and the wonton soup.

But overall, the food is hit or miss. Sauces can be overly sweet, and some dishes just feel flat or overcooked. It's the kind of place where one visit is decent, and the next is disappointing. Takeout can be soggy, and the buffet feels tired if you don't hit it early. Service ranges from friendly to forgetful. Nothing was bad enough to keep me from going back if I'm nearby--but it's not a spot I'd go out of my way for either.
